Encouraging learning environments and strong teacher-student interactions are prerequisites for effective learning. Learning achievement can be enhanced by classroom environments that foster positive interactions between teachers and students, but it can also be impacted by school culture, one aspect of which is the morning culture. The aim of this research is to ascertain how the adoption of a morning-day culture will enhance students' academic performance. This research employs a case study methodology combined with a qualitative approach. The grade XI pupils and the instructor in charge of the morning day culture program are the subjects of this investigation. The class XI homeroom teacher served as the research informant. The methods of gathering data include documentation, interviews, and observation. Triangulating sources and approaches is one of the techniques used for data validation. Techniques for data analysis include gathering, reducing, presenting, and verifying data or drawing conclusions. The study's findings demonstrate that the morning day culture program at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya is implemented in a different way each day. Specifically, the flag ceremony is held on Monday, socialization or habituation is done on Tuesday, literacy is done on Wednesday, the school environment is cleaned on Thursday, and group gymnastics is done on Friday morning. In addition to serving as a routine, the morning day culture program has a big impact on the students at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya. For example, students in good physical and mental health find it easier to focus during class; students who are happy and motivated at school are more engaged in their studies; and literacy and socialization activities help students develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a result, by enhancing character, enhancing health, and fostering skill development, this morning culture supports student learning achievement

Abstract

The curriculum is very important in education because it has a direct impact on students. In its definition, the curriculum is divided into three parts: subjects, learning experiences, and planning. There are visible and invisible curricula. The invisible curriculum is the educational environment or the ideas of scholars. These ideas arise as an effort to contextualise Islamic teachings in the face of various changes. The Islamic religious education curriculum in terms of material is fixed and stagnant. However, there are differences among scholars regarding the order in which the material should be taught to students. This paper will attempt to describe the curriculum ideas of Tuan Guru Sekumpul Syekh Muhammad Zaini, also known as Guru Sekumpul. The researcher is interested in studying this figure because of his prominence, breadth of knowledge, and influence on the people of Kalimantan, especially South Kalimantan. The main references are sourced from lecture CDs/MP3s delivered by Tuan Guru Zaini during his lifetime and compared with the books he read. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, Tuan Guru Zaini's ideas about the PAI curriculum were discovered. With a qualitative approach and content analysis, it was found that Tuan Guru Zaini's ideas on PAI (Islamic Education) curriculum emphasize moral education, spirituality, and the integration of Sharia and Sufism, as well as implications for the development of an Islamic education curriculum that is more contextual and spiritually oriented

Abstract

The division of inheritance in Islamic law provides different shares between sons and daughters, where sons receive twice the share as daughters. However, this division is considered fair from an Islamic perspective, which views that justice does not always mean mathematical equality, but rather the granting of rights in accordance with the responsibilities and social roles of each individual. In Islamic society, men have a responsibility to provide for the family, so a larger share of inheritance is considered part of their economic responsibility. In contrast, women do not have the same obligations, and therefore, they are given a smaller but sufficient inheritance share to meet their personal needs. This article aims to analyze the principles of justice in the distribution of inheritance according to Islamic law, with a focus on differences in inheritance rights between boys and girls using library research research methods. This discussion will also examine the gender perspective in the distribution of inheritance, by criticizing what this system is. is still relevant to the concept of gender equality developing in modern society. The results of the analysis show that even though this distribution is unequal in number, the principles of Islamic justice still apply by providing rights in accordance with the social and economic obligations of each gender. In the modern context, some contemporary thinkers propose a reinterpretation to create a better balance between social justice and gender equality.

Abstract

Abstract

Learning in modern education tends to emphasize cognitive aspects and the use of technology, while the ethical and value dimensions are often neglected. This creates a gap between the effectiveness of learning and the formation of student character. This study aims to examine ethics and learning media from the perspective of the hadith and their relevance to contemporary education. The method used is qualitative research with a library approach, through an analysis of hadiths related to ethics and learning media, supported by Islamic education literature and modern educational theory. The results show that learning ethics in the hadith include obedience to Allah and the Messenger, an attitude of critical questioning, and respect for differences as the basis for character formation. Meanwhile, learning media from the hadith perspective is flexible and contextual, including the use of audio, visual, and audio-visual media that function to clarify understanding while internalizing values. The novelty of this study lies in the simultaneous integration of ethics and learning media from the hadith perspective and their reinterpretation in the context of digital education. Thus, this study offers an Islamic pedagogical model that is not only methodologically effective but also oriented towards values and character formation.

Abstract

The Indonesian education system has undergone 11 curriculum changes since independence. SMAN 3 Palangka Raya, a school that has implemented the Merdeka curriculum, has been implementing it. The impact of implementing this curriculum on Islamic religious education subjects is that teachers are not fully familiar with the Merdeka curriculum, which has impacted learning methods. The study used a qualitative and field research approach. The purpose of the study was to describe and analyze the learning process, problems, and efforts to overcome them in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 3 Palangka Raya. The study revealed that the Merdeka curriculum has been implemented since the 2021/2022 academic year, with an emphasis on student-centered intracurricular activities through interactive methods such as discussions, presentations, group projects, and direct worship practices. The approach integrates the development of the Pancasila Student Profile through real-world problem-based projects, as well as teacher flexibility in selecting contextual teaching materials tailored to students' backgrounds. Islamic religious education teachers face problems such as low student motivation and learning awareness due to diverse characteristics, high absenteeism, limited infrastructure, increasing administrative burdens, and difficulties in authentic assessment of attitudes and skills. These factors complicate innovative learning strategies that require active student participation. Solutions include intensive outreach and time allocation coordination, teacher training through workshops, gradual infrastructure improvements using BOS funds and local materials, parental involvement through counseling, development of assessment instruments, and student mapping for a differentiated approach. These steps enhance the effectiveness of the Independent Curriculum in a sustainable manner.
