Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) on the meaningfulness of learning Islamic religious education. AR tested in this study include Smart Glasses AR (X1), Mobile Augmented Reality Application (X2), and AR in Books (X1). While the learning meaningfulness variable is divided into three indicators by referring to Clark and Daryanes' theory including problem solving (Y1), critical thinking skills (Y2), and learning motivation (Y3). This quantitative research uses multiple linear regression analysis model. Data was collected through a survey of 99 research respondents. The results show that AR has the most significant impact in increasing learning motivation, as its additional elements create an engaging and interactive learning experience. AR's influence on critical thinking ability ranked second, as the technology encourages the development of analytical and evaluative skills. This is due to AR's focus on improving concept understanding and learner engagement in the learning process. In contrast, the least impact of AR was seen on problem-solving ability, where this technology is more likely to increase motivation and concept understanding rather than providing direct solutions to problems. These findings contribute to improving the understanding of how AR can shape more meaningful learning experiences in the context of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Guided by Presidential Instruction Number 3 of 2003 concerning National Policies and Strategies for E-Government Development, in 2018 the Jombang Regency Inspectorate launched the Supervisory Results System (SRS) application. SRS is an information technology-based system designed to facilitate the integrated recording, reporting, and monitoring of follow-up monitoring results, so as to speed up the data-based decision-making process that is more accurate and transparent. This application is used to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of supervision of various aspects of operations, compliance, and internal control. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of SRS applications in optimizing supervision at the Jombang Regency Inspectorate and identify the factors that cause the ineffective implementation of SRS and describe the efforts that have been made to overcome it. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observations, and documentation studies related to the implementation of SRS. The resource persons from this study are auditors and PPUPD. The results show that the use of SRS applications has had a positive impact on increasing transparency, accuracy, and speed of reporting supervision results. The SRS application is designed as a tool to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the supervision process on the performance of local governments. The factors that cause the ineffective implementation of SRS are the limitation of human resources in mastering technology, managers are only good in terms of operations, while in terms of software development, obstacles in handling/security of cyber attacks, network management still cannot be done independently. The SRS application is still intranet-based so auditees cannot access anywhere and anytime. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the capacity of human resources by conducting digital training and strengthening infrastructure to support the implementation of applications more effectively. This research is expected to provide recommendations for the Jombang Regency Inspectorate in optimizing the use of SRS applications to improve the quality of supervision.

Abstract

In Indonesia there are several types of sea transportation, some of which are commonly used for public purposes. Some are only used for certain purposes. The port itself as a sea transportation infrastructure that supports smooth sea transportation has a function that is closely related to social and economic factors. Batu-Guluk Harbour is a ferry port that connects Kangean Island with Madura Island. Lack of passengers, for example the ship has exceeded its load and capacity but the ship's officers sometimes still accept passengers. This study aims to find out how to analyze the policy on sea transportation needs at Batu Guluk Port and to find out what factors support and hinder the process of sea transportation activities at Batu Guluk Port, according to William dunn. The research method chosen in this study uses a qualitative approach, the data collected is in the form of document data, data interviews, data observation, then analyzed using interactive data analysis. The results obtained are: (1) Lack of sea transportation and passenger comfort Sea transportation for passengers cannot be said to be feasible because of the large passenger capacity and the small size of the ship, this is very dangerous with the safety and comfort of passengers. So sea transportation for passengers provided must be added considering the large number of passengers needed by increasing cooperation between shipping companies and also looking for sponsors to be able to meet the shortage of sea transportation to the Kangean Islands, (2) Supporting factors in the process of sea transportation activities at Batu port-Guluk the availability of several workforces used such as laborers who assist in the process of loading and unloading passengers and ship departure times which are always on time and goods while the inhibiting factors in the process of sea transportation activities at Batu-Guluk port are weather, lack of availability of transportation fleets, and shortage of officers counter in serving the purchase of tickets.

Abstract

This study examines the administrative legal implications of the transfer of the High Leadership Position (JPT) from Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Jepara to Head of the Archives and Library Office (Diskarpus), focusing on potential violations of meritocracy, legality, and transparency principles in civil servant management. The research aims to assess the compliance of the transfer process with the provisions of Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No. 15 of 2019 on Open and Competitive Filling of JPT, and to evaluate its impact on the integrity of local government governance. The study employs a normative juridical approach with an analysis of relevant legislation and a case study of the Sekda Jepara transfer. Findings reveal that the transfer was conducted without an open selection process, lacked recommendation from the Civil Service Commission (KASN), and disregarded the evaluation of qualifications and competencies as mandated by the merit system. These findings indicate violations of the principles of good governance, particularly legality, due diligence, and protection of civil servants’ rights, potentially leading to maladministration and reduced public accountability. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening external oversight by KASN, enhancing regulatory understanding among personnel authorities, and comprehensive reform of transfer governance to ensure legality, transparency, and accountability.
