Abstract

Conservative characteristic aims at boosting care or attention to the surrounding environment. Learning science based on scientific approach is beneficial to find out the reasons and impacts exist in the environment through the process of observation, questionning, collecting and processing information, and communicating. This study aims at finding out the difference of improvement of conservative characteristic through science for beginner based on scientific approach on children from 5-6 years of age. Research method used is quantitative method while research design is experimental design through One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample used is 30 children on the age of 5-6. Sampling technique used is purposive sample. The result of this research analyzed with Paired Sample t-Test is that the improvement of 38,9 in percentage 38% coming from average value of pretest from 102,27 turning into 141,17 for posttest average score. The increase is started from 25 points up to 57 points. This increase is resulted from t-test with -tcount= -27,422 less than -ttable= -2,045 that is -2,045>-27,422 or 27,422>2,045 with significance value (2-tailed) by 0,00 < 0,05. This means that there is such significant difference on conservative characteristic through science for beginner based on scientific approach on children from 5-6 years of age in TK IT As-Shiddiqy Jepara. Abstract

This research is done based on the phenomenon at TK (Kindergarten) ABA Rendeng, Purworejo City where children are not used to communicating what they see, the minimal use of tools and materials during the learning process, models and variations of learning that are not appropriate with the material and often using media images or through worksheets. From these problems it will result in children having difficulty drawing conclusions, lack of understanding of children, children are often not interested in science activities, and children feel bored. This study aims to prove whether there are differences and improvement in science process skills after being given a decision-making learning model. The population of this study is all students with total 50. The sample is 31 students from the total population that are taken by cluster sample technique. This study uses an experimental model with a one-group pretest-posttest design technique. The results of the calculation of the t-test have obtained the value of t-count = 2.042 with sig = 0.000 so Ha is accepted. This proves that there are significant differences regarding the class B child science process skills in terms of giving treatment by using decision-making learning models. From the test results using the percentage technique, there is an increase in children's science skills in class B, as seen from the percentage increase in pretest and posttest data of 32.2%

Abstract

Cases of adult sex abuse against children are rampant, indicating that sex education from an early age is very important. Adults consider children as innocent beings, so they are often targeted by sex. Child innocence is also used by individuals to carry out immoral acts against children. The problem statement from this study is whether there is a difference in knowledge about early childhood sex education before and after the application of the Protect Our Selves media in learning, and whether the mean score after being given the application of the Protect Our Selves media in learning is knowledgeable about sex education is higher than the child before applying the Protect Our Selves media. The aim is to obtain facts and explain the differences in knowledge of child sex education before and after using the Protect Our Selves media and to explain that children who learn to use the Protect Our Selves media have higher knowledge about early childhood sex education than children before using the Protect Our Selves media. This research is a kind of quantitative research with the research subjects being children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi Gambuhan Kindergarten Pulosari District, Pemalang Regency, with 31 children. Methods of data collection in the form of observation, Likert scale, documentation. Technical data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of the study based on statistical calculations, obtained t_count = 10.36212 from the distribution list t with t_table = 2.042. So that it can be concluded that 〖t〗 count> t_table then H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. So there is a significant difference between the knowledge of sex education in children before and after the application of learning through the media Protect Our Selves. Based on the descriptive analysis on the results of the calculations that have been done, the mean is 157.74 at the pretest value, and the mean is 201.65 at the posttest value. This means that the second hypothesis is accepted, that is, the child after being applied to the Protect Our Selves media has a higher knowledge of sex education than the child before applying the Protect Our Selves media.

Abstract

Nutrition is one of the supporting parts in the development and growth of children. Before children like and consume foods that contain balanced nutrition children need to be introduced in advance about balanced nutrition. Early childhood tend to be more enthusiastic about media that are attractive, colorful and can even move, because actually early childhood is a time when children spend most of their time playing. This study has a problem statement, namely whether there is a difference in understanding balanced nutrition of children aged 5-6 years based on the application of the Nutrition Pop-Up Book in RA Al-Iman Banaran, while this study aims to determine the difference in balanced nutrition with book media. that is. This research is quantitative using the Pre-experimental Design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The sample in this study used children aged 5-6 years in RA Al Iman Banaran which numbered 34 children. Data collection techniques used are observation and Likert scale. The method of analysis of this study was assisted by SPSS 16.0. Based on the calculation results using Paired Sample t-Test shows that if the -ttable> tcount> ttable then it is significant, meaning that it can be interpreted that (-2,042> -30,799 or 30,799> 2,042) with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000. The conclusion is that there are differences in the level of understanding of children's balanced nutrition through Nutrition Pop-Up Book children aged 5-6 years at RA Al Iman Banaran. The conclusion of the study is that there is an increased understanding through the media. Some suggestions for schools should facilitate books on balanced nutrition to increase children's understanding of balanced nutrition. Abstract

In this study, there are differences in the creativity of early childhood after the application of carving art activities in the TK Negeri (State Kindergarten) Pembina of Karanganyar District, Pekalongan Regency. This study aims to determine the improvement of the creativity of early childhood through carving activity in the Kindergarten of the Pembina District of Karanganyar District, Pekalongan Regency. The subject of this study is a group B of TK Negeri Pembina of Karanganyar District. The method in this study is experimental design through the Pretest-Posttest One Group. The research activity is carried out during 12 meetings. The sample in this study amounted to 30 children in the group B class. The method of data collection used in this study is a quantitative method in the form of the questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis technique. Based on statistical calculations, the t test obtains the value of t count > t table, that is 18.78 > 2.024) with sig = 0,000. The results are Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted then. So, there is a significant difference between increasing the creativity of early childhood before and after application of carving activity. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, that is, the child after carving art activity implementation has higher creativity improvement than the child before applying the carving art activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of a geometric mosaic can improve the spatial-visual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang by using a pre-experimental design method in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The populations in this study were 45 children of class B in Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling, where the criteria for determining the sample are children who do not understand the criteria for spatial-visual ability. The sample used in this study was 30 children. The data from the pretest and posttest were processed using the SPSS application. The researcher also collected documentation that served as supporting data. The data results were obtained through statistical calculations through paired sample t-test. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis can be accepted then the value of tcount must be smaller than ttable (tcount <ttabel) and Sig. <0.05. The results show that the value of tcount <ttabel is -7,350 <1,697 and Sig. 0,000 <0.05 so that Ha can be accepted. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the geometric mosaic can improve the spatial-visual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Structural Analytic Synthetic method on the early reading ability in kindergarten-B-age children. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of experimental approach. The research design used is research design from pre-experimental design is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were kindergartners B in Sabilul Huda Kaloran Islamic Kindergarten, totaling 35 children. The data collection technique used is to scale the aspects of the development of early reading skills in kindergarten-B-age children with a total of 34 valid items that have previously been tested, so that they can be used in research. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistical data analysis and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test. All calculations were processed using IBM SPSS 20. Early reading ability of children in kindergarten-B-age before being given treatment in the very low category reached 14.5%, the low category reached 40%, the high category reached 45.7% and the very high category reached 0%. Whereas after being given treatment in the very low category reached 0%, the low category reached 5.7%, the high category reached 68.6% and the very high category reached 25.7%. This shows that there is an increase in the percentage of early reading skills in kindergarten-B-age children before and after treatment. Based on paired sample t-test calculation, it is known that the tcount = -16.002> ttable = 1.673 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words, there are differences in the average pretest and posttest results, which means that there is an influence of structural analytic synthetic methods on the early reading ability of children in kindergarten-B-age in Sabilul Huda Kaloran Islamic Kindergarten.

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran online merupakan model pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan internet dalam proses pembelajarannya. Penerapan sistem pembelajaran online ini sendiri merupakan proses untuk mempraktekkan model pembelajaran dari sistem pembelajaran online yang sedang digunakan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sistem pembelajaran online dengan perkembangan aspek sosial emosional anak usia dini di KB-TK Islam Al Azhar 29 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 38 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala sistem pembelajaran online dan skala perkembangan aspek sosial emosional anak. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara sistem pembelajaran online dengan perkembangan aspek sosial emosional anak. Semakin baik dan maksimal pelaksanaan dalam proses penerapan sistem pembelajaran online yang diterapkan dalam berbagai bentuk kegiatan, maka akan semakin baik pula perkembangan aspek sosial emosional anak.

Abstract

Introducing of reading concept is a process for introducing some words that doing by early introducing on alphabet symbol reading. A study of reading for early childhood is an important thing as preparation for reading readiness because it is the chance for kids as preparation for reading. One of the methods that given for introducing reading concept for kids is using attractive games and activities, such as alphabet beads board. The purpose of this research is for discover the effectivity of alphabet beads board as introducing of reading concept for kids age 5-6 years old (Experimental Research In Masyitoh V Margasari Kindergarten, Margasari District, Tegal County). This research using method Quasi-Experiment with The Static Group Comparison. Sampling technique is using Cluster Sampling with 5th Masyitoh Margasari Kindergarten as the experimental group and Karang Asem Masyitoh Kindergarten as the control group. Homogeneity test (F) showing if test score of the control group and the experimental group has variance difference. Acquired F significant score as big as 0,666. Because the significant score > 0,05; they are 0,666 > 0,005; so H0 is refused. Hypothesis test using t-test estimate (Independent sample t-test) and acquired score as big as 13,599 with ttable score as big as 2,390. Because tcount score > ttable score, they are 13,599 > 2,390; so H0 is refused. That show if there are difference on average test score of introducing of reading concept for kids age 5-6 years old. The conclusion that acquired from this research is there are significant influence by using of alphabet beads board as media for introducing of reading concept on experimental group. The meaning of this research if the using of alphabet beads board is effective as media for introducing of reading concept for kindergarten kids age 5-6 years old. Researcher suggests if we should be give learning process that proper with the personal context of early childhood by using applying and developing for enjoyable, simple, and easy media with some variation and innovative activities. Abstract

The visual-spatial intelligence of children aged 5-6 years old becomes absolutely essential for individuals to be able to adapt well to the environment and to be successful. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in visual-spatial intelligence of children aged 5-6 years after being treated using three-dimensional puzzle in PGRI 25 kindergarten, Karangrejo Semarang. The population was the students of PGRI Kindergarten in Gajahmungkur district that implemented the same curriculum. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster sampling, and the drawn sample was PGRI 25 Kindergarten, Karangrejo, group B as many as 30 children. The results of the study found an increase in the children’s visual-spatial intelligence, seen from the results of the first test and the second test after being given treatment. The results of the first test was a percentage of 46% and the second test was 54%. Then based on the calculation results of test I and II, there was an increase of visual-spatial intelligence by 8%. Based on that description, it can be concluded that three-dimensional puzzle can enhance the visual-spatial intelligence of children aged 5-6 years after being given treatment using three-dimensional puzzle.
