Abstract

I.S (2016). AbstractFraction is one of hard subject of mathematics. Fractional complexity is not only experienced by students, but also students and teachers. They found difficulty to solve any mathematics problems related to fractions due to weak of fraction concept and disspointed learning method. Because teachers in elementary taught them using lecture method through routin algorthm. Teacher began the lessons by given short explanation, then some routin example provided on students’ text book. In the end of the lessons students did some exercise, Edo.I. S (2016). Therefore, students bored to follow all of learning process. Whereas Elly Risman (2008) said that there are three effective ways to teach children i.e. by playing, singing and storytelling. While Mathematics learning approach which assume that mathematics as human activity is Realistics Mathematics Education (RME). Therefore, this study aimed to design simple fraction learning trajectory using RME approach through traditional game namely siki Doka as a context. The Research method used in this research is Design Research which conducted in SDN Angkasa Kupang and SDK. Tunas Bangsa Kupang in the third grade students. The result showed that students were very enthusiastic and enjoy all the learning activities because they learned while playing, drawing, Coloring, cutting and arrange colorful origami paper. Students not only understand the concept of simple fractions, compare simple fractions, and solve problems related to simple fractions as well they are already involved in the activities to found the concept of fractional addition and its multiples.Keyword: Fractional Learning, Concepts of Fraction, comparing fraction, Fractional Learning using RME approach, fraction learning using traditional game.

Abstract

The rapid and massive spread of COVID-19 in the world, including Indonesia, has greatly affected various fields of life, including education. Therefore, in order for the learning process to continue during this pandemic, a strategy is needed to meet educational needs during the pandemic. The online learning process or online (on the network) uses an application that can support distance learning namely google classroom. This of course requires students to be active and critical independently in studying the topics studied in learning activities. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Kupang with a population of all students of class XI majoring in Computer and Network Engineering. Samples were taken as many as 60 students. From the results of the analysis, there is an effect of using google classroom on learning independence as shown in the results of the statistical test, the value of Fcount = 5.74 > Ftable = 2.76 and the value of Sig. 0.002 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected. There is no significant effect of using google classroom on student mathematics learning outcomes, as shown in the results of the statistical test, the value of Fcount = 2.59 < Ftable = 2.76 and sig. 0.61 > 0.05 so that H0 is accepted. There is an effect of using google classroom on independent learning and student mathematics learning outcomes as shown by the results of MANOVA statistical analysis, it is known that the statistical value of the Pillai's Trace test is 0.618 and the value of Fcount = 8.341 > Ftable = 2.18 and the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 so H0 is rejected. And there is an influence between learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes, as shown in the results of a simple linear regression statistical test, it is known that the value of ttable = 2.00172 > tcount = 22.138 so that H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Abstract Mathematics is a science with a broad concept. The breadth of concepts in mathematics, does not rule out the possibility that these concepts are interrelated. For example, in studying linear equations with one variable, students must first know the concept of algebraic operations. This study aims to describe the concept of mathematical connection ability, describe the learning strategies used to improve the mathematical connection skills of junior high school students, and provide an overview of learning designs to improve mathematical connection skills for junior high school students. The method used by the author is a literature review method. Based on the studies conducted, it can be concluded that the ability of mathematical connection is the ability of students to relate between topics in mathematics and then mathematics topics with other sciences or with everyday life. The strategy or model used in learning mathematics is an important part for an educator in planning learning designs that will be applied in the learning process. Therefore, it is important for further researchers to apply existing strategies or models to different materials, so that they can be studied further about students' connection abilities in the learning process. Abstract

This study aims to describe the conception of creative thinking ability in mathematics and describe the application of creative thinking in mathematics learning for students at junior high school. The method used in this paper is literature study, which is carried out by tracing various reference libraries in the form books, and articles/journals. Based on the theories studied, it is concluded that creative thinking ability is the ability to think logically and divergently to generate ideas or various kinds of answers to a given mathematical problem, where a given mathematical problem can be solved with more than one solution and through fluent thinking, flexible, elaborating and having originality in the solution. Creative thinking has an important role in learning process. The application of creative thinking in mathematics learning requires teachers to be able to design learning that is able to open opportunities for the creation and development of students' mathematical creative thinking ability. In the learning design that is prepared, it must involve creative problems that lead students to think creatively so that it can lead to increasing students' creative thinking ability
