Abstract

Role playing method is very effective to be used for introducing values to children. If the child is already used to determine these values then it will be easier to implement them. And if it is done in a fun way, that will be memorable for children. Teachers are constantly seeking creative new approaches in solving problems, not fixated on a certain way that is monotonous, but choose other appropriate variations. Role play is one alternative that can be taken. In this case, role play is used to apply the values of entrepreneurship to students. Under these conditions, the formulation of the problem to be studied is how the implementation of the values of creative entrepreneurship and self-reliance through role playing method in the kindergarten. This study uses a qualitative method. Reasons to use qualitative research was because the object is natural, in addition to the presentation of data using descriptions that describe the real situation. The results of this study are in the center of role play, before the event takes place, the teacher provides an explanation of the activities to be carried out. Teachers offered the role to be played to the child. Teachers also provide information on what items are to be used in the role-play activity. Then the teacher gives children the freedom to play their respective roles. Teachers record all the child's behavior. From these activities children will show their creative and self-reliant value.

Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in the results of improvement in early reading skills of children through the use of media booklet. Sample was taken using purposive sampling taken in kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 34 Kendal in B age group 5-6 years. This study used an experimental method Pre-experimental design with the kind of one group pretest posttest design. Collecting data in this study using the method of observation and documentation. The study is divided into 14 sessions (1 time pretest, 12 times of treatment and continued 1 times posttest).The data were analyzed using statistical quantitative analysis methods. The results showed an increase in children's early reading skills in group B with the following details: amounting to 81.82% of children have the ability to bring the beginning of the category as well as 18.18% of the children had a very good early reading skills. Based on statistical calculations get that tcount> ttable, where t-value (+). If the worth (-) then converted mathematically, results were obtained with t-value of -36.516 great while ttable is -2.0369. It can be concluded that Ho rejected and Ha accepted, it means that there are differences in children's early reading skills after using the booklet.

Abstract

Locomotor movement skills can be developed through many ways, one of them with dance learning. The form of dance learning is music and movement because the children can do the dance according to the music and song lyrics. Locomotor skill is are movements that require the body to move in space. Locomotor movement skills in this dance include running, stepping and jumping. Type of research method used quantitative research using experiment, pre-experimental design, namely one group pretest-posttest. This research giving treatment and examining the assessment from before and after the treatment. This study aims at observing to develop of locomotor movement skills of 5-6 years old with dance learning. Indicate that increase in locomotor movement skills of children with dance learning, the score of pretest-postest. After the research is conducted, the result obtained is grades of locomotor movement skills of children in dance learning in early childhood Sekar Nagari. Through the music and movement dance learning, it is expected that children can improve the aspect of locomotor movement skills using motions and song of “dua mata saya”, because the dance is simple and every children can do this dance with memorize the song lyrics to move their body.

Abstract

The investigation is inspired by the cultural diversity of Indonesia, particularly the local contents in Semarang implemented through the world of early-childhood education. The study aims to identify the implementation of local contents in the arts learning in a play group in Gunung pati Semarang. This is theoretical study conducted in two phases as the strategies for field study implementation. The structured observation was conducted through documents, portfolio, questionnaires studies, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis was conducted thematically through date triangulation. The object was selected through purposive sampling of all populations totalled 47 play groups, then 14 were selected. The local contents were implemented in the arts learning in play groups in Gunungpati. The local contents comprise fine arts, dances, and music. Those contents were taken from the local cultures in Semarang in general and they reflect the local culture in Gunungpati.

Abstract

This research aims to know the service conductions, the mechanisms and forms of reporting, as well as to know the school health unit (UKS) program integrated to early childhood education (PAUD) institutions in the city of Semarang, in order for the service model development can run well. The objective of this research is to find out a service model of the school health unit integrated to the early childhood education institutions. This research belongs to development research. The samples were taken by using stratified random sampling technique, and data were analyzed in a descriptive analysis. This model was developed by modifying steps in learning activities at school. The research was able to describe (1) mechanisms of school health unit service program at early childhood education institutions, that includes triple UKS (health education, health services, fostering a healthy school environment), where most of its activities have not been conducted by related institutions, including the planning of activities; (2) mechanisms and the reporting form of UKS service program made by conducting team in the written form and reported to the headmaster, education service unit and community health center (Puskesmas); (3) UKS service program model integrated to early childhood education, in which conducting team identified and planned the activities of service programs on the institutions including triple UKS and determined in each daily lesson plans must be there the activities of UKS service programs in the beginning, in the middle, and also in the end of the activities.

Abstract

Adanyaledakanpenduduk dan kehamilan yang tidakdiinginkan yang berujung pada aborsi yang tidakamanakibat dariunmet need contraception (kesulitandalammemilihmetodekontrasepsi) menjadipermasalahan di berbagai negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia yang merupakan negara dengan pendudukterbesar keempat setelahCina, India, dan Amerika Serikat. Angka unmet need yang masih tinggi, yaitu 10,5% (SDKI 2017) berdampak pada tingginyapertumbuhanpenduduk, sehinggaakanmenyebabkanterhambatnyalaju pembangunan di berbagai bidang. Oleh karenanya, upaya untuk mengatur kehamilan yang melibatkanlembaga BKKBN perluditingkatkan. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhansertapendampinganbagikeluarga yang memilikianakusiadini yang mengalami kondisi unmet need for contraception, agar dapat mengatur jarak kehamilanantarasatudengan yang lainnya. Metode yang akandilakukandalam pengabdianini adalahdenganmemberikanpendampinganbagi orangtuausia subur yang memiliki Anak Usia Dini. Pengabditerdiridaritiga orang dosen yang masing-masing memiliki latar belakangbidangkeahlian yang berbeda, yaitu: PAUD-pendidikan anak dalam keluarga (1 orang), PAUD–perencanaan pembelajaran (1 orang), PAUD–kebijakan PAUD (1 orang). Agar pengabdian ini efektif dan tepat sasaran, maka timpengabdi mengundang satu orang coordinator penyuluh KB Kecamatan sebagai nara sumber. Isi kegiatanpengabdianiniberupa: (1) penyampaianmateri, (2) kegiatan pendampingan, dan (3) review hasil kegiatanpengabdian. Denganhasil akhir, parapesertapengabdianmerasapuas dan tercerahkankarenaselamaini selalu bimbangdengankondisi mereka. Target pesertadalampengabdianinisebanyak 21 orang yang terdiri dari tujuh pasang pasangansuami istri. Namunkehadiran pesertasebanyak 19 orang, sehinggadapat dihitungbahwajumlahpeserta yang hadir cukup memenuhi target yaitu sebanyak 90% yang didapat dari hasil: (19:21)x100%.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to understand comprehensively the influence of extrafeeding activities and parenting toward independence children (Experiment in student class I atSDN Pejaten Barat, South Jakarta, 2013). The method usedin this studyis the experimentalmethod with Children independen ceas the main problem which is the dependent variable. Whilefirst independent variableis the Extra Feeding activity (in this study is Cooking Fun activities andactivities Role Playing) and the second independent variable is the parenting parent (in this studyis the pattern of otoritarian parenting, democratic and permissive). In this study the samplingtechniqueto be used the multi stage cluster sampling. The sample In this study is in twoelementary school SDN 12 and SDN Pejaten Barat 10 each class I have a number of students ofapproximately 30 students so that a total number of 60 students, but at the time of the study theresearchers only select students based on parenting question naire results by category otoritarianparenting, permissive, democratic and 10 students respectively so that the samplein this studywere 30 students as control class in SDN Pejaten Barat 10 and 30 students as an experimentalclass at SDN Pejaten Barat 12. This study is a design experiment with designs fatorial 2x3.Therefore, data analysis using ANOVA two lines, iftested the difference, followed by Tukey'stestor Scheffe testto determine which one is higher. The finding lead to the recommendation touse extra feeding activities and parenting to improving independence children. And teacher shouldbe free to use learning methods especially extra feeding activities. Keyword: extra feeding activities, parenting, and independence children Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara komprehensif pengaruh kegiatan extrafeeding dan pola asuh terhadap kemandirian anak di SDN Pejaten Barat, Jakarta Selatan, 201.Variabel independen pertama adalah aktivitas extra feeding (kegiatan Fun cooking dan kegiatanRole Playing) dan variabel independen kedua adalah pola asuh orang tua (pola asuh otoritarian,demokratis dan permisif). Sampel penelitian adalah SDN 12 dan SDN Pejaten Barat 10, masingmasing kelas I memiliki jumlah siswa sekitar 30 siswa sehingga jumlah total 60 siswa, penelitimemilih siswa berdasarkan hasil pengasuhan berdasarkan kategori pola asuh otoritarian, permisif,demokratis dan masing-masing 10 siswa sehingga sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa sebagaikelas kontrol di SDN Pejaten Barat 10 dan 30 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen di SDN PejatenBarat 12. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen dengan desain penelitian 2x3 fatorial. Olehkarena itu, analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dua jalur, uji perbedaan, diikuti oleh test TukeyScheffe testto untuk menentukan mana yang lebih tinggi. Temuan menyebabkan rekomendasiuntuk menggunakan kegiatan extra feeding dan pengasuhan anak-anak untuk meningkatkankemandirian. Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual harrasment is rampant at this time. The importance of introducing early childhood sex education as an effort to prevent more victims and perpetrators of sexual deviance. Fathers as leaders contribute to being responsible for providing protection and education regarding sex education for their children. This study aims to determine the realization of the role and obstacles of fathers from the perspective of sex education for children aged 3 – 6 years in Kelurahan Kebon Jeruk. This study used a descriptive qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation methods. This study involved 6 main informants who are fathers of children aged 3 – 6 years. Data validity techniques used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that the realization of the father’s role in the perspective of sex education for children aged 3 – 6 years, namely the realization of fathers’s role as a protector in sex education is shown by (a) Creating a safe environment for sex education for children age 3 – 6 years, (b) Scheduling children’s play activities to prevent potential dangers, (c) Supervising the use of media and the internet to avoid adult content. The realization of the father’s role as an educator in sex education is shown by (a) Cooperation beetween father and mother in sex education for children aged 3 – 6 years, (b) Providing sex education information according to the understanding of children aged 3 – 6 years. Another finding of this study is the existence of father’s obstacles in providing sex education for children aged 3 – 6 years, namely (1) Father’s ignorance in the process of delivering sex education to children, (2) Gender diffrences between fathers and daughters, and (3) Father’s perception that children are not ready to be discussed about sex.

Abstract

Guru era society 5.0 adalah guru dengan pemenuhan 4 standar kompetensi dasar yang cakap dengan penggunaan teknologi. Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Indonesia tergolong memiliki kompetensi yang rendah terhadap penggunaan teknologi. Hasil pengamatan di TK Negeri Pembina Semarang memiliki permasalahan yang sama yaitu guru mengalami kesulitan saat menerapkan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran karena kurangnya pengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional Guru Kelompok A TK Negeri Pembina Semarang dengan menerapkan media powerpoint  sebagai media teknologi sederhana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus. Informan penelitian berjumlah 4 orang Guru Kelompok A di TK Negeri Pembina Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa  observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan powerpoint sebagai media pembelajaran komputer, guru dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dalam menyelenggarakan kegiatan mendidik menyenangkan sesuai karakteristik anak yaitu belajar sambil bermain dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Selain itu, meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dalam mengembangkan materi sesuai bidang keilmuan dan merancang kegiatan kreatif sesuai perkembangan anak. Kontribusi penelitian ini yaitu pendampingan penerapan powerpoint. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bahwa perlu adanya pendampingan lebih lanjut mengenai penerapan powerpoint sebagai rujukan dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan terkait kompetensi guru di Indonesia.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi pendidik pasca pandemi masih menggunakan media daring, sehingga daya tangkap dan konsentrasi pendidik tidak tepat sasaran. Pendidik RA merasa belum ada pelatihan yang menunjang tingkat literasi, numerasi, dan kreasi pendidik RA yang dilakukan secara langsung dan interaktif. Pendidik RA di Kecamatan Gebog Kabupaten Kudus masih berada pada angka 47% dari linearitas yang dipersyaratkan sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran, khususnya bidang literasi, numerasi, dan kreasi. Sementara itu tingkat pendidik yang sudah memiliki sertifikat pendidik baru mencapai 24% yang berdampak pada kualifikasi pendidik profesional. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberikan penguatan kemampuan literasi, numerasi, dan kreasi menggunakan media berbahan loose parts. Adapun uraian yang diberikan adalah pelatihan penguatan literasi pendidik RA dengan mengarah pada kemampuan ekspresif dan reseptif menggunakan looseparts, memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pendidik RA tentang delapan cabang matematika agar pengenalan numerasi anak semakin variatif dan bermakna menggunakan media berbahan looseparts, memberikan penguatan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan ragam cipta kreasi yang dapat dikembangkan pada anak usia dini. Metode kegiatan pengabdian yang digunakan adalah preparation, training & education, experience, mentoring, serta menitoring, evaluating, & feedback. Hasil dari kegiatan ini bahwa pendidik RA memiliki peningkatan kemampuan literasi, numerasi, dan kreasi setelah mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan.
