Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know about: (1) implementation of character education on student of Skills Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta; (2) the results of implementation of character education on student of Skills Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. This research used descriptive qualitative method and the design used single case study at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. Research subjects were students of Skills Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta, as many as 316 students. The research sample as many as 11 students for interview and 87 for questionnaire. Sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentary method. Testing of the validity instrument was conducted based on the Pearson's Product Moment Correlation. Reliability test instrument used Cronbach's Alpha. The result of this research were: (1) Principal, Vice Principal of Academy Field, Vice Principal of Studentships Field, Vice Principal of Human Resource Development, Vice Principal of School Public Relations Field, Guidance Counselor Teachers and Productive Teachers of Skill Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta has implemented a character education systematically to students, especially students of Skill Competency Light Vehicle Engineering, which is a lesson plans and syllabus; (2) implementation of character education is also conducted continuously by the teacher SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta in the form of 3S Program, the training and education of VEDC Malang, P3G Bandung, P4TK Bandung and from the Provincial of Central Java; (3) implementation of character education through co-curricular activities and extracurricular; (4) results showed that students' character of Skill Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta average is 77.46%. Students of Skill Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta has good character. In addition, there are students who have not been well characterized because it is not strong in having some of the main characters, such as Responsibility and Self-Discipline characters; (5) condition students of Skill Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta who do not already have eight main characters have a low level of discipline, lack of initiative, lack of responsibility, and lack of respect for others; (6) condition students of Skill Competency Light Vehicle Engineering SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta which has eight main characters are more disciplined, have initiative, responsible, helpful and growing affection, respect for others and good at gratitude.

Abstract

This research discusses “A Holistic Model for Character Education in Schools.” Character education is considered an important solution to a variety of ongoing moral vulnerability phenomena. It is expected that through education the cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and spiritual aspects in learners can be harmonized. To this end, a holistic model for character education can be applied to learners. This study was carried out using a qualitative approach through library research. The data were collected by documentation technique and later analyzed by descriptive analysis. The research results indicated that character education is a process of positive values internalization in learners for them to possess good character, which comprises cognitive, feeling, and action aspects. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to introduce and internalize life values that are useful for learners to become whole human beings, that is, as individual-social, physical-spiritual, or autonomous-God’s human beings. The holistic character education model can be implemented in schools in an integrated manner across all school subjects. Otherwise put, it can be implemented through the learning process at school on a day-to-day basis.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan di IAIN Pekalongan sebagai usaha untuk menekan penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan kampus. Pembelajaran daring yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran yang menggunakan media-media pembelajaran yang dapat diakeses menggunakan layanan internet. Survei dilaksanakan menggunakan google form yang tautannya disebarkan melalui afplikasi WhatsApp. Mahasiswa sebagai sampel yang memberikan tanggapan terhadap survei yang dilakukan terdiri dari Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam, Prodi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini, Prodi Ekonomi Syariah, Prodi Hukum Keluarga Islam, dan Prodi Tasawuf Psikoterapi. Media elearning yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa IAIN Pekalongan selama pandemi Covid-19 adalah google classroom, e-learning milik kampus, dan whatsapp. Untuk perkulihan tatap muka secara daring menggunakan zoom dan google meet. Durasi penggunaan waktu untuk pembelajaran daring selama pandemi Covid-19 antara 5-6 jam/hari atau setara dengan tatap muka konvensional, ini dapat diartikan bahwa dosen-dosen IAIN Pekalongan melakukan tugas sebagaimana mestinya meskipun dari rumah (work from home). Adapun penyedia jasa internet yang digunakan adalah Indosat, XL, Three, dan Smartfren dengan kuota data internet yang dihabiskan antara 6-10 GB/bulan dan 16-20 GB/bulan. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Daring, Pandemi, Covid-19. Abstract This study uses a quantitative approach with a survei method that aims to obtain an overview of online learning carried out at IAIN Pekalongan as an effort to enforce the spread of Covid-19 in the campus environment. Online learning referred to in this study is learning that uses learning media that can be used using the internet. The survei was carried out using a google form, the link of which was distributed via the WhatsApp application. These samples students consisted of the Islamic Education Study Program, the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program, the Sharia Economics Study Program, the Islamic Family Law Study Program, and the Psychotherapy Sufism Study Program. The e-learning media used by IAIN Pekalongan students during the Covid-19 pandemic were google classrooms, campus-owned e-learning, and WhatsApp. For face-to-face online courses using zoom and google meet. The duration of using time for online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is between 5-6 hours / day or equivalent to conventional face-to-face, this means that IAIN Pekalonga lecturers are doing assignments even from home (working from home). The internet service providers used are Indosat, XL, Three, and Smartfren with internet data quota that is consumed between 6-10 GB / month and 16-20 GB / month. Abstract

Arabic is a subject that has its difficulties for students of Islamic Primary Schools. The majority of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah struggle with reading, writing, and understanding mufradat (vocabularies) in Arabic classes. Among the attempts undertaken to overcome these obstacles is the application of the peer tutoring method combined with short card media in Arabic language learning. This study aimed to determine and analyze the implementation of the peer tutor method integrated with short card media in learning Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The subjects in this study were teachers and students in learning Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The method used qualitative-descriptive. The results showed that the peer tutoring method integrated with short card media was carried out through the following stages: 1) explanation of the objectives and classical learning activities by the teacher, 2) grouping students into teams where some of the students functioned as tutors for the others, 3) learning with the peer tutor method integrated with short cards media that have been provided, 4) observing learning activities, and 5) evaluating learning activities with teachers and students. When employing peer tutoring integrated with short card media, the findings indicate that students showed a higher level of enthusiasm for their participation in the learning process.

Abstract

Some students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) study programs students still have low pedagogical competence. It is deemed necessary to increase the pedagogical competence of prospective PAI teachers, one of which is by implementing a Moodle-based flipped classroom on microteaching. Specifically, this research focuses on 1) how is the implementation of the Moodle-based flipped classroom on microteaching in improving the pedagogical competence of prospective PAI teachers, 2) Describing the effect of the implementation of the Moodle-based flipped classroom on the pedagogical competence of prospective PAI teachers, and 3) Knowing student responses to the implementation of the flipped classroom Moodle-based on microteaching. The results showed that: 1) Implementation of Moodle-based flipped classroom on microteaching at UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan is carried out with e-learning on the http://learning.iainpekalongan.ac.id/ page, 2) Based on the results of the t-test (paired sample test) that the value of t count = [-44,338] or 44,338 while the value of t table = 2.028 so that 44.338 > 2.028, and a Significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 so that 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the implementation of moodle-based flipped classrooms in microteaching courses on the pedagogical competence of prospective teachers, 3) Student responses to Microteaching courses are included in the category very positive, the Moodle LMS is included in the positive category, and the flipped classroom is included in the positive category.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed people's lives in all civilizations and cultures. One of the various and most favorite social media for elementary school children today is the sharing application "Tik-Tok". The use of the "Tik-Tok" application is felt as a means to prevent children from getting bored in between activities. Apart from eliminating boredom, the "Tik-Tok" application also has a big impact on children's character development. This study aims to determine the level of use of the Tik-Tok sharing application in elementary school-age children, to determine the level of character development of elementary-age children, and to determine the impact of using the Tik-Tok sharing application on the character development of elementary school-age children in Klidang Wetan Village, District Batang, Batang Regency. This research approach through a quantitative approach to the type of field research. This research data collection techniques through observation methods, survey methods and documentation methods. The number of samples consisted of 115 students in grades IV, V and VI of SDN Klidang Wetan, Batang District, from a total population of 161. The results showed that the use of the Tik-Tok Sharing Application in Klidang Wetan Village, Batang District, was included in the high criteria. Meanwhile, the level of character development of elementary school children in Klidang Wetan Village is included in the high criteria. In addition, the effect of using the Tik-Tok Sharing Application affects character development. The coefficient (R) obtained from the statistical test is 0.386 and the coefficient of determination R-square is 0.149. In short, the transformative effect of using the Tik-Tok Sharing Application on the character development of Elementary School-aged children is 14.9%, the remaining 85.1% is the influence of other factors.

Abstract

Islamic calligraphy is one of the cultural treasures of the Indonesian archipelago which must be preserved. Learning Islamic calligraphy increases the imagination, creativity and intellectual development of students. Of course, there are not many state school students who are talented in the art of calligraphy compared to private Islamic schools. But this does not mean that they do not have creativity in Islamic calligraphy. This community service activity aims to overcome this. Islamic calligraphy training activities use the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach where the cycle includes KUPAR (to Know, to Understand, to Plan, to Action and to Reflection). This service activity was carried out for students at Wiradesa Public Middle School 2, Pekalongan Regency, for 2 weeks. The result of this community service activity in the form of training in the art of Islamic calligraphy is that Wiradesa 2 Public Middle School students are very enthusiastic in learning to write Islamic calligraphy. This is evidenced by the results of Islamic calligraphy that has been made by students of Wiradesa 2 Public Middle School, their writing is increasingly developing and according to the rules of Islamic calligraphy. With this training, students become confident to develop their creativity and express their imagination in the form of works in the form of Islamic calligraphy.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya prestasi belajar matematika disebabkan karena aktivitas dalam pembelajaran yang masih rendah. Salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar adalah dengan penggunaan chromebook dalam proses Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah: 1) Untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan penggunaan chromebook bermuatan game edukasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika. 2) Untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan penggunaan chromebook bermuatan game edukasi dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan subyek 21 siswa kelas III SD N 1 Tarubatang Kabupaten Boyolali Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika meningkat yakni dari Pra Siklus 28,57%, meningkat pada Siklus I yakni 57,14%, kemudian meningkat lagi pada Siklus II yakni 80,95%. 2) Aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika meningkat yakni dari Pra Siklus 38%, meningkat pada Siklus I yakni 71%, kemudian meningkat lagi pada Siklus II yakni 90%. 3) Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dinyatakan berhasil pada Siklus II karena memenuhi indikator keberhasilan: (a) indikator keberhasilan hasil belajar siswa adalah mendapat nilai ≥ 70 rata-rata kelas adalah 75% tercapai pada siklus II dengan hasil 81%>75%; (b) indikator keberhasilan aktivitas belajar siswa adalah jumlah siswa aktif ≥ 80% tercapai pada siklus II dengan hasil 90% > 80%.

Abstract

Perspektif atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah sudut pandang berupaya menafsirkan segala bentuk pemahaman mengenai suatu permasalahan tertentu.. Berdasar pemahaman penulis, berpikir kritis berhubungan dengan cara seseorang mendalami pengetahuan ataupun informasi yang diterima. Kebijakan pemerintah yang terbaru mengenai digagasnya kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang menggunakan sistem pembelajaran student center learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan mencakup teori-teori yang berkaitan masalah penelitian Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji berbagai persoalan dan potensi teknik student center learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa segala aspeks yang ada dalam sosiologi bisa dihubungkan dengan sosial-budaya, ekonomi, agama, dan pendidikan. Akan tetapi, penelitian ini mengacu pada sosiologi pendidikan sebagai sudut pandang atau perspektf dalam mengkaji permasalahan sistem pembelajaran student center learning. Selain itu yang membedakan penelitian ini terletak pada teori kesadaran kritis siswa, diperlukannya kesadaran tersebut sebab saat ini argumentasi dari masyarakat mengenai pentingnya prestasi siswa dan beasiswa LPDP hanya dipertuntukan kepada siswa yang pendidikannya berkualitas saja. Oleh karena itu, untuk menciptakan kesadaran kritis dengan cara mengedepannya dialog ataupun interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Supaya melatih rasa keingintahuan siswa. Berhubungan dengan sistem pembelajaran student center learning ini karena masih digagasnya kurikulum Merdeka Belajar.
