Abstract

The background of the research was poor response of students toward the given stimulus by teacher in the form of exercise question and the answer of the question. This condition required teacher to think and act creatively to solve the students’ difficulties. One of them could be done by using learning model to facilitate students in sharing responses dealing with materials or tasks given by the teacher in the form android application. It would facilitate students to think and present creative answers. The objective of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of SAVI model based ICT toward mathematics creative thinking skill of students seen from their life skill. This mix method research was typed sequential explanatory. The procedures to collect the data were qualitative and quantitative. The population consisted of all fifth graders of SD Islam Al–Azhar 25 Semarang. The samples were selected by purposive sampling. There were VA and VB students of the school, consisting of 60 persons as experimental group. While, VC and VE students of the school, consisting of 60 students were grouped as experimental group. The technique of collecting the data was test. The findings showed that mathematics creative thinking skill of experimental group was better than control group. Mathematics creative thinking skill and their life skills were categorized high, moderate, and poor. The categorization showed that mathematics creative thinking of the students had different mastering indicators seen from their life skills.

Abstract

 Potensi wisata yang begitu besar belum bisa dimanfaatkan oleh warga  sekitar karena kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang potensi wisata yang dimilikinya. Selain itu,kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat menjadi salah satu penghambat dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata yang ada. Masyarakat cenderung lebih memilih bekerja di pabrik daripada mengembangkan potensi wisata yang dinilai belum tentu keuntungannya. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberdayaan potensi wisata di Desa Gogik Kecamatan Ungaran Barat Kabupaten Semarang, antara lain (1) Pengembangan potensi wisata alam unggulan daerah Kabupaten Semarang yang mampu menarik wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara ke Desa Gogik kecamatan Ungaran Barat(2) pemetaan potensi wisata dan fasilitas pendukung seperti papan informasi, petunjuk arah, pusat kuliner serta  factor lainnya., (3) publikasi wisata yang ada di gogik melalui pengembangan objek wisata dan media social. (4) Pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata (POKDARWIS); (5) Menjalin kemitraan dengan pemerintah, perguruan tinggi, industry (UKM), dan masyarakat luas. Berdasarkan Permasalahan dan solusi yang ditawarkan, Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki luaran sebagai berikut: Publikasi ilmiah di Jurnal/proseding, publikasi di media masa/cetak/elektronik, peningkatan  omset dibidang ekonomi, peningkatan keterampilan dan pemahaman masyarakat, peningkatan ketentraman/kenyamanan masyarakat. dan masyarakat dapat mandiri mengelola sumberdaya yang ada di Desa Gogik kecamatan Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Tim pelaksana pengabdi dipilih dari berbagai bidang ilmu yang relevan sehingga dapat menunjang terlaksananya program dan sudah memiliki pengalan dibidang penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sehingga program yang didudun dapat berjalan lancer dan sesuai target yang diharapkan.

Abstract

This researchaims to describe students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in terms of learning styles and gender.The method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques in this study were carried out through direct activities at school. Data collection was carried out by means of tests of mathematical creative thinking skills, learning style questionnaires, interviews and documentation.The results of the research are (1) students 'mathematical creative thinking abilities in terms of visual and gender learning styles are more likely to fulfill authenticity and detail indicators, but what is unique is that only one subject can fulfill fluency and flexibility indicators, (2) students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in terms of style. Auditory learning and gender are more likely to meet the indicators of authenticity and detail, however, what is unique is that only one subject cannot meet the indicators of flexibility and fluency, and (3) students' mathematical creative thinking abilities in terms of kinesthetic learning styles and gender, there are only two students who tend to fulfill indicators of fluency, flexibility and detail and two students meet indicators of fluency and detail because they are able to solve problems in a very detailed and systematic manner,while the other two students only meet the authenticity indicator

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematical creative thinking skills based on mathematical dispositions in creative problem solving learning with an open-ended approach. This research is a mixed method research with a sequential explanatory model. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP N 3 Pabelan Semarang Regency in the academic year 2020/2021 with a sample of class VIII A and class VIII C as the experimental class and the control class. The research subjects were two students each with high mathematical disposition, medium mathematical disposition and low mathematical disposition. The results showed that students' creative thinking skills in each category of disposition had similarities and differences. All disposition categories have fulfilled the fluency aspect. On the flexibility aspect, only students with high disposition category are fulfilled. Subjects with a low disposition category can only fulfill one and two aspects of creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

The 21st century learning is required to develop 4C capabilities and one of them is creativity. The society that is with the rapid development of information technology needs critical, collaborative, communicative and creative thinking skills. This study aims to determine the characteristics of students' mathematical creative thinking skills in solving mathematical problems in the terms of independence in problem-based learning with the Open-Ended approach. The population in this study was class VII SMP Negeri 14 Semarang. The sampling in this study used cluster random sampling technique. The data obtained from tests of mathematical creative thinking skills, interviews and students’ learning independence questionnaires. The conclusion of this study is the independence of student learning in problem-based learning with the Open Ended approach has an influence on the ability to think creatively in mathematics.

Abstract

Improving communication skill through mathematics learning should be owned by students in their daily lives. Such effort should be done to reach mathematics learning purpose. This research aims to create review effectiveness of CIRC typed cooperative learning to students’ mathematics communication skills, and obtain the existence of mathematics communication skill differences reviewed by student emotional quotient. This mixed method research used triangulation concurrent method. The subjects were fifth graders of 03 Public Primary School Ngaliyan Semarang. The findings showed that CIRC typed cooperative learning reached classical accomplishment with only 68.57%. It meant it had not reached classical accomplishment criteria 70%. The average of mathematics communication skill test by using CIRC was 71.54, better than those taught by discovery learning with 54.43. There was improvement of the students’ mathematics communication. And the emotional quotients of the students did not influence their mathematics communication skill improvement. Thus, it could be concluded that CIRC typed cooperative learning could effectively improve mathematics communication skills of the students. Based on the findings, it is suggested to create questions emphasizing on indicators and implementing emotional quotients as efforts to improve mathematics communication skills.

Abstract

This research aims to find students' creative thinking skills by learning Problem Based Learning assisted by Google Classroom in terms of Goal Orientation. This research is a mixed method type of concurrent embedded design with a quasi-experimental quantitative research design. The research subjects were students of class X SMAN 1 Purwodadi Grobogan. The results obtained are that students with the mastery goal category can achieve the four indicators of mathematical creative thinking skills, namely fluency indicators, flexibility indicators, detail indicators, and authenticity indicators while students with performance goal categories can only meet two indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability. The indicators of flexibility and authenticity are not met. Students with the mastery goal category tend to have a high independence character, while students with the performance goal category tend to have moderate or even low independence characteristics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical creative thinking skills based on field independent and field dependent cognitive styles. The research uses mixed research methods with a concurrent embedded strategy. The population in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila in the academic year 2020/2021. The sample selection used cluster random sampling technique and obtained class VIII A as the experiment class and class VIII C as the control class. The final data analysis of the quantitative research used the right-hand average difference test and the normalized gain test. Final data analysis of qualitative research with data triangulation. The results showed that field independent students met the aspects of mathematical creative thinking skills. Field independent students are very interested in the new concepts learned, understand the given structure, good analytical skills and can work independently. Then the field dependent students also meet the aspects of mathematical creative thinking skills. Field dependent students are quite interested in the new concept being studied, do not understand the given structure, use an experiential approach to solving problems, and tend to require guidance and direction to solve problems.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematik peserta didik pada pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem based learning berbantuan CD pembelajaran mencapai ketuntasan yang diharapkan; (2) untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematik peserta didik pada pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem based learning berbantuan CD pembelajaran lebih lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional; dan (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara motivasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengambilan sampel secara acak. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi metode observasi, metode skala dan metode tes. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji ketuntasan individual, uji ketuntasan klasikal, uji perbedaan rata-rata, dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendekatan problem based learning berbantuan CD pembelajaran lebih efektif untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematik peserta didik pada materi pokok segiempat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang memperoleh materi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran MMP dapat mencapai ketuntasan, mengetahui apakah kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang memperoleh materi pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran MMP lebih baik daripada  kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang memperoleh materi pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran ekspositori, dan mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh keaktifan siswa yang memperoleh materi pembelajaran dengan model MMP terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Wonosobo tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Dengan teknik cluster random sampling, terpilih sampel yaitu siswa kelas X-4 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diterapkan pembelajaran ekspositori dan kelas X-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan model MMP berbantuan Cabri 3D. berdasarkan hasil uji ketuntasan individual dan klasikal, diperoleh ketuntasan belajar dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata, diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana, diperoleh adanya pengaruh keaktifan siswa kelas eksperimen terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Simpulan yang diperoleh yaitu pembelajaran dengan model MMP mencapai ketuntasan, rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada model MMP lebih tinggi dari pada rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran ekspositori, dan terdapat pengaruh positif keaktifan siswa pada model pembelajaran MMP terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.
