Abstract

Volunteers are individuals or groups who carry out an voluntary activity. Volunteering are usually intended to provide a service without making a profit. From a survei of 144 Indonesian over the age of 17, found that 82.2% difficult to register as a volunteer because of a lack of information regarding volunteer activities, 54.2% were hesitent to register as volunteers because of a lack information about volunteerism activities, and 96,5% felt that they needed a platform to connect volunteers with social activities. Therefore an application is made to connect volunteers with voluntary activities. Location-based application that displays a number of voluntary activities to volunteers based on the closest location. From the results of exploring needs, there are two types of actors namely volunteers as a community who want to become volunteers and social organizations as implementing activities. Therefore two applications were developed that represented the behavior of the two actors. The application was developed with the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture and data storage using Firebase services with the results of all functional testing successfully implemented and an average of usability test results above 70% which means it can be accepted by the user, and can be operated on the Android operating system with a minimum version of 16 through 29.

Abstract

Project Management that applies knowledge, skills, tools, techniques to project work activities. Poor management will impact on delays in project completion, additional costs incurred from the budget that has been prepared, the quality of construction that is not in accordance with existing requirements, and the construction process. Problems that occur at PT. Mitra Inti Cemerlang in determining material prices and labor costs, were asked to determine the price values ​​of several people who were preparing the RAB. Will cause the calculation to be wrong and can cause the contractor. Because in the process of preparing a budget plan (RAB) at PT. MIC is done by several people. In addition to the project work, a company has a project work period that must be achieved. If the contracting company cannot reach the target work time, the company will get sanctions. To assist in the process of preparing the RAB and observing the project work processes that have been carried out then to solve the problem a project management system is built. the RAB preparation process and monitoring the work processes that have been carried out. The Waterfall model will be used in the development process. And from the results of tests that have been run, this system produces valid values.

Abstract

Uda Fajri store is a shop that provides ingredients in making cakes, which is located in the warrior market, west bekasi. In this shop the management of goods carried out is still manual and not yet affordable by technology. In terms of recording incoming goods and when making transactions. Then to overcome this problem the development of "Inventory Management Information System with ReactJs and React Native Using Prototype". In the development of this system uses the react reacts framework to develop websites and native react frameworks to develop mobile applications. The development of this system uses SDLC prototyping. The development of this system begins with the stages of exploring the study of literature, needs analysis, design, implementation, testing and conclusion. From the results of the needs analysis, 1 actor involved in the system is obtained, namely the admin. Then in the needs analysis and design stages also built a Unified Modeling Language or UML in the form of use case diagrams in which there are use case scenarios, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. Then the system implementation stage is carried out using the reactjs and react native frameworks. After the implementation is complete the developed system is then tested with whitebox testing for unit testing, in this unit testing only 4 main units are tested and produce valid results. Whereas the blackbox testing method is used for validation testing and produces 100% valid data from 15 test cases. From the tests that have been done illustrate that the system can run properly and in accordance with predetermined needs. Then in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test using a questionnaire instrument and Likert scale method, where there are 4 stages of UAT testing from the stage of testing the user's reaction to the system that has a percentage of 80%, the user's reaction to the interface has a percentage of 68%, the user's reaction when operating the system has a percentage of 96%, and user reactions to system functionality have a percentage of 76%.

Abstract

The increasing number of tourist arrivals in Blitar City each year has an impact on the increasing points of tourist sites in Blitar. The fact that there are many tourist attractions in the Blitar region close to the location makes the tendency of tourists to visit several tourist attractions in one travel route . Tourists certainly want the optimal route with the shortest distance for their tour so that they can save time and fuel costs of their vehicles. The problem in determining the route with the shortest distance is that there are many path options that exist between locations because in reality from place A to place B only not only has one pathway. With these problems researchers developed the Location Based Mobile Device Application for Blitar Travel Planning Based on the Shortest Route by using the Traveling Salesman Problem approach to solve this problem. In the design phase it uses the prototyping method so that if there are changes to the design iterations can be carried out for the revision or improvement process. At this stage of testing, it uses validation testing on functional and non-functional requirements and reusability testing using the System Usability Scale Questionnaire. Based on the test results on the development of applications that are valid on functional and non-functional requirements and can be run on several Android devices.

Abstract

Perkemahan Bedengan is a campsite located in the city of Malang. From the interviews that have been carried out it was concluded that Perkemahan Bedengan had problems in promoting the campsite and arranging reservations. Tourists who want to camp also have problems in the form of the difficulty of booking camps and lack of information about campsites. From the results of the interview, it can be concluded that a system of connecting camp managers and tourists is needed. The system was built based on Android Operating System because the Android operating system has controlled more than 90 percent of the smartphone market in Indonesia.Based on the results of the needs analysis, two systems are needed for this research. The first system is a system for campsite managers who can manage campsites and accept or reject orders. The second system is a system for tourists. This system can reserve campsites and provide camp reviews.Based on the results of testing the validity of 22 cases in this system it was found that 22 cases passed the test and were valid. And the usability test results using the USE questionnaire method obtained results in all aspects above 71% and declared Eligible.

Abstract

Outdoor exercise is exercise that is done outdoors. Outdoor exercise is very good for mind and body. The problem that often occurs when it comes to exercising outdoor is bad weather. In addition, we need to pay attention to the right time because the ray of the sun does not always nourish the body. As a result of these problems make people lazy to exercise. Based on this problem, researcher had developed a mobile application that can provide outdoor exercise schedule to the user. Application was developed by using Waterfall method which is one of the approaches to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). In this application Location Based Service (LBS), Dark Sky API, and Android Alarm Manager are implemented. In system testing, researcher used black box and usability testing. The result of black box testing is 100% valid. System Usability Scale (SUS) method was used in Usability Testing which obtained a score of 77. From the result of the score, the application is in the category of acceptability Acceptable, grade C, and adjective rating Good.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country listed at the 61st position of 100 countries in the world based on an English proficiency index value of 50.06 that is below the average value of 53 and Indonesia is placed in the low category. This is because English learning is currently not going well. English learning can be done by using teaching strategy which is learning through educational games using electronic devices for learning words in English. In addition, statistical data show that the majority of the public is using an Android-based mobile application. Therefore in this research, the development of educational game for children through Android-based mobile devices is called Reado application. The development of this application was carried out by using the design sprint method that were tested on children from the social activities of the Katalis Pendidikan Community which consisted of 22 children. From the application of the design sprint method, based on the result of the black box testing that is 10 tests of the functional requirements have passed and have been verified, so it is stated that the Reado application has fulfill user's specific needs. In addition, based on the results of usability testing from grades 1 to 6, the results obtained that the value of the efficiency aspect has an average of 93.5% which is "good", the value of the effectiveness aspect is 0.06 which is "very good" and the value of the user satisfaction aspect 80.37 which is "good".

Abstract

Mental health is now a problem that cannot be underestimated. Even mental health is now a problem faced by many countries in the world, including Indonesia. Depression is a major cause of mental health problems. Depression affects 4.4% of the world's population and 5% of the population in Indonesia. In addition to the high number of people with depression, another problem in Indonesia is the lack of available mental health professionals such as counselors and psychiatrists. Therefore, the use of mobile-based systems can be done to connect people who have problems with the nearest counselor to get first aid in the problem. The implementation of mobile application development in this study was developed on the iOS platform using the Swift programming language. The research method used is an iterative waterfall model consisting of needs analysis, system design, system implementation, and testing. Testing in this study consisted of blackbox testing and usability testing. In the blackbox testing the researchers designed a testcase scenario to assess the correct system behavior while to get the comfortability level of the application developed using the SUPR-Qm instrument. The test results on Blacbox Testing stated 100% valid of all designed testcases. For the usability test results obtained 69.25% for patient applications and 74.75% for counselor applications, then if converted to usability rating scale produces an ok category for patient applications and good for counselor applications.

Abstract

The problems happen in a restaurant for serving customers are too diverse. Many of restaurants in Malang are still just giving the menu list manually to the customers, that the restaurant should print the updated menu. Besides, ordering in a restaurant is still just using paper, that the customers should write the menu manually to order, and give it back to the restaurant waiters. The impact is that it can take too much time and costs more energy to the waiter as well as handling the restaurant menu ordering, even if there are so many customers should be served. Based on those problems, the writer wants to make an application that can handle restaurant food ordering queue management, hopefully this application could automate queue system in a restaurant. This application is built with following Agile methodology implementing Scrum framework, because the requirements are still developing within the application development. The result of this research was focused to solve the problems as well as simplify the queue management process and menu ordering in a restaurant. The researcher would also test the system with validation and usability test. The usability test was done for determining the usability level as the customers view point. For the result, validation testing states that the validations for every sprint is valid and usability testing states that the usability value for customers application got 82,25% score belonging in an B category with adjective rating excellent, whereas the application for restaurant operator got 96.25% belonging as an A category with adjective rating best imaginable.

Abstract

According to survey about restaurant visitors, 41% respondents claim that the crowded restaurant is a problem when visiting a restaurant. Others also declare that information about restaurant crowd is necessary before coming to a restaurant. Although that problem is already solved by Google Maps Popular Times, the feature still has weak point. The feature only works on popular places and requires a large set of data to estimate the crowd level. In this research, a system named RestoCrowd is developed to test a method used to estimate restaurant visitors with minimum dataset and efficient power consumption. The system is consisted of an Android-based applicationa and a web service to aggregate the crowdsourced data. The Black-box testing states that the proposed system already satisfies the system requirements. The power consumption testing states that the background service used to detect devices only uses 0,6668 mAh at most (2 mAh in an hour). The proposed system has an average accuracy of 80,63% from 83 data samples for training and 12 data samples for testing.
