Abstract

Matematika IPA sebagai mata kuliah pendukung agar mahasiswa mampu menggunakan matematika sebagai alat bantu dalam penguasaan materi-materi IPA sangat membutuhkan penilaian dari mahasiswa sebagai pengguna layanan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan pembelajaran Matematika IPA dan untuk mengetahui dimensi dan layanan apa saja yang menjadi prioritas dalam meningkatkan layanan pembelajaran Matematika IPA kedepannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua mahasiswa semester 1 yang mempelajari mata kuliah Matematika IPA salah satu perguruan tinggi di Sulawesi Barat.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitas layanan pembelajaran Matematika IPA secara keseluruhan sudah berkualitas karena rata-rata tingkat kesesuaian layanan yang dialami dan layanan yang diharapkan mencapai 98,07%. Terdapat 5 dari 20 butir layanan yang menjadi prioritas utama perbaikan yang tersebar pada empat dimensi yaitu dimensi keandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, dan bukti fisik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the FitClass mobile application in improving physical activity and learning motivation among senior high school students in Physical Education. The study is motivated by the low levels of student participation in conventional PE learning and the need for technology-based innovations to enhance engagement and outcomes. A quasi-experimental method was employed using a pretest-posttest design involving both experimental and control groups. The research involved 60 Grade XI students from a senior high school, randomly assigned into two groups. The experimental group used the FitClass mobile application over a six-week period, while the control group followed conventional learning methods. Data were collected using physical activity observation sheets and a learning motivation questionnaire. The results indicated a significant increase in both physical activity (p < 0.05) and learning motivation (p < 0.05) in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings suggest that the FitClassmobile application is effective in enhancing physical activity and learning motivation in high school Physical Education.

Abstract

Kompetensi digital menjadi kebutuhan mendasar bagi mahasiswa di era transformasi digital, khususnya dalam menghasilkan produk kreatif yang mendukung kegiatan akademik dan organisasi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital mahasiswa dalam pembuatan e-sertifikat menggunakan Canva dan Google Workspace. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan partisipatif yang melibatkan 40 mahasiswa aktif organisasi kemahasiswaan. Pelatihan terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama: sosialisasi dan pengenalan platform digital, praktik langsung pembuatan desain e-sertifikat, dan implementasi sistem otomasi sertifikat menggunakan Google Sheets dan mail merge. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi digital mahasiswa dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test 42,5 meningkat menjadi 87,3 pada post-test. Mahasiswa mampu menghasilkan desain e-sertifikat profesional dan menguasai teknik otomasi penerbitan sertifikat massal yang efisien. Evaluasi kepuasan peserta mencapai 92% dengan kategori sangat puas terhadap materi, metode, dan relevansi pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memperkuat literasi digital mahasiswa serta mendukung efisiensi kerja organisasi kemahasiswaan dalam pengelolaan kegiatan dan administrasi sertifikat.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) membuka peluang besar dalam inovasi pembelajaran, termasuk di bidang Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (PJKR). Namun, pemanfaatan AI oleh mahasiswa PJKR masih terbatas, khususnya dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa PJKR dalam menggunakan AI melalui teknik prompting untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan relevan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi konsep dasar prompt engineering, praktik pembuatan konten berbasis AI seperti video, infografis, dan modul digital, serta pendampingan dalam penerapan hasil karya. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman langsung bagi mahasiswa dalam mengoptimalkan perintah (prompt) agar AI menghasilkan konten yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran jasmani. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam pemanfaatan AI secara etis dan efektif. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu mendorong mahasiswa PJKR menjadi pendidik yang inovatif dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran modern.

Abstract

Accurate passing is a fundamental skill in soccer, yet delivering individualized, objective, and timely feedback in large physical education classes remains challenging. This quasi-experimental study evaluated the effectiveness of AI-based video feedback on improving passing accuracy among 64 physical education students enrolled in a soccer practicum course. Participants completed pretest and posttest measurements using an adapted Loughborough Soccer Passing Test (LSPT), with six intervention sessions providing personalized visual-numeric feedback generated from smartphone-based pose estimation. Results showed statistically significant improvement from pretest (M = 58.3, SD = 12.7) to posttest (M = 71.8, SD = 11.4), t(63) = 9.84, p < .001, with a large effect size (Cohen's d = 1.23). Instrument reliability was high (ICC = 0.89), and 81.3% of participants achieved minimal detectable change. Students with lower initial scores demonstrated greater absolute gains. Technology acceptance measures indicated high perceived usefulness (M = 4.3/5.0) and ease of use (M = 4.1/5.0). Findings suggest that affordable, smartphone-based AI feedback is feasible and effective for enhancing motor skill acquisition in resource-limited educational settings, though future randomized controlled trials with retention measures are needed to confirm causal effects and long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of applying the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in improving the critical thinking skills of students in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (PJKR) study program. The study uses a quasi-experimental design with two groups: the experimental group, which receives PJBL-AI-based learning, and the control group, which follows conventional learning based on lectures and guided discussions. The results show that the implementation of the PJBL-AI model significantly improves students' critical thinking skills. The experimental group showed an average posttest score increase of 92.3, while the control group experienced only a small increase, with a posttest score of 85.2. The use of AI in project-based learning also enhanced student engagement in discussions, collaboration, and strengthened their reflective critical thinking process. AI technologies such as ChatGPT and Canva AI helped students in designing, evaluating, and formulating arguments in a more systematic and creative manner. These findings suggest that the combination of PJBL and AI is highly effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills in the context of physical education, offering practical solutions for improving learning quality.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and compare the level of daily physical activity of students during online and offline Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning at SMA Negeri 2 Sinjai. The approach used is quantitative with a descriptive comparative design. The sample consisted of 60 students selected purposively, 30 students each from the online and offline learning groups. Data were collected through a physical activity questionnaire modified from the PAQ-A instrument and analyzed using an unpaired t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups, where students in offline learning had a higher average physical activity score (3.45) compared to students in online learning (2.68), with a p value = 0.002. These findings indicate that offline PJOK learning is more effective in increasing students' daily physical activity. This study recommends the development of adaptive PJOK learning strategies so that students remain physically active, especially in distance learning situations.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship and comparison between physical fitness and Body Mass Index (BMI) in college students. A total of 50 students were randomly selected as the study sample. Physical fitness was measured using a series of standardized fitness tests, while BMI was calculated based on the formula of body weight (kg) divided by the square of height (m²). Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to identify patterns of relationships and differences between variables. The results showed that students with a BMI in the normal category had a significantly higher level of physical fitness than students with a BMI in the underweight, overweight, or obese categories. This study contributes to the development of more effective health intervention programs, especially in the context of the student community, to support the creation of a holistic healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe how audiovisual media were utilized to improve elementary school students’ understanding of relay running concepts at SD Negeri 7 Salotungo. The study employed a descriptive qualitative design with a case-study orientation. Data were collected through learning observations, informal interviews with the physical education teacher, and documentation of classroom and field activities. The learning sequence consisted of presenting short audiovisual clips, guided questioning, and immediate relay practice in the school yard. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, while trustworthiness was strengthened through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that audiovisual media helped students understand the sequence of runners, the exchange zone, baton passing techniques, movement timing, and teamwork more concretely. Students demonstrated higher attention during lesson presentation, participated more actively in discussion, and moved to field practice with better readiness and confidence. The combination of video, teacher scaffolding, and contextual practice reduced misconceptions that commonly emerge when relay running is taught only through verbal explanation. The study concludes that audiovisual media function effectively as pedagogical support in elementary physical education when the videos are short, focused, and directly linked to guided practice

Abstract

Passing ability is one of the fundamental skills in futsal that greatly determines the effectiveness of ball control and the success of game strategies. Based on initial observations in the futsal extracurricular activities of SMA Negeri 11 Makassar, it was found that students' passing ability was still low, characterized by a lack of accuracy, tempo, and consistency of passes. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Rondo training model on improving the passing ability of futsal extracurricular students. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a two-group pretest–posttest design. The study sample consisted of 20 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was given treatment in the form of Rondo training for four weeks with a frequency of three times per week, while the control group underwent conventional futsal training. The research instrument was a futsal passing ability test that covered aspects of accuracy, speed, and passing technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed a significant increase in passing ability in the experimental group. The average score increased from 56.25 in the pretest to 65.10 in the posttest, with a t-value of 6.030 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the Rondo training model has a significant effect on improving the passing ability of futsal extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This training model is recommended as an alternative effective training method in futsal coaching at the school level.
