Abstract

This mentoring program aims to analyze the improvement of students’ ability in comprehending the legal verses of the Qur’an after participating in a mentoring program organized at the Qurany Islamic Boarding School. The mentoring was carried out for 3 months by implementing interactive lectures, group discussions, case studies and hands-on practice. The results demonstrated that the abilities in fluent recitation, translation, analyzing verse structures, grasping content, and application in daily worship increased significantly with the percentage of excellent grades reaching >90%. This success was influenced by the utilization of appropriate training methods, resource competencies, participant enthusiasm, and support from the Islamic boarding school. Through this successful mentoring, the students’ theoretical understanding and practical skills with regards to the application of the Qur’anic legal verses have become very adequate, enabling them to become pioneers in society.

Abstract

The educational program for religious moderation through Islamic arts and culture for Generation Z at MI Bahrul Ulum Gedongboyo, Turi, Lamongan aims to instill moderate, inclusive and tolerant Islamic values. Adopting a participatory action research (PAR) approach, this program integrates the concept of religious moderation into the curriculum through Islamic arts and culture. Implementation includes the development of learning modules, extracurricular activities, and integration into regular subjects. Results show a significant increase in students' understanding of religious moderation, positive changes in attitudes towards diversity, and the ability to express moderate Islamic values ??through works of art. Key challenges include the diversity of student backgrounds and limited resources. The success of the program opens up opportunities for development and replication in other Islamic educational institutions. A holistic approach that integrates cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects is the key to success. This program makes a significant contribution in forming a young generation of moderate and tolerant Muslims, as well as offering an innovative model in religious education to face the challenges of radicalism and intolerance

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the understanding and practice of worship through the Sulam At-Taufiq book for students at Al Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School in Jombang. This activity focuses on assisting santri in understanding the text of the book and practicing thaharah and prayer correctly. The method used includes a comprehensive and interactive approach through seven stages: identification of needs, pre-test, program design, classical learning, selection of superior santri as companions, worship practices, and evaluation and follow-up. The results of the service showed a significant improvement in the ability of santri to read and understand the Sulam At-Taufiq book, including the ability to interpret, analyze in terms of Nahwu and Sharaf, and understand the meaning of its contents. The students also showed an increase in skills in the practice of thaharah and prayer according to Islamic law. Supporting factors for the success of the program are the high interest and enthusiasm of the santri, while time constraints are a limiting factor. This program succeeded in creating a sustainable mentoring system by empowering senior santri as mentors

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the Islamic character of tahfiz students through an intensive guidance programme based on Indonesia-Malaysia collaboration in Darul Falah Selangor. Islamic character education is a fundamental foundation in shaping a generation of quality huffaz, yet the challenge of integrating Quranic values into daily behaviour remains a major issue. This community service programme used a participatory action research approach involving 45 tahfiz students for six months. The implementation method included three stages: preparation with needs assessment, implementation of an intensive mentorship programme for four months, and ongoing evaluation. Results showed significant improvements on three dimensions of Islamic character: akhlaq towards Allah (89% increase in sunnah worship and 82% in recitation quality), akhlaq towards fellow humans (78% decrease in conflict and 85% increase in communication skills), and akhlaq towards the environment through the green pesantren initiative. The programme succeeded in increasing motivation to memorise by 91% with a 65% decrease in recitation errors and a 78% increase in memorisation fluency. An Indonesia-Malaysia collaboration resulted in an innovative mentoring model that combines local pesantren wisdom with modern technology. This programme proved to be effective in producing a generation of huffaz who excel in memorisation while having a strong Islamic character.

Abstract

Fiqh learning at madrasah is aimed to direct and prepare students to know, understand, appreciate and practice Islamic law in everyday life. The aim of this research was to describe student prayer discipline as an impact of the implementation of Fiqh learning at seventh grade students of MTs Ar-Rahman Nglaban Jombang. This research method was qualitative research, with qualitative descriptive design. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation methods. Techniques for testing data validity by extending observations, increasing accuracy in research, data triangulation and using sufficient references. Data was analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The results of the research showed that: the students were able to get used to have obligatory prayers according to what has been taught by the fiqh teacher; the increasing of students fiqih score; the students are responsible and obedient in carrying out obligatory prayers.

Abstract

Ecotourism is a form of tourism that still pays attention to the preservation of unspoiled nature (ecology), maintaining social culture (Social), empowering local communities around the area (economic), and can provide learning and education to the community or visitors (education). If one of these aspects is missing, it is necessary to evaluate the ecotourism. Clungup Mangrove Conservation Tiga Warna (CMC Tiga Warna) is located in Tambakrejo Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency. The ecotourism area here is managed by the local Sendang Biru community who are members of the Bhakti Alam Sendang Biru Foundation. Socio-economic problems are one aspect that needs to be resolved in an effort to impact community welfare. This Community service provided by training in ecoprint production and assisting in digital marketing and advertising for CMC managers and agents to decrease the sosio-economic tension.

Abstract

Kedelai (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) merupakan tanaman kacang-kacangan yang menjadi sumber protein sebagian besar penduduk Indonesia. Penelitian bertujuan: (1) mempelajari keragaman daya hasil bobot biji dan jumlah polong isi pada galur kedelai F4 hasil persilangan varietas Anjasmoro dengan Tanggamus, Grobogan, AP, dan UB  (2) mempelajari sifat yang mendukung daya hasil pada galur F4 hasil persilangan varietas Anjasmoro dengan Tanggamur, Grobogan, AP, dan UB. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2014 hingga bulan Mei 2014 di Kebun percobaan Universitas Brawijaya, yang terletak di Desa Jatikerto, Kecamatan Kromengan, Kabupaten Malang. Bahan yang digunakan meliputi kedelai varietas Anjasmoro, Tanggamus, Grobogan, AP, UB sebagai tetua, F4 hasil persilangan ♀Anjasmoro x ♂Tanggamus, ♀Anjasmoro x ♂Grobogan, ♀Anjasmoro x ♂AP, dan ♀Anjasmoro x ♂UB . Rancangan yang digunakan adalah single plant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Galur Anjasmoro x Tanggamus, Anjamoro x Grobogan, dan Anjamoro x UB memiliki keragaman daya hasil tinggi, jumlah buku subur adalah sifat utama yang mendukung daya hasil pada semua galur persilangan, galur Anjasmoro x UB memiliki daya hasil lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan galur Anjamoro x Grobogan, Anjasmoro x  Grobogan  memiliki daya hasil lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Anjasmoro x Tanggamus, Anjasmoro x Tanggamus lebih tinggi dibandingkan Anjasmoro x AP. Nilai KKF, KKG, heritabilitas dan KGH tinggi pada galur F4 kedelai pada semua kombinasi persilangan sehingga berpeluang untuk dilakukan seleksi. Kata kunci: Varietas Anjasmoro, Varietas Grobogan, Galur AP, Galur UB, Single Plant, Daya Hasil, KKF, KKG, Heritabilitas, KGH, Seleksi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalisation process of moderate Islamic values through mosque youth activities at SMAN 1 Jombang. Using a qualitative approach with the descriptive method, this study examines the concept of moderate Islamic values, the form of mosque youth activities in internalizing moderate Islamic values, and the process of instilling these values. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, with data analysis adapting the interactive model of Miles et al. The results showed that the concept of moderate Islamic values instilled at SMAN 1 Jombang includes tolerance, mutual respect, non-discrimination, and cooperation. The internalization of these values is done through various mosque youth activities such as yellow book studies, Qiraah, Al-Banjari, commemoration of Islamic holidays, and social activities. The internalization process is carried out through three stages, namely value transformation using the lecture method, value transaction using the question and answer method and exemplary, and transinternalisation through habituation and evaluation. This research contributes to the development of an internalisation model of moderate Islamic values in formal education institutions as a preventive effort against radicalism and extremism among the younger generation

Abstract

Marriage law in Islam regulates human life in giving vent to their sexual desires in the right way so that their descendants can be maintained and becomes dignified creatures. Some community have own procedures for the marriage process. The research which was carried out in Teruwai, Pujut, Central Lombok, NTB, was aimed to describe the marriage process of Sasak Islamic community from an Islamic law perspective. This research used qualitative method. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results were found: the way of Sasak Islamic community in Teruwai marriage is begun with Midang and Memariq which in Islam is known as Ta'aruf and Khitbah. Followed by Mangan Merangkat, Selabaran, Bait Wali, and Betikah/Bekawin, namely implementation of the marriage contract, and closing with the Roah Tradition, Sorong Serah aji Krame, Nyongkolan, Bales Ones Nae or walimatul 'Ursy in Islam.

Abstract

Budakeling people in Bebandem, Karangasem, Bali, consists of various religions. but they live in harmony and tolerance without conflict, Muslims are a minority in that village. This research aims to describe the harmonious, tolerant life experienced by minority Muslims in the Budakeling Karangasem Bali. This is field research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants were village officials, Javanese saren hamlet traditional keliang, Islamic religious leaders, Muslim and Hindu citizens. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research were the life of minority Muslims is fair, getting equal opportunities, both in social life and public services. Harmonization of the lives of minority Muslims can be seen from the burcek, Subak and the use of Hindus’ name prefixes for Muslims, and Typical gamelan rudat.
