This research is quantitative using the Pre-experimental Design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The sample in this study used children aged 5-6 years in RA Al Iman Banaran which numbered 34 children. Data collection techniques used are observation and Likert scale. The method of analysis of this study was assisted by SPSS 16.0. Based on the calculation results using Paired Sample t-Test shows that if the -ttable> tcount> ttable then it is significant, meaning that it can be interpreted that (-2,042> -30,799 or 30,799> 2,042) with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. The conclusion is that there are differences in the level of understanding of children's balanced nutrition through Nutrition Pop-Up Book children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Iman Banaran. The conclusion of the study is that there is an increased understanding through the media. Some suggestions for schools should facilitate books on balanced nutrition to increase children's understanding of balanced nutrition.  Keywords: Understanding Balanced Nutrition of Children,  Nutrition Pop-Up Book

The method of data collection used in this study is a quantitative method in the form of the questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis technique. Based on statistical calculations, the t test obtains the value of t count > t table, that is 18.78 > 2.024) with sig = 0,000. The results are Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted then. So, there is a significant difference between increasing the creativity of early childhood before and after application of carving activity. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, that is, the child after carving art activity implementation has higher creativity improvement than the child before applying the carving art activities.

Abstract

Cases of adult sex abuse against children are rampant, indicating that sex education from an early age is very important. Adults consider children as innocent beings, so they are often targeted by sex. Child innocence is also used by individuals to carry out immoral acts against children. The problem statement from this study is whether there is a difference in knowledge about early childhood sex education before and after the application of the Protect Our Selves media in learning, and whether the mean score after being given the application of the Protect Our Selves media in learning is knowledgeable about sex education is higher than the child before applying the Protect Our Selves media. The aim is to obtain facts and explain the differences in knowledge of child sex education before and after using the Protect Our Selves media and to explain that children who learn to use the Protect Our Selves media have higher knowledge about early childhood sex education than children before using the Protect Our Selves media. This research is a kind of quantitative research with the research subjects being children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi Gambuhan Kindergarten Pulosari District, Pemalang Regency, with 31 children. Methods of data collection in the form of observation, Likert scale, documentation. Technical data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of the study based on statistical calculations, obtained t_count = 10.36212 from the distribution list t with t_table = 2.042. So that it can be concluded that 〖t〗 count> t_table then H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. So there is a significant difference between the knowledge of sex education in children before and after the application of learning through the media Protect Our Selves. Based on the descriptive analysis on the results of the calculations that have been done, the mean is 157.74 at the pretest value, and the mean is 201.65 at the posttest value. This means that the second hypothesis is accepted, that is, the child after being applied to the Protect Our Selves media has a higher knowledge of sex education than the child before applying the Protect Our Selves media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of a geometric mosaic can improve the spatial-visual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang by using a pre-experimental design method in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The populations in this study were 45 children of class B in Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling, where the criteria for determining the sample are children who do not understand the criteria for spatial-visual ability. The sample used in this study was 30 children. The data from the pretest and posttest were processed using the SPSS application. The researcher also collected documentation that served as supporting data. The data results were obtained through statistical calculations through paired sample t-test. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis can be accepted then the value of tcount must be smaller than ttable (tcount <ttabel) and Sig. <0.05. The results show that the value of tcount <ttabel is -7,350 <1,697 and Sig. 0,000 <0.05 so that Ha can be accepted. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the geometric mosaic can improve the spatial-visual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Structural Analytic Synthetic method on the early reading ability in kindergarten-B-age children. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of experimental approach. The research design used is research design from pre-experimental design is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were kindergartners B in Sabilul Huda Kaloran Islamic Kindergarten, totaling 35 children. The data collection technique used is to scale the aspects of the development of early reading skills in kindergarten-B-age children with a total of 34 valid items that have previously been tested, so that they can be used in research. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistical data analysis and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test. All calculations were processed using IBM SPSS 20. Early reading ability of children in kindergarten-B-age before being given treatment in the very low category reached 14.5%, the low category reached 40%, the high category reached 45.7% and the very high category reached 0%. Whereas after being given treatment in the very low category reached 0%, the low category reached 5.7%, the high category reached 68.6% and the very high category reached 25.7%. This shows that there is an increase in the percentage of early reading skills in kindergarten-B-age children before and after treatment. Based on paired sample t-test calculation, it is known that the tcount = -16.002> ttable = 1.673 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words, there are differences in the average pretest and posttest results, which means that there is an influence of structural analytic synthetic methods on the early reading ability of children in kindergarten-B-age in Sabilul Huda Kaloran Islamic Kindergarten.

Test hypotheses using a calculation of paired sample t-Test results obtained the value of the pretest and posttest retrieved value thitung with value 16,219 registration-sig (2-tailed) 0000 < 0.05 which means there is a significant difference between the value of the pretest and posttest. Obtained by mean of-21,433, the minus sign indicates that the average of the first group (pretest data). Then HO denied and Ha is received, this indicates that there is a difference in the average value of the pretest and posttest. Summary of the research is there is a significant difference in the level of ability to talk children aged 4-5 years after using media replicas.
