Abstract

The fisheries potential in Tanjung Medang Village is highly promising for development due to its predominantly coastal location. This research aims to identify the mackerel supply chain pattern in Tanjung Medang Village using the Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) approach. The method used is a survey method. Data analysis uses supply chain pattern analysis with the FSCN approach. The research results show that the mackerel supply chain pattern in Tanjung Medang Village has a supply chain structure consisting of primary and secondary members. Supply chain targets include the export market (Malaysia) and the local market (Tanjung Medang). The application of supply chain management includes bound and unbound partner relationships between supply chain actors, contractual agreements that occur informally, and transactions between supply chain actors using credit and prepayment systems. Supply chain business processes include collaborative planning that appears in each supply chain actor; the risks faced by each supply chain actor are different. The resources owned by the supply chain are by needs (physical resources, capital, technology, and human resources).

This study aims to calculate the land rent value of blood cockle ponds and analyze the factors influencing land rent value in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study used a survey method with a census respondent selection technique involving 43 blood cockle farmers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature studies. Data was analyzed using the rental value calculation method and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the average land rent value of blood cockle ponds in Bangko District was IDR 49.777,968/ha, and the main factors that affect the rent value of blood mussel pond land are pond productivity and the distance of the pond location to the market center. This study concludes that the higher the productivity, the higher the land rent value, while the further the distance, the lower the land rent value

Abstract

Mangrove forests are important for human life and the surrounding environment, one of which is as a CO2 absorber and carbon storage. The North Coast of Cawan Island in Indragiri Hilir has a relatively good mangrove forest that is estimated to absorb and store more carbon. This study aims to (1) estimate the value of carbon storage in stands (stems), below-ground carbon (roots), litter, and sediment of mangrove forests, (2) estimate the CO2 absorption capacity of mangrove forests, and (3) estimate the economic value of absorption CO2 by mangrove forest on the North Coast of Cawan Island. The station determination method uses purposive sampling of five stations, each consisting of a transect with three plots measuring 10x10 m2. Measurement of stem and root biomass using the allometric method. Litter biomass measurement used the dry weight weighing method, and sediment carbon measurement used the Loss on Ignition (LOI) method. The result showed that average carbon storage in stems was 34.56 tons/ha, roots were 16.41 tons/ha, litter was 0.10 tons/ha, and sediment was 32.91 tons/ha. The estimated ability of mangrove forests to absorb CO2 is an average of 187.10 tons/ha or 636,450.59 tonnes for the entire North Coast of Cawan Island. The estimated economic value of mangrove forest carbon is an average of IDR 149,809,099 /ha or IDR 509,599,619,024 for the entire North Coast of Cawan Island.

Secondary data came from journals on mangrove ecotourism potential. Then, the sampling of respondents was determined/selected purposively (purposive sampling). The results showed that the Anak Setatah Village mangrove ecotourism area had several activities: tracking, sitting, photography, and education. The calculation results of the area's carrying capacity in the mangrove ecotourism of Anak Setatah Village are 168 people/day. This means that the maximum number of visitors allowed to do tourist activities in mangrove ecotourism is 168 visitors per day, with the time provided by the manager for traveling being 12 hours. The perception of the Anak Setatah Village community shows promising results, with the IPR category strongly agreeing, and the mean count category is classified into a high category.
