Abstract

At the beginning of the admission of freshman year in 2018 there are at least 22,867 freshmen who will study in Malang City. One of the obstacle experienced by freshmen is the difficulty of finding a suitable place of worship. In 2014 there were 568 mosques, 1091 musalas, 92 churches for Christians, 20 churches for Catholics, five temples, eight temples, and one temple in the city of Malang. Lack of information regarding places of worship such as location, prayer schedules, speaker schedules, and public transportation routes makes it difficult for freshmen to find locations of nearby places of worship, what public transportation to ride, or places worship accordingly. So, in this research a system was developed to provide information regarding location, worship schedule, speaker schedule, and public transportation routes at places of worship using location-based services (LBS), Google Maps API and built on the native android platform. The results obtained from the development of an Android-based application, obtained 20 functional requirements and one non-functional at the requirement engineering stage. System implementation is carried out with the MVC concept (Model-View-Controller), unit testing produces 100% valid from six test cases, validation testing produces 100% valid from 38 test cases, and compatibility testing produces 100% valid on android versions 5 and 9.

Abstract

The Javanese have a unique writing culture called Javanese script or hanacaraka. However, few Indonesian people, especially the Javanese who know and can read Javanese script. The role of the East Java Provincial Government is to establish Javanese subjects that will be used as local content subjects in madrasas and schools to preserve them based on the East Java Provincial Governor Regulation number 19 in 2014. In this study developing applications for learning to read Javanese script using speech recognition that is implemented on smartphones that utilize the Android speech recognition library that functions to convert sound into text. SDLC prototyping will be used in the development of the application. Then the features available in the application are learning and training features so students can know and be able to read Javanese script. The results of validation testing are that all system requirements are in accordance with functional requirements. Then in accuracy testing the system gets a value of 85% which means the answer will be the picture that was tested on the problem in accordance with the Javanese script material. In usability testing, the average value of testing is 71.79, which means that this application has acceptable user acceptance, has a good rating, and grade C.

Abstract

Customer responses is very important for a company.The better and faster services provided to customers, the more positive responses will be received by the company. This is called a “public good” and PLN Malang City Rayon is trying to implement it by implementing a Customer Complaint Service System at the PLN Malang City Rayon office. This Customer Complaint Service System was created to help shorten time of Malang City PLN Rayon employees in resolving complaints made by customers. The research method is by plunging directly to survey the PLN Malang City Rayon to get information about what needs are needed by the Customer Complaint Service System. Using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the identification phase, analysis phase, design phase, implementation phase and trial phase. Testing is done by survey using questionnaires to determine the level of efficiency and effectiveness of the performance of employees of PLN Malang Malang City when before and after the implementation of Customer Complaint Service Systems. So it was concluded that this customer complaint service system facilitates and helps employees to process customer complaint data more quickly, efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Mountain climbing activities in Indonesia have been around for a long time, this activity includes outdoor activities that are full of risks, even some mountains have difficulty levels and special equipment is needed to climb it, but it is not uncommon for accident cases to occur, caused by ignorance and unconsciousness of the activists will be faced with risks, so as not to make maximum preparation, with this application climbers can manage time management, accommodation and logistics for the smooth and safe mountaineering. This application was developed on Android mobile devices using the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method to determine climbing routes based on criteria for terrain difficulties, climbing time and number of visitors. In this application available information on estimated costs, logistics information and directions to the ascent base camp location using latitude and longitude from the Google API. The results of the blackbox test on this application show that the functional features are 100% valid, in addition to the blackbox testing, usability testing is also done to find out the usefulness of the application through a questionnaire to users that shows 83.9011% and the results of validation algorithms that show the algorithm are well implemented.

Abstract

Scientific paper is a work created and presented in scientific form on a scientific media. The Information Application for Student Scientific Paper Contest or Berlaga aims to facilitate the search for information scientific paper competitions, facilitate the committee in promoting the competition they hold. User Experience is a perception and response that user achieve from using system or product, this perception and response include emotion, faith, perception choice, physic response, psychological, behavior, and that's achieved by user from before using, using it, and after using it, Human-Centered Design is a method inside the sistem design that have purposes which is, making interactive sistem that focused to the system utilization, human factors application, or even ergonomic aspect that have function to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction. After being tested with usability testing for Berlaga application, the result is 96.5% and categorized as very good or the value is above 80%, the detail is 100% for effectiveness aspect, 100% for efficiency aspect, and 89.75% for satisfaction aspect. For the UEQ test, the value for the scale of attractiveness 2.38, perspicuity 2.46, efficiency 2.25, dependability 2.40, stimulation 2.18, and novelty 2.30, categorized as excellent with 10% best average from interval UEQ benchmarck.

Abstract

Travel services is one of services that people need to travel and now many companies have open travel services. But problems arise for passengers and Ladju Travel, namely passengers who do not know the location of the travel car. In addition, another problem is the way Ladju Travel in resolving the Traveling Salesman Problem problem is still using manual methods so that the order of pickup and delivery is not good. To solve this problem, an Android-based travel passenger pickup and delivery application was developed. This application is divided into three, there are applications for drivers, passengers and management. Application development use the Waterfall model and for requirement modeling and design use the Unified Modeling Language. Traveling Salesman Problem using Greedy algorithms. Applications was tested using Black Box Testing and Usability Testing. Black Box Testing will also be perform on Compatibility Testing. Black Box Testing carried out on all functional requirements produces valid status for all functional on three different Android versions, namely version 5.0-5.1 (Lollipop), 6.0 (Marshmellow), and 7.0-7.1 (Nougat). The result of Usability Testing that use the System Usability Scale questionnaire is 78.75 score for the application for passengers, 69 score for the application for the driver and 70 score for the application for management. These results are above the minimum average score of 68.

Abstract

The success of the software depends on the selection of needs that are prioritized properly. Priority needs are considered as one of the most important approaches in the process of needs engineering. needs prioritization is used to determine the bookings or the schedules to carry out the needs based on their priorities or interests with respect to the stakeholders' point of view. There are various techniques and methods that have been proposed by the researchers. In this study, the researcher applies the priority method proposed by Jim Azar, Randy K. Smith, and David Cordes to prioritized the software needs which only use a core business value. The Value-Oriented method Prioritization is a method that emphasizes the main business value in the process of determining the priority, using an ordinal scale according to how important the business in the company is. the risk of the business carried on by the company is also identified and given a positive value for weighting the business core, while a negative value for weighting the risk. This application has been tested for functional and non functional requirements, functional requirements using black-box testing, namely validation testing, and white box testing, namely unit testing and integration and non functional requirements using compatibility testing with the help of sortsite software with the result of not getting critical issues in many browsers and acuuracy testing, so it can be concluded that it gets a valid results.

Abstract

In general, when a patient needs emergency blood, a family member or friends tries to get a blood depending on the availability from the hospital where the patient is treated, to contact the Palang Merah Indonesia, post via social media, or contact the family and friends. Meanwhile PMI as a provider of blood supply is still often experience a lack of 1 million blood bags each year. In addition, asking for emergency blood through social, the results are not optimal because information on social media has been mixed with other information. The technique used in this study is waterfall model.The Application distributes emergency blood information using push notification. The push notification is used to provide a real time notification to the donor's mobile device when a blood matches the patient's blood, while the haversine formula is used to get the closest donor. The results of unit testing and validation testing method show the validity of the application is fulfilled according to the functional requirements that have been designed. based on the results of usability testing using USE, the system has fulfilled all the factors that affect usability in terms of usefulness, ease of use and satisfaction with index the average percentage is 93,12% so the system is easy to use and can used by users. And based performance testing of 8 test cases produces an average of 1,375 seconds, these results indicate the system meet the real time criteria.

Abstract

Laziness in children often arises due to lack of motivation in doing something. In psychology, studies state that laziness in children arises due to the absence of habits in regular learning. To increase motivation, parents need to give a gift so that children have the will to do something. This is done to start getting children used to doing things. The provision of daily activity is a tool to get children used to doing daily activities. This research uses the Waterfall software development method. The method is chosen because the functional requirements of the system have been defined from the beginning and have no change. Tests conducted on the Daily Quest application are validation, usability, and compatibility testing. In validation testing results in a 100% success rate. Usability testing results in a success rate of 82.8% for the parent system and 91.6% for the child system. The system usability scale (SUS) method produces an average value of 66 in the parent system, classifying it into the C grade category, which is marginal. Whereas in the child system produces an average value of 73, classified into the category grade B- that is acceptable. In system compatibility testing, the Daily Quest application can only run well on Android Lollipop 5.0 (API level 21 or greater).

Abstract

The majority of traffic accidents that occur are caused by human error, one of which is drowsy. When drowsy, the driver's concentration tends to decrease, so it can cause loss of control over the vehicle, this can lead to traffic accidents. Therefore, there's a need for a solution that can prevent traffic accidents caused by drowsiness. Based on these problems, the author offers a system that can detect driver drowsiness, so if the driver is drowsy, he can be given a warning immediately. This system is an Android based application that uses heart rate data to detect drowsiness. To obtain heart rate, this application is using the heart rate monitor sensor on the smartwatch which the driver must wear. In its development, this application is designed using Object Oriented Design (OOD) approach and implemented using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) method. Black box, accuracy, and usability are tested. Black box testing result shows that this application has 100% validity rate, based on accuracy testing conducted on five respondents, this application has 86,3% accuracy rate, showing that this application can detect the respondents' drowsiness accurately, whereas based on usability testing, this application has 83,5 score which means it got B (Excellent) rate.
