Abstract

Posyandu is one form of Community Resource Health Effort (UKBM) which is managed and organized from, by, for and with the community in the implementation of health development, in order to empower the community and provide convenience to the community in obtaining basic health services to accelerate the reduction in maternal and infant mortality rates. The lack of public awareness about health problems tends to ignore health problems and does not utilize health services, especially posyandu. Therefore, in supporting the improvement of knowledge and public welfare, health workers play a role in assessing problems that occur and planning health problems through health promotion programs. The people of Legok Village have less awareness and willingness in improving the degree of health and utilization of health services, especially posyandu. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase public understanding of the use of posyandu services in Legok Village. The method of activities carried out in the form of health promotion carried out to solve these problems is by educating about the use of posyandu services. The place of implementation was carried out at the RT 08 house in Legok Village, Jambi City on July 29, 2022, the implementation of community service activities was carried out from March to August 2022 with team members and professional students. There were 11 participants present. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in participants' knowledge by an average of 90%. Community participation needs to be increased in the posyandu program, it is necessary to provide correct and targeted information.

Abstract

Cases of bullying or violence against children in Indonesian schools currently rank second largest after Japan. While the United States itself is under Indonesia. (Indra, 2016). As many as 84 percent of children aged 12 years to 17 years have been victims of bullying (Viva, 2017). The impact on children who experience Bully will cause adverse effects such as reluctance to go to school, decreased learning achievement, tension, bruises or injuries on the body and ask to change schools and so on. One of the efforts that nurses can do is provide health education to students and teachers. One Roof Junior Secondary School is a partner school, which cares about bullying, but has never carried out health education activities on prevention of Bulllying. The target and outcome of this activity to community service is to provide an understanding of the concept of bullying so that it can detect and make prevention efforts both as perpetrators and victims. The implementation method used is survey, observation, interview, discussion, question and answer through giving information about Bullying detection and prevention at the One Roof Junior High School of Suka Maju Village. The target of the Activity is all students and Teachers of One Roof Junior High School in Suka Maju Village, Kec. Mestong Kab. Muaro Jambi. The service activities are carried out starting from preparation, implementation and evaluation within April 24 to May 12, 2018. Before and after health education students are given questions about Bullying, detection and prevention. Students' knowledge about detection and prevention of bullying was measured before and 1 week after counseling. Results of the activity A total of 45 students and 4 teachers participated in the implementation. Most participants considered that health education activities were beneficial for them in early detection and actively made efforts to prevent bullying both as victims and perpetrators among students and teachers.

Abstract

Background: More than 15 million cases of STIs are reported per year. Sexually transmitted infections have become a problem for the government. STIs cause infertility, miscarriage, cervical cancer, impaired vision, brain and liver, contagious to infants, some STIs like HIV / AIDS can cause death. This is not triggered by the lack of sexual education among couples of childbearing age and the links that transmission is difficult to break. Method: This research is a quantitative descriptive design to know the description of knowledge of fertile age couple about sexually transmitted infection at Simpang Kawat Public Health Center of Jambi City. This study was conducted on Juli 2016 with a sample size of 73 respondents. Data were obtained using questioner, analyzed univariat. Results: The results of the research analysis are known from 73 respondents, as many as 35 (47.9%) low knowledge, 38 (52.1%) knowledgeable, knowledgeable high-fertile couples know about people at risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections as much as 52, 1%, knowledge of low fertile couples that is not knowing how to treat sexually transmitted infections and treatment of sexually transmitted infections as much as 61.6% couples fertile age. Suggestion: It is expected that puskesmas officer can do counseling about STD infection at Simpang Kawat Kota Jambi Health Center scheduled

Abstract

Background: Indicators of Healthy Families is an indicator / labeling of the health status of the family. Family declared healthy families if they meet 12 indicators of a healthy family that consists of a family planning program, pregnant women antenatal check (ANC) according to standards, Babies get complete immunization, exclusive breastfeeding infants 0-6 months, growth monitoring Toddler, Tuberculosis Patients according to the standard treatment, patients regularly treated hypertension, severe Mental Disorder Patients treated, there is no family member who smokes, Having Means Water, Using latrines healthy, and A family is already a member of the National Health Insurance (JKN). The purpose of this research is to know the description of indicators of healthy families in the village of Lebak Bandung city of Jambi.Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptively. The samples on this research 65 KK through the technique of "Simple Random Sampling". The data were obtained using a questionnaire of Family Health Profile (PROKESGA). Univariate analysis of data presented in tabular form and narrated by tekstuler frequency.Results: The results showed that the family 44.6%  is a Healthy Family,  50,8% Pre Healthy Families, and  4.6% Unhealthy family.Expected Village Lebak Bandung and health center Simpang Kawat is working together to socialize, and motivate the community in implementing the 12 indicators of Healthy Families, so created a healthy Neighborhood.

Abstract

Background : Stocks to patients with mental disorders can impact both physically and psychologically. The physical impact could occur atrophy in limbs shackled, namely the psychological impact of trauma patients, revenge to the family, was disposed of inferiority and despair, and long appeared symptoms of depression and suicidal ideation. Method : This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive to find out of nursing care to patients of stocks victims. This is a descriptive quantitative research. The population were 22 nurses who works at Arimbi and Beta room. The number of samples were 19 nurses, and taken by total sampling technique.. Data were collected through questionnaire, and were analyzed through univariate analysis. Result :The findings that is;  the assessment was (63.2%), the diagnose was(63.2%), the intervention was (68.4%), the implementation was (63.2%), the evaluation was(52.6%) and the documentation was (52.6%). It is recommended for a mental hospital of Jambi Province that nurses are supported by training, so it is to improve the quality of care delivery in nursing care to patients of stocks victims.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a major cause of morbidity and mortality of mothers and babies in the world. The frequency of occurrence of preeclampsia in Indonesia about 3-10%. In Indonesia preeclampsia, and eclampsia preeklampsi weight is the leading cause of maternal mortality ranges from 15% to 25%, while the infant mortality between 45% to 50%. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of health education on the knowledge and attitudes of preeclampsia pregnant women in Jambi Kota Putri Ayu PHC 2016. This research is a pra eksperimen one group pretest posttest. The population in this study is the first trimester pregnant women in Jambi Kota Putri Ayu PHC as much as 10 pregnant women. Sampling was done by total sampling technique as much as 10 respondents. The data collection was done on August 9 to 30 in 2016 using a questionnaire. The analysis is univariate and bivariate. The results showed that the knowledge of pregnant women before being given health education that nine pregnant women (90%) had low knowledge and health education are given after 6 pregnant women (60%) had low knowledge. The attitude of pregnant women before being given health education ie 7 pregnant women (70%) have a negative attitude and a pregnant woman who has a positive attitude that is three pregnant women (30%) and after given health education is one pregnant women (10%) have a negative attitude , The analysis results obtained There is an effect of health education on the knowledge of pre-eclampsia in pregnant women Jambi Kota Putri Ayu PHC 2016 and health education There is an effect of preeclampsia on the attitudes of pregnant women in Jambi Kota Putri Ayu PHC 2016.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which an toddler has a length and heights are less when compared with age caused by multidimensional factors, namely poor nutritional factors experienced by toddlers, lack of maternal knowledge about health and nutrition, impact on the level of intelligence, susceptibility to disease. This study aimed to determine the correlation of knowledge and mother’s attitude with stunting prevention efforts in toddlers. This is quantitative research by using cross sectional design; it was conducted at the public health center Simpang Kawat Jambi city from February until July 2019. Populations were 881 people with total samples were 87 mother. The sample used proportional random sampling, analyzed as univariate and bivariate by using chi-square test. The findings indicated that from 87 mother, most of the mother (67.8%) have good stunting prevention efforts, most of the mother (65.5%) have high knowledge, most of the mother (64.4%) have good attitude. The result of this study were obtained there is significant correlation between knowledge with stunting prevention efforts in infants where p-value = 0.373 (p>0.05). There is significant correlation between attitude with stunting prevention efforts in toddlers where p-value = 0.030 (p<0.05). It is expected to the public health center Simpang Kawat to stunting prevention efforts carried out primary prevention through health promotion in providing understanding about stunting so that a change of attitude which is expected in achieve optimal health.

Abstract

Patient safety is a system that must be implemented in hospitals. This is done by the government in an effort to prevent patient safety incidents from occurring. Based on the Lumenta report (2008) that in Indonesia from 145 reported incidents of near-injury (KNC) as many as 47.6% cases, unwanted events (KTD) as many as 46.2% cases, and others as many as 6.2% cases. . The KTD rate at Raden Mattaher Hospital in 2016 was 10 cases, increasing to 13 cases in 2017 and decreasing to 7 cases in 2018. Many factors affect the implementation of patient safety, namely internal and external factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the implementation of 6 patient safety goals at Raden Mattaher Hospital Jambi. The design of this study used a cross-sectional study. The number of samples in this study were 80 nurses with proportional random sampling technique. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-square and Wilcoxon tests. The results of the analysis show that the average age is 33.19 years and the length of work is 9.39 years. A total of 71.2% are female, 82.5% have vocational education, 68.8% have sufficient knowledge, 56.2% are positive and 65% of respondents do not apply the 6 patient safety goals. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between age, length of work and attitude with the implementation of the 6 patient safety goals.

Abstract

Nurses who work in hospitals are at high risk of experiencing burnout. A person who experiences burnout will lose the meaning of his job because of a prolonged response to emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion experienced. Burnout is physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion due to being in an emotionally demanding situation. Factors that cause nurses to experience burnout are patient demands, possible dangers in providing nursing care, heavy workloads or pressure when they have to provide a lot of care for many patients during work shifts. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between burnout and coping mechanisms for nurses in the inpatient ward of the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital. This research is a quantitative research using cross sectional method. The sampling technique used is total sampling with a sample of 86 people, the research instrument using a questionnaire was analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The results showed that 55.8% of nurses experienced burnout and 60.5% of nurses had adaptive coping mechanisms. The results of the chi-square statistical test obtained p-value = 0.000. Which means that there is a significant relationship between burnout and coping mechanisms for nurses in the inpatient room of the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital. It is hoped that they can apply more persuasive management by conducting communication forums to discuss problems at work and provide guidance in order to improve the performance of nurses.

Abstract

Covid-19 cases are still increasing, both in the world and in Indonesia. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in March 2021, the total number of confirmed cases in the world reached 122,992,844 positive cases. The updated number of deaths due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the world has reached 2,711,071 cases, and 397,950,709 have received the vaccine. This research is an analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of vaccine status with family anxiety confirmed by covid 19 in Legok Village, Jambi City. The sampling technique was accidental sampling of 83 respondents. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with chi square and product moment . The results of the analysis that the role and being confirmed by covid were not related to anxiety due to covid 19 (0.81), but there was a significant relationship between vaccine status and family anxiety level (0.011). We would like to thank the Legok Village Head who has facilitated this research. It is hoped that the family and family members will get the next vaccine.
