Abstract

Quest Travel Indonesia is a travel agency company in Indonesia for French tourists. During the operational practices, problems arise when recording tour program bookings which is recapitulated become roadbook report. The operational process that takes days and often occurs of human error. Besides that, the problems on the process of monitoring tour that rely communication by phone and documentation of monitoring are not really definite. Based on these problems, a roadbook information system web-based using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) to help fix the company's business process. By implementing the RUP, the problem solving process can be done well because the iteration process repeats on the stages from the beginning to the end of the system development that could minimize errors in the system while being developed. The result of this study is a roadbook information system tour travel program web-based that has 34 features consisting of 79 functional and 3 non functional requirement. This system passes 3 tests with the black-box testing method that produces valid values ​​on all test items, compatibility testing which results in a number of major and minor issues on several browser, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) which get final score of 93.3% or strongly agree. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the roadbook information system for tour travel programs can improve and support business processes including ease in managing order data recording, monitoring tour travel, and making roadbook reports.

Abstract

The employee payroll calculation of Tugu Hotel Lombok is still less efficient and effefctive. Efficiency and effectiveness improvement could be achieved with presence an information system which can help out calculation process. Research on development of payroll information system is to produce an prototype information system that could give efficiency improvement and reduce human error on employee payroll calculation. Res analysis done using unstructure interview method. After did res analysis and literature study, do development process use RUP method. Inception phase will be modeled the as-is business process and to-be business process, feature, functional and non-functional requirement. In elaboration phase deliver UML diagram like use case diagram as a reference to modeling some diagram else like activity diagram and sequence diagram. The result of analysis class diagram as reference to physical data modeling. Analysis and designing using object oriented method (OOA/D). in construction phase is developing system using OOP method approach. After develop the system according by design before, next step is carried out test the system. Testing use database testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing methods. Database testing done on construction phase. In transition phase is done compatibility testing and validation testing. Database testing and validation testing is done on main features of this system, and compatibility testing is done to find out feasibility system in different environment. The test result claim that information system run according by requirements and could used easily by the users.

Abstract

Tazkia International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) is a religious-based non-formal school that implement a boarding system. The student report making process at Tazkia IIBS is done using a module called the teacher kit that used by the teacher to record their student's academic scores. Academic scores that have been recorded into the teacher kit must be reported to academic section every three months to get verified. At the end of the semester, the scores will calculated and assessed by the teacher to create the student report cards. All this processes considered to be less efficient because it requires a long time and a long stage to create a student report card. With these problem, a solution is needed, one of which is by developing a Student Academic Information System. In this research, it was explained the developing process of Student Academic Information System on Tazkia IIBS, that aimed to dealing with the student report cards making process issue. The development of this information system is using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method. RUP method is an object-based system development method consisting of four stages, namely inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. This method was chosen because it is able to carry out an iterative development process and allows to handle the requirement changing. The system which has been developed, is tested using validation testing with valid result on all test cases, as well as compatibility tasting was performed to tests the non-functional requirement of the system with some minor issue in several web browsers. The user acceptance testing generated acceptance rate of 67% which indicate that the system has been built properly.

Abstract

Within the Ministry of Communication and Information (KOMINFO), there is one system called "Sistem Layanan Aptika Terintegrasi" in the e-Business Application Services Sub-Sector, which serves to bridge the services provided by KOMINFO to its stakeholder. With the amount of important data in the service, management of information security is needed to support the business processes of the organization, and ensure that all data in the system is secured so that it can reduce the potential losses that can arise. To improve the quality of the information security, it is necessary to do an evaluation and analysis in order to find out the current conditions of information security management. This study uses the COBIT 5 framework as one of the frameworks for evaluating information technology governance in specific domains for information security, namely DSS05 (Manage Security Services), APO13 (Manage Security), and EDM03 (Ensure Risk Optimisation). By using COBIT 5, organizations can find out the capability level of each process and its gap level of the desired conditions. After knowing the gap level of each processes, recommendation are given to focus on detailing standards and procedure, improving documents regarding the duties and roles of each party, as well as increasing awareness regarding information security and risk optimisation.

Abstract

This study scrutinized the partial and simultaneous effect of electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM) on Instagram towards visiting interests. EWOM is a form of marketing communication with positive or negative statements made by customers or former customers about products or companies to share their experiences on the internet. There are five EWOM variables used in this study, namely Concern for Other, Expressing Positive Feelings, Economic Incentives, Helping the Company and Platform Assistance. This study specifies the Instagram account “Amazing Malang”, which is an online media promotion strategy for tourists in Malang aiming to provide effective and efficient tourist information to increase visiting interest. The data collection used simple random sampling technique by distributing online questionnaires to Amazing Malang followers, namely 125 respondents who had been taken the awareness thereof. This research is classified as explanative statistical research using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of simultaneous analysis, EWOM has a positive influence on the interest in visiting Malang by visiting Amazing Malang's social media. While based on the results of the partial analysis, the Expressing Positive Feelings and Helping the Company variables drove significant influence on visiting interest.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Batu is a government agency that has the task of carrying out regional authority in the field of ICT management. Based on the results of the interview found several problems such as there is no complete documentation and does not yet have a standardized standard on several IT governance processes and lack of optimal human resource management, so that such problem management and allocation of costs do not have clear process steps. In order for existing IT management to be in accordance with organizational goals, an IT evaluation is needed to find out the solutions to existing problems. In this study discussed the evaluation of IT governance using the COBIT 4.1 framework with the focus of the DS and ME domains. The purpose of this study is to measure the current maturity level values ​​that can determine the current state or position of the organization to then be able to provide recommendations for improvement to achieve the expected maturity level of the organization's position based on the results of analysis conducted from the results of data collection. From the calculation of the assessment sheet filled by respondents based on the RACI Chart, the average value of the DS domain is 1.62 and the ME domain is 1.75. The recommendation given is to make a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in every existing IT process, conduct complete documentation with standard formats related to handling problems and disseminate information and communicate the existing processes to all staff involved actively, so that the management of IT governance is there can be stable and controlled.

Abstract

The Ministry of Health Surabaya Polytechnic (Poltekkes) is an educational institution of professional staff in health sector under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted, information technology in Poltekkes still has some deficiencies in its application. The problem is found when the relationship between Polytechnic and third parties as system maker is not good because the third parties often unresponive to the requests for improvements to the existing systems. This was caused by a lack of detailed agreement made by both parties. With a number of problems arose, evaluation is needed to get a solution to the problem. The purpose of holding this evaluation is to measure and determine the maturity level of the Surabaya Polytechnic and find out the analysis gap of current governance conditions. This evaluation uses COBIT 4.1 which focuses on the domain of Deliver and Support (DS) and Monitor and Evaluate (ME). After the evaluation is held, the result of DS domain maturity level has an average value of 1.41 and Monitor and Evaluate (ME) has an average value of 2.5. From these results, a recommendation is given, the Polytechnic needs to carry out monitoring related to the contract documents that have been made whether they are running accordingly or not. Furthermore, which arise and contain agreements, the third parties will be responsible when there are problems. IT services are made and guarantee from the business processes are not interrupted during the occurrence of a problem. The Polytechnic also needs to take note of the problems that arise when collaborative relationships are made.

Abstract

Badan Aksesibilitas Telekomunikasi dan Informasi (BAKTI) is a work unit under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology which is tasked to provide wider telecommunications access services, especially in 3T areas, namely Remote, Outermost and Left behind areas. BAKTI has many priority programs, one of programs is the construction of the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) project. After the construction of the BTS is carried out, the performance of BTS device is monitored by using the PRTG application managed by the NMS work unit, while the service users are the BTS component providers. In its implementation, it was found that there were a number of sites that had a difference in the value of avaibility between the values stated in the PRTG BAKTI and the value stated on the PRTG of the component providers. Therefore, this study aims to determine the causes of problem and evaluate service management of the NMS work unit that manages the service. This evaluation uses the ITIL V3 framework that using the Service Operation domain. From the results of the research that has been done, the maturity value obtained is 1.93 or at level 2. From the NMS unit also wants the maturity level to reach a value of 2.76 or at level 3. Therefore, to achieve the desired expectation value, the research resulted in 21 recommendations to improve and fulfill the shortcomings of the NMS BAKTI unit management.

Abstract

Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil of Malang is a government agency that functions for population problems in Malang. In the implementation Dispenduk Capil of Malang has several problems related to the submission of population administration and reporting of population data conducted by the village/kelurahan. Submission of population administration has several problems such as the process of submitting a population administration requiring a relatively long time because the process is quite complicated. This is because the community must go through a series of processes starting from the village/kelurahan, kecamatan level and ending up in the dispenduk capil, the number of queues that occur every day, and the extent of the malang district area can be make long distance to came Dispenduk Capil of malang, so the community must have pay the expensive transportation. The process of reporting population data has several problems, i.e. the absence of uniformity of report formats, which makes it difficult to manage reports and the frequent delays in sending reports. Based on these various problems, the solution that can be applied is to create an information system for reporting population data collection. The system was developed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with the initial phase of inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. The system development process begins with performing requirements analysis, system design and system implementation. Then the system is tested using validation testing, compatibility testing and usability testing. The test results reveal that the system runs according to the requirements and can be easily used by the user.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) of Batu City is a government agency which focused on informatic technology. In this department, planning and implementation of an IT are handled by the ICT Infrastructure Network and Applications department. From the observations, interviews, and questionnaires, this department have some several problems in management of IT governance asynchronous between planning and implementation of budget management plan, and lack of human resources training for IT users. COBIT 4.1 framework are used in this research, and we focus on the Plan and Organize (PO) and Acquire and Implement (AI) domains. From the measurement of maturity level, we got the average maturity level for PO and AI domains are 1.89 and 1.61. From that, we made some recommendations for improvements based on that result. One of the recommendations is to make an Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents in all services that they handled.
