Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) The different effects of reciprocal and inclusion teaching technique on the basketball layup shoot learning results.                  (2) The different effects of high and low motor skills on the basketball layup shoot learning results. (3) The relationship between teaching technique and motor skills to the basketball layup shoot learning results. This research used 2x2 factorial experiment design. The research population was 67 students of Department of Sports Coaching Education, Faculty of Sports, Universitas Negeri Semarang. The sampling technique used purposive random sampling, a sample of 40 students. The data analysis technique used was a two-way ANAVA test and a significance level of a = 0.05, and the Tukey test. The results of the research were: (1) The effect of the teaching technique and motor skills to the basketball layup shoot learning results, Fvalue = 4.367 and significant value 0.044 is smaller than significant value 0.05, (2) The effect of high and low motor ability, Fvalue = 82.010 and significant value 0.000 is smaller than significant value 0.05, (3) The relation between teaching technique and motor skills to the basketball layup shoot learning results, Fvalue = 5.239 and significant value 0.028 smaller than significant value 0.05.

Abstract

The research objectives are to evaluate and to analyze: (1) the antecedent covering background and objective of coaching program at Indonesian Swimming Association or PRSI (Persatuan Renang Seluruh Indonesia) in South Sumatera; (2) the transaction including athletes and trainers recruitment, implementation of training programs, facilities and infrastructures, consumption, coordination, transportation, welfare of trainers and athletes, funding sources of coaching programs of PRSI in South Sumatera; (3) the outcome encompassing the success of swimming program of PRSI in South Sumatera. Then, this research used qualitative research by applying evaluation of Countenance (Stake). From this research, it can be concluded that; (1) the antecedent of both the background and the purpose of coaching program are clear, (2) the transaction of the recruitment system of both trainers and athletes and the implementation of the training have done well, the national and international standard facilities and infrastructures have been proper maintained, the availability of consumption of athletes is in poor conditions, the transportation used by athletes and coaches is quite good, the coordination and the funding obtained are run well; (3) the outcome of coaching program at PRSI of South Sumatera has decreased.

Abstract

This study was aimed at analyzing (1) the difference of influence between chinning-up and push-up training to shooting free throw result on female basketball athletes in PGRI University of Palembang; (2) the difference of influence bettween athlete with long arm and athlete with short arm to shooting free throw result on female basketball athlete in PGRI University of Palembang; (3) the interaction between training method and arm length to shooting free throw result on female basketball athlete in PGRI University of Palembang. The research used quantitavive experimental method by using two factorial design. The treatments were arranged in such a way that each individual can be a simultaneous subject in two different factors in which each factor consists of several levels. Based on hypothesis testing result of the previous researches, resulted three analysis: (1) There is a difference of influence of chinning-up and push-up training method to shooting free throw result. (2) There is no difference of influence between the long arm category and the short arm category on female basketball athletes at PGRI University of Palembang. (3) There is an interaction effect between chinning-up training methods and arm length to shooting free throw result on female basketball athletes at PGRI University of Palembang.

Abstract

The design of training for children is required to be creative and innovative. One of them is making game-based learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of game-based circuit training models and leg length on the speed of a 60-meter sprint run of students at Jobokuto 1 Elementary School, Jepara. This study uses a sample of grade IV students Jobokuto 1 Elementary School, Jepara, with a total of 38 students. Data collection techniques using sprint 60-meter sprint test. The research method uses experimental research so that the data analysis technique used is the Anova formula with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research test. There is a difference in the effect of training circuit training with the play model on the result of the sprint speed of 60-meters. There is a difference of influence of leg length with low limb and leg category to result of sprint speed of 60. There is an interaction between the training circuit training method and the leg length to the result of the sprint speed of 60-meters. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of this study is the athletic game of the color play model is feasible and acceptable or used in the lesson penjasorkes athletic learning materials in Elementary School.

Abstract

Sragen regency has an active member of Taekwondo 1179 jeja according to February 2018 increase test. Referring to SOP PBTI regency/city administration should have basic guidance for training to enable them to take exams from geup 1 to DAN test. So the researcher is interested to conduct research to develop the manual which contains the training materials which refer to the district level improvement test referring to the provincial increase test. The objectives of this study resulted in training guidance of Taekwondo level increase in Sragen Regency and resulted in effective guidance for trainers and jeja. The research design used in this research is development or R & D. Development steps are potential and problem analysis, data and information collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product trial, and product revision. The feasibility test is performed by a Taekwondo material expert validator and a media and language expert validator. Small-scale book trials use 10 jeja and 40 jeja for large-scale trials. Types of data are quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive percentage, while the qualitative data were analyzed by drawing conclusions. The data were collected by questionnaire instrument. The average percentage gained from the examination of two material expert validators is 88.6% which means the book is good to use. The results of the assessment of two validators of media and language experts, manuals are well-stated average percentage of 87.5%. Based on the criticism and suggestions from the validator, the book needs to be revised. After the revision phase, the module is tested. The results of small-scale trials are 87%, indicating that the book is declared good for use, whereas large-scale trials are 87.2% declared good and usable. Suggestions for product development is for jeja and coach to study the manual.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the management of the implementation of sports classes at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh in Pemalang district which focused on the main problems, namely: (1) organizing, (2) students, (3) workforce, (4) curriculum and training programs, (5) infrastructure, and (6) funding. In this study, a qualitative approach was used. Data collection techniques use interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data sources were taken from the Sports Class Implementation Team. Data validity is obtained by triangulation. Data were analyzed by (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) concluding. The results of the study showed that the management of sporting classes at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh in Pemalang district was generally good by the Guidelines for the implementation of sports class programs. Sports class coaching organization at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh has established good relations with the local government but has not established cooperation with universities in order to implement sports science and technology. Management of students has run well, starting from recruitment, implementation of learning, and implementation of training programs. Manpower management is also good enough, physical education teachers in sports classes are qualified, while the trainer has a minimum training certificate. For the sports class curriculum, it has been running well with the regular class curriculum, namely the 2013 curriculum with its syllabus for physical education subjects plus more material on the branches of Athletics, Volleyball, and Artistic Gymnastics in accordance with the sports developed at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh, As for the sports class training program at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh has not gone well, the management of sports class infrastructure facilities at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh has run well. The management of funding for the sports class program at Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh has run quite well, ranging from the use of its aid funds and reporting.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Imagery training methods and hand-eye coordination on the exercise of ball batting practice of softball on the softball-baseball student's activity unit athletes of UNNES. The research method was using an experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The sample was 22 athletes were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The instrument for a test of hitting the ball is Elrod softball batting tests of Johnson BL and Nelson JK, eye-hand coordination by catching-throwing tennis balls at a wall that had been given a target by Ismaryati in Tatag Efendi.  Data analysis technique was using ANOVA with two lanes. The results showed that   Imagery training methods (exercises internal and external imagery) effected on the result of batting practice balls softball-baseball students activity unit athletes of UNNES there were differences of influence between the level of hand-eye coordination high and low on the results of batting practice balls softball on the softball-baseball students activity unit athletes of UNNES and there were interactions between imagery training method (exercise internal imagery and external imagery) and hand-eye coordination (high and low) on the results of ball batting practice of softball on the softball-baseball students activity unit athletes of UNNES. The conclusion the imagery internal exercise had better influences on the results of a softball batting practice.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the infrastructure of learning physical education, sports, and health of Public Elementary School in Parakan District, Temanggung Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the state of infrastructure facilities for physical education, sports and health learning in schools. The data collection technique of this research uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Quantitative data obtained through observation, interview and documentation techniques were analyzed and then converted to qualitative data. The subjects of this research were Public Elementary School in Parakan District, Temanggung Regency, totaling 22 schools. The results showed that the infrastructure facilities for learning physical education, sports and health of Public Elementary School in Parakan District, Temanggung Regency were in good category of 2 schools (9.09%), in enough category were 9 schools (40.91%) and less in 11 schools (50%). The results of this research concluded that infrastructure facilities learning physical education, sports, and health of public elementary schools in Parakan District, Temanggung Regency in the average category fulfilled RI Minister of Education Regulation No. 24 of 2007 concerning infrastructure facilities standards and has been implemented with the policy direction of the school.

Abstract

This research aimed at: (1) evaluating the antecedent of athletes’ achievement coaching program of measurable sports which covered background (management, coach, and athletes), purposes, and coaching programs, (2) evaluating the transaction of athletes’ achievement coaching program of measurable sports which covered management board selection, coach selection, athlete selection, training program and appropriate working program, sources availability, and the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructures, (3) evaluating the outcomes of athletes’ achievement coaching program of measurable sports which covered coach performance or coaching results (medals results).  This research used descriptive qualitative method by considering Countence Model of Stake which covers antecedents, transactions, and outcomes. Informants in this research were KONI management board of Lampung Province, provincial administrator of Lampung (Pengprov), coach, and athletes and parents. The results of the research: (1) Antecedent which covered equipment completeness was well structured, where there was clear management structure and the existence    of  athletes’ coaching program was clear, but it was not well programmed, (2) Transaction on the athletes’ coaching program of measurable sports in Lampung Province was not good, (3) Outcomes, in this case, the results were not good enough. Athletes’ achievements were less stable since they did not get medals every year and also they were not routinely participating in championships every year.

Abstract

This research aims to produce stick model gymnastics products, find out the effectiveness, and acceptability of students and physical education teachers. Borg & Gall's model development research procedures include: preliminary product analysis, expert validation, field trials, product revisions, and final product development results. The results of this research are stick exercise models in the form of DVDs and guidebooks. The research data contained a significant increase from field trials on psychomotor aspects from 10% to 34.6%. Affective from 23.3% to 45.2%. Cognitive from 53.3% to 67.3%. Conclusion Researchers have developed appropriate stick gymnastics as a learning media for elementary school students, effectively making students move actively, and can be accepted by students and physical education teachers.
