Abstract

The application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the development of elementary mathematics learning has a significant impact on the learning process. This study aims to analyze how ICT can improve the teaching of basic mathematics skills based on the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards. The main focus of this study is to explore the influence of ICT on the understanding of basic mathematical concepts, as well as students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The analysis was carried out by examining various methods of using ICT that are in line with the principles and standards set by NCTM. The results of the study are expected to provide new insights for the development of more effective curricula and learning strategies. By using ICT, it is hoped that students can more easily understand mathematics materials, develop communication skills, and improve overall learning outcomes. In addition, this study will also look at the challenges faced in the implementation of ICT and how solutions can be adopted to optimize its application in mathematics learning. Abstract

The rapid development of bus transportation has a significant impact on the selection of bus companies, especially travel services. Nuansa Utama Tour, a travel service agency, still uses conventional methods in selecting a Bus Company, requiring more time and process. Each Bus Company has its characteristics, so it requires a decision-weighing method that is easy to understand. This research aims to build a system that helps travel owners choose Bus Company recommendations according to the conditions and criteria needed. This system uses the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method to determine the best Bus Company based on various criteria needed. The system development process uses the waterfall method to facilitate systematic design with the simplest possible design and the data used is taken from case study needs through the interview process so that as a result of this system, travel owners get the most Bus Company recommendations according to their needs and the best ranking, and facilitate decision making with a more flexible time before use.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of teacher roles and parenting styles on character formation of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sleman Yogyakarta. Overcoming the limitations of previous studies that used multiple linear regression, this study adopted Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to model causal relationships between latent variables while controlling measurement errors. A sample of 200 students was selected through purposive sampling, with data collected via a Likert scale questionnaire 1-4 that has been validated through confirmatory factor analysis (? ? 0.70). Latent variables include: Teacher Role (X?) with 19 indicators (including motivators and facilitators), Parenting Style (X?) with 10 indicators (including democratic and responsive), and Character Formation (Y) with 24 indicators (including discipline and responsibility). The results of the SEM analysis showed a very good model fit (CFI=0.938; RMSEA=0.046; SRMR=0.048), revealing a significant influence of the Teacher's Role on Character Formation (?=0.36, *p*<0.001) and a stronger impact of Parenting Style (?=0.69, *p*<0.001). The findings also showed a high correlation between the two independent variables (?=0.71, *p*<0.001), confirming the synergy of the school-family environment. The dominance of the family's role in character education is balanced by the crucial contribution of teachers, with practical implications including democratic parenting programs, teacher training based on the role of motivators/facilitators, and holistic education policies. This study provides a methodological contribution through the application of SEM in the context of Islamic basic education as well as empirical validation of the ecological model of character formation.

Abstract

Reward adalah salah satu bentuk apresiasi terbaik kepada konsumen yang diberikan oleh CV. PROFIL 88 Surabaya setiap satu tahun sekali. Pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya CV. PROFIL 88 memberikan reward tersebut menggunakan cara manual sehingga kesalahan dalam penentuan konsumen terbaik sering terjadi menimbulkan rasa ketidakadilan antar konsumen. Salah satu solusinya adalah dengan menerapkan penggunaan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) dalam menentukan perhitungan konsumen terbaik. Sistem Pedukung Keputusan (SPK) dapat membantu pimpinan perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan untuk menentukan konsumen terbaik yang tepat dan lebih efesiensi. Sistem pendukung keputusan memiliki beberapa tahapan sebelum menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada, dengan cara mempertimbangkan beberapa kriteria, perancangan, pemilihan dan implementasi.The Extended Promethee (EXPROM II) merupakan salah satu metode penentuan urutan atau prioritas dalam analisis multikriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SPK ini mampu meningkatkan akurasi, konsistensi, dan kecepatan dalam pengambilan keputusan dibandingkan dengan penentuan secara manual. Penentuan konsumen terbaik yang tepat dan efektif memberikan dampak positif untuk meningkatkan penjualan konsumen.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, keberadaan website yang informatif dan mudah digunakan sangat penting untuk menunjang pemasaran produk. Namun, saat ini usaha tersebut belum memiliki media digital yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) pada website UD Warna Warni Kimia menggunakan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD). Proses UCD dilakukan dalam empat tahapan, yaitu memahami konteks penggunaan, menentukan kebutuhan pengguna, merancang solusi desain, dan mengevaluasi desain. Evaluasi desain dilakukan melalui usability testing, think aloud protocol (TAP), dan System Usability Scale (SUS). Usability testing dilakukan untuk mengukur lima aspek utama kegunaan: learnability, efficiency, memorability, error rate, dan user satisfaction, dengan skenario tugas yang merepresentasikan kebutuhan pengguna nyata. Selama pengujian berlangsung, partisipan diminta menjalankan TAP dengan mengungkapkan pikiran dan perasaan mereka secara verbal saat menggunakan prototipe, sehingga memberikan wawasan kualitatif terkait hambatan dan kenyamanan dalam interaksi antarmuka. Hasil pengujian awal menunjukkan bahwa prototipe belum sepenuhnya memenuhi ekspektasi pengguna, terutama pada aspek efisiensi dan kesalahan penggunaan. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan desain berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut, pengujian ulang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Serta adanya perbaikan nyata dalam kemudahan penggunaan dan kenyamanan pengguna. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode UCD, yang didukung dengan evaluasi usability testing dan TAP, secara efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas desain website agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi kebutuhan utama bagi usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan pengalaman pengguna (UX) pada website Maulana Teknik Solution, sebuah layanan jasa servis AC, menggunakan pendekatan Lean UX. Metodologi Lean UX dipilih karena mengutamakan iterasi cepat, validasi langsung dari pengguna, dan kolaborasi tim. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahapan Declare Assumption, Create an MVP, Run an Experiment, serta Feedback and Research. Prototipe dikembangkan dalam bentuk low-fidelity dan high-fidelity menggunakan Figma, dan diuji menggunakan metode usability testing dengan pendekatan SEQ (Single Ease Question) dan SUS (System Usability Scale). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengguna merasa sangat mudah dalam menggunakan sistem (rata-rata skor SEQ mendekati 7), serta mendapatkan nilai SUS sebesar 83 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Excellent”. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan UI/UX berbasis Lean UX efektif dalam meningkatkan kemudahan penggunaan dan kepuasan pengguna, serta menjadi solusi digital yang potensial bagi pertumbuhan layanan servis AC.

Abstract

Grocery stores play a vital role in fulfilling people's basic needs, especially in urban and rural areas. However, in operational practice, grocery stores still often face classic obstacles such as inefficient sales management and difficulties in controlling stock items that are prone to expiration. With the support of increasingly sophisticated technology as it is today, information systems are an additional tool that can be used by businesses to market their goods and services online. This research aims to design and develop a website-based sales administration and expired product management information system, which can help problems in grocery stores. The system development method uses the Waterfall method, while the research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and literature studies. The system is built using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Javascript Bootstrap and applies the FIFO algorithm in managing stock items and system testing using Black Box Testing.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a critical role in shaping foundational cognitive skills, particularly during the preoperational stage (ages 2–7 years) as theorized by Jean Piaget. Children in this phase learn optimally through active, symbolic manipulation and play. However, the global shift towards digital learning necessitates a robust instructional design framework to overcome the limitations of passive media and mitigate the risks of cognitive overload often associated with poorly structured digital content. This study addresses the urgent need for empirically validated, theory-driven digital learning tools for ECE by systematically integrating Piaget’s developmental rationale with Richard E. Mayer’s Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning (CTML). The research employed a systematic Research and Development (R&D) approach using the five-phase ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis phase defined specific cognitive targets (e.g., shape, number, and color recognition) suitable for preoperational learners. The design and development phases strictly implemented key CTML principles, such as the Coherence Principle (eliminating extraneous materials like non-essential background music) and the Modality Principle (using audio narration instead of on-screen text to prevent dual-channel overload), thereby optimizing cognitive processing efficiency for young learners. The intervention—an interactive digital simulation designed around these principles—was implemented with a sample of ECE children in Indonesia. The efficacy of the intervention was evaluated using a pre-test post-test quasi-experimental design. The results demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in the cognitive performance of the treatment group (p < 0.05). Specifically, children exposed to the CTML-designed simulation showed an average cognitive gain of 25% to 30% in targeted skills (classification, counting, and problem-solving) compared to their baseline scores. This substantial gain validates the combined theoretical approach. The study concludes that the effectiveness of digital media in ECE is not inherent to the technology itself but is directly proportional to the rigor of the instructional design, confirming that minimizing extraneous cognitive load through Mayer's principles enables more efficient assimilation and accommodation of new knowledge, aligning perfectly with Piagetian demands for active learning. Abstract

Digital transformation has encouraged Internet Service Provider (ISP) companies to optimize digital media as a strategic tool for marketing and customer communication. One of the major challenges faced is the low visibility of company websites on search engines, which limits public access to information regarding services offered. This activity aims to enhance the digital visibility of PT Olean Permata Telematika through the implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. The methods employed include an initial website analysis, technical and content optimization, as well as training and mentoring for company personnel on sustainable SEO practices. The results indicate an improvement in website visibility on search engine results and an increased level of understanding among the partner regarding SEO implementation. This activity is expected to strengthen the company’s digital marketing strategy and improve its competitiveness in the ISP industry.

Abstract

Initially, the goal of Machine Learning (ML) advancements is faster computation time and lower computation resources, while the curse of dimensionality burdens both computation time and resource. This paper describes the benefits of the Feature Selection Algorithms (FSA) for speech data under workload stress. FSA contributes to reducing both data dimension and computation time and simultaneously retains the speech information. We chose to use the robust Evolutionary Algorithm, Harmony Search, Principal Component Analysis, Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization, Ant Colony Optimization, and Bee Colony Optimization, which are then to be evaluated using the hierarchical machine learning models. These FSAs are explored with the conversational workload stress data of a Customer Service hotline, which has daily complaints that trigger stress in speaking. Furthermore, we employed precisely 223 acoustic-based features. Using Random Forest, our evaluation result showed computation time had improved 3.6 faster than the original 223 features employed. Evaluation using Support Vector Machine beat the record with 0.001 seconds of computation time.
