Abstract

PKN STAN is an official higher education under the Financial Education and Training Agency (BPPK), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, which organizes Diploma Study Program education in the field of state finance. To support academic activities, the academic portal is used as the main tool. However, there are various problems on the student academic portal that disrupt academic activities. From these problems a usability evaluation is carried out using the think aloud method to find out the problem. From the problems found, recommendations for improving the user interface are given which will be re-evaluated to find out the comparison of the evaluation results. This study produced qualitative data, namely user feedback and quantitative data, in the form of assessments of three aspects of usability, namely effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. The results of the qualitative comparison evaluation showed that the improvements made received more positive responses but there were still negative responses such as the need for adjustments to the improvements and components used. For quantitative results, the effectiveness level increased by 9.5%, the efficiency level increased by 2%, and the average value of user satisfaction increased by 21.4.

Abstract

PT Martina Berto Tbk is a manufacturing, marketing, research and development company within the Martha Tilaar Group. Currently, the company has implemented systems and information technology in support of corporate operations carried out by the Corporate IT department. However, there are some deficiencies in the application, especially in terms of security, such as security incidents that often arise and attacks to the corporate servers. To prevent these things from happening again, it is necessary to know how far the governance of the company's information technology security system by conducting an evaluation, because with the evaluation, recommendations in the form of what actions should be done can be generated, so that security incidents won't happen again. The research was conducted to determine the Capability Level on governance of information technology security systems in PT Martina Berto Tbk using COBIT 5 framework process domain APO13 and DSS05. The research data were obtained from interviews, questionnaires and observations. The results show the Capability Level on the process domain APO13 and DSS05 are at level 1, while the desired Capability Level in both process domains is level 2, leaving a gap of 1. After knowing the current and desired Capability Level, then made a recommendation based on SWOT analysis. Recommendations are given such as the establishment of a special unit of information security, making documents related to the management and enhancement of information security and information security risk plotting, making operational standard documentation of security services as well as updating technical information technology and monitoring on a regular basis.

Abstract

E-commerce is an online market which has develop rapidly and has changed the business pattern by using internet as the useful communication tool. Mister Aladin is one of e-commerce in form of booking hotels site under MNC Media Investment Group. As one of the new e-commerce, it needs an evaluation to evaluate the factors which could affect customers' satisfaction while they accessed Mister Aladin. To evaluate customers' satisfaction, service quality become the main focus which affect customers' satisfaction. Some of researchers argue that the higher the quality, the more customers will get satisfied. To evaluate customer's satisfaction, it needs an accurate method and tool like WebQual 4.0. Based on this problem, this research focus on the effect of website quality toward customers' satisfaction. After doing the test from the evaluation of Mister Aladin's customers using WebQual 4.0, the data will be analyzed using linear regression analytics. As a result, website quality which consist of usability, information quality and service interaction quality is significantly affect customers' satisfaction of Mister Aladin. The effect of the quality which given by Mister Aladin will affect customers' satisfaction. As shown from the positive relation between independent variabel and user satisfaction variable.

Abstract

PT.East Java Liberty Coy is one of the subsidiaries of Java Pos Group which is engaged in print media. In running the business process there are several problems that have the potential to disrupt the course of business activities. Unoptimal processes on PT.East Java Liberty Coy include data storage is not integrated or fragmented which can cause data duplication, data loss due to human error. So it is necessary to analyze the business processes that have been applied, and then evaluated to determine the business processes that have the potential to disrupt the course of organizational activities in order to provide recommendations in the form of business process improvement recommendations. This research uses Business Process and Notation notation (BPMN) and Business Process Improvement (BPI) as evaluation method. Method Business Process Improvement applied in this research from phase 1: organizing improvement, phase 2: understanding the process and phase 3: streamlining. From the simulation results The current business process and business process recommendations are found that the level of time analysis of business process renewal contract advertising recommendations obtained the effectiveness of time up to 82.46%. So it can be concluded that business process improvement can improve the performance to be more efficient and effective, hence the recommendation of this business process is important to be applied to PT. East Java Liberty Coy.

Abstract

Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) is one of the example bank which applied the internet banking technology as the additional service to increase customers’ experience in online transaction via internet, which through BSMNet service. The application of BSMNet is one of BSM’s commitment form in order to give a better service, and next it could be felt and evaluated by the customers who has used it. This evaluation could affect the satisfaction level of customers. To measure customers’ satisfaction, it needs a precise tool, using E-S-Qual and E-Resc-Qual method for example. From this problem, the researcher do the test toward the effect of internet banking service quality which offered by BSM to know customers’ satisfaction and also the customers’ loyalty. This test is using E-S-Qual and E-Resc-Qual method with linear regression analytics. The researcher used Bank Syariah Mandiri’s customers in Cilacap area who used BSMNet Internet banking as the respondent sample. The result of this test shows that customers’ satisfaction is significantly affected by all of the variables of E-S-Qual and E-Resc-Qual (efficiency, fulfillment, system availability, privacy, responsiveness, compensation, contact), meanwhile customers’ satisfaction is partially affected by fulfillment and efficiency. The effect of this satisfaction will affect the customers’ loyalty of using BSMNet internet banking service.

Abstract

Radio Kalimaya Bhaskara require a system that can segmentation their customer to identify potention and characteristic of each customer using LRFM (Length, Recency, Frequency, Monetary) method. Development of customer relatioship management system using system development life cycle v-model to implement 13 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirementresulting from elicitation process. Result of software design including sequence diagram, class diagram, design of database, design of interface, and calculation of LRFM value from transaction data. Implementation of software design using programming language PHP and MySQL as database management system. Testing technique on system including unit testing , integration testing, system testing, acceptance testing and security testing.Unit testing perform to 2 function unit and give an output that those function unit are easy to understand, easy to test and can easily to implement. Integration testing perform to 2 function unit and give a result that match with expected result, so it can be said valid. System testing perform to 13 functional requirements and the result match with expected result, so it can be said valid. Acceptance testing explain that stakeholder have approved all functions that have been provide on system. Security testing perform SQL Injection testing to login from and succeed. The comparison results of manually LRFM calculation and through the system give the same customer segmentation results.

Abstract

GN-OTA Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on funding education for underprivileged school-aged children. GN-OTA is now experiencing a decline in the number of donations since apart from the foundation of the Foster Parents National Movement. To help overcome these problems, an information system was developed to raise donations and publications for GN-OTA foundation. The author proposes the development of this information system based on the phenomenon of e-charity, online fundrising or donations made via the internet which is quite successful in increasing social sensitivity in the community. The development of this system utilizes the Iterative development model with an object oriented approach. This system applies the concept of MVC (Model View Controller). Meanwhile, the tests performed are functional tests based on white-box and black-box testing models. Functional test shows good results, visible from the valid results for each test scenario. In addition to functional testing, the authors also tested the non-functional aspects of performance by using the tool YSlow. YSlow is an online tool that can test and assess system performance. YSlow gives a pretty good result C for average performance for donation page. However, in terms of the minimum HTTP request test matrix, this system still need improvement.

Abstract

Nowadays medical data management is done manually has been made to be automatic with information system to accelerate work process of health practitioner in obtaining medical data. Midwife Practice Mandiri is currently performing medical records of patients using manual methods so that business processes that are running currently less than optimal. The development of information systems technology today should be utilized by midwives to be able to help maximize performance on their services. To create a system in this research used Enterprise Architecture Zachman Framework and Business Process Improvement method in order to analyze in advance the existing business process for further improvement. This research will use 3 perspectives from 6 perspectives that exist in Zachman Framework. After that performed the implementation of a prototype Medical Record Information System Bidan Practice Independent which is a representation of the proposed business process. The tests were performed using black-box testing method, and fit / gap analysis. The result of this research is a medical record information system that can assist midwife performance in speeding up service and making recap of service result. Benefits provided that will speed up the nets of existing business processes by implementing an information system.

Abstract

Office of Population and Family Planning Control (DPPKB) Jombang District have a duty to run a program of Family Planning services in Jombang, which is assisted by the Family Planning Field Officers (PLKB). PLKB is responsible for data collection on family planning in every sub-district every month. However, the reporting process was manually, as a result, the process of recording the report is also hampered while the report must be sent to The National Population and Family Planning before the 15th of each month and when it is late DPPKB Jombang district will be marked red and this affects the evaluation of the official performance appraisal. If viewed from the above problems, it required analysis and design of information systems of reporting family planning data collection that can improve the efficiency of the reporting process. In this study, the stages of analysis and design of information systems using Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) approach and consistency design evaluation in the form of Requirements Configuration Structure and Decision table. This study resulted in the current business process model and the proposal, the list of user needs, features, list of system requirements, use case modeling, system design and consistency evaluation. Evaluation of the consistency from defining requirements generate value requirement consistency index (RCI) of 100%, which means defining the needs of the system is consistent and for evaluation of the consistency of the design artifacts lead to the conclusion that the artifact has been a consistent system design.

Abstract

Perdana Group is a taxi service provider that have launched a mobile application for online taxi booking in an attempt to compete with its competitor. The Perdana Taxi application was created with interface for taxi users dan drivers to ease the process of ordering taxi service. However the usability of both application interfaces itself have not been measured, therefore an usability evaluation was needed in order to measure the usefulness of the applications. The evaluation was also aimed to search for any usability problem in the applications. WEBUSE method was used to measure the usability level of both applications from their users, and search for any existing difficulties faced by their users by using the task scenario and a questionnaire which summarized from four usability variables. In order to explore the usability problems experienced by the users, an analysis was conducted based on questionnaire, testing, and evaluation results. Heuristic evaluation was also conducted to support the WEBUSE result and further dig through usability problems in the applications by using Nielsen heuristic by appointed evaluators. Result shows that overall, both application interfacess have “GOOD” usability level even though there are some problem related to content, button and in application navigation. Some heuristic principal was also violated on both applications that most related to error prevention. Usability problems found on both evaluation then was given improvement recomendations to increase the usability level.
