Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemiskinan penerima PKH apakah penerima bantuan ini sudah tepat sasaran atau tidak, untuk mengetahui pendapatan nelayan di Kelurahan Bagan Hulu sebelum dan sesudah adanya PKH. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dan wawancara kepada nelayan penerima PKH, jumlah responden sebanyak 39 responden dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh PKH terhadap tingkat pendapatan nelayan maka dilakukan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemiskinan penerima PKH terdiri dari 92,30% miskin dan 7,70% tidak miskin. Dengan hasil uji-t 0,00 <0,05 dapat dilihat bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada pendapatan sebelum dan setelah menerima PKH. pendapatan rata-rata rumah tangga nelayan sebelum menerima PKH sebanyak Rp17.858.462,- per tahun, sedangkan pendapatan rata-rata setelah menerima PKH diperoleh sebesar Rp20.144.359,- per tahun atau sekitar 13% dari pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan per tahunnya. Pengaruh PKH terhadap tingkat pendapatan masyarakat nelayan di Kelurahan Bagan Hulu sudah efektif berdasarkan tujuan programnya yakni menambah penghasilan rumah tangga miskin dalam meningkatkan taraf hidupTitle: The Influence of “Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH)” on the Income Level of Fishers at Bagan Hulu, Bangko Sub-Regency, Rokan Hilir RegencyThis study aims to determine the poverty level of PKH recipients whether the recipients of this assistance have been on target or not, to determine the income of fishermen in Bagan Hulu Village before and after the existence of PKH. This research was conducted in May 2018. The method used was survey and interview methods to PKH recipient fishers, the number of respondents was 39 respondents with random sampling. To analyze the effect of PKH on the income level of fishers, the t-test was carried out. The results showed that the poverty rate of PKH recipients consisted of 92.30% poor and 7.70% non-poor. With the results of the t-test 0.00 <0.05, It can be seen that there is a significant effect on income before and after receiving PKH. The average income of fisher’s households before receiving PKH was IDR 17,858,462 per year, while the average income after receiving PKH was IDR 20,144,359 per year or about 13% of fisher’s household income per year. The influence of PKH on the income level of the fishing community in Bagan Hulu Village has been effective based on the program objectives, that is; to increase the income of poor households in order to improve their standard of living.

Abstract

Pengembangan budidaya ikan air tawar membutuhkan bantuan dari pihak perbankan khususnya aspek permodalan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pegawai bank dalam budidaya ikan air tawar sehingga diharapkan mampu melayani nasabah pelaku usaha ikan air tawar dengan lebih baik. Metode pelatihan menggunakan ceramah, diskusi dan field trip ke lokasi usaha perikanan air tawar. Hasil pendidikan profil bisnis komoditas ikan air tawar menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap seluk beluk budidaya ikan air tawar. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan pengembangan budidaya ikan air tawar terus berkembanga di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

The research was conducted in July 2021 on Rupat Island, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to estimate the economic value obtained from the value of consumer surplus by using the travel cost method. The data required includes primary and secondary data. The population used is tourists who visit Rupat Island tourism. Determination of respondents by accidental sampling with a total of 33 people. Data were analyzed by regression model. The results of the analysis show that the regression model obtained is Y= 3,0562 – 0,4068X1 + 0,5273X2 – 0,6815X3 – 0,3971X4 – 0,6056X5 – 0,0290X6, meaning that the demand for tourist visits to Rupat Island is positively influenced by X2 (income). The variables that have a negative effect are X1 (travel cost), X3 (age), X4 (distance), X5 (education) and X6 (gender). The average travel cost per visitor is IDR533,636.00,- per visit. The economic value of Rupat Island tourism is IDR1,507,554,457.51,- with a consumer surplus of IDR427,140.43,- per indivisual per visit

Abstract

The study aims to establish the management model of ecosystem services Koto Panjang Reservoir.The approach used in this modeling is the Dynamic Modelling. The results showed the value ofprediction error of the simulation results based on the data used was in the range 0.4 % - 4.64 %. Thesimulation results show the value of economic growth in 2020 will reach its peak value Rp.3,3 billion.The economic value of the total economic value of the four main activities of the utilization ofecosystem services Koto Panjang Reservoir namely; KJA cultivation of Rp.1,1 billion, tourism Rp.1,6billion,  fishing by paddle for 60 million,  fishing by fishing boat engine at Rp.489 million. Modelscenarios developed by increasing the KJA growth of 30% and 100% for tourism, managed toincrease the total economic value of Rp.5,08 billion from previously around Rp.3,3 billion or anincrease of approximately 53.95%. The increase in the economic value derived from an increase inthe economic value of Rp.1,56 billion KJA activities and improvement of the economic value oftourism activities Rp 2,9 billion.  Keywords: ecosystem services, reservoirs, total economic value, dynamic modelling

Abstract

One of the fishery products in Sungai Paku village is kijing, which is a freshwater mussel that lives naturally at the bottom of the river, and a community fish pond that utilizes leftovers from aquaculture. The potential of kijing is quite large and has good nutritional value especially the content of essential amino acids and Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), but have not been utilized optimally. The objectives of this activity were to 1. Increase the knowledge and skills of the community to become creative, productive and independent processors, 2. Provide knowledge about the management of product licenses from BPOM (P-IRT), and 3. Provide production management skills and marketing strategies so that production develops and continuous (sustainable). The methods used in the implementation of this activity were: lectures, discussions, and direct practice of making crackers and snack products of kijing with various flavours: cheese, barbecue, and spicy flavor, with a farmer group Alam Bendungan consists 10 people who have been selected. From the implementation of this activity the service program target has been achieved well (100%), in which the Paku River village community which is incorporated into farmer group the Alam Bendungan Sungai Paku Village has become a creative, productive and independent processor, has knowledge of managing product licenses from BPOM (P-IRT), skilled in product management and marketing strategies so that production develops and continues (sustainable).

Abstract

Pangkalan Lesung Urban Village is located in Pangkalan Lesung District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. Pangkalan Lesung Urban Village has the potential for nature tourism in the form of hot spring baths, the existence of a nature tourism area can improve the economy of the informal sector through the provision of food for tourists who visit. One alternative food that can be done is processed from fishery products. In addition to having processed fishery products that have good nutritional content for health, they also have a high economic value, are used as processed food products and increase family income. The aim of the activity is to empower the community in Pangkalan Lesung Village, Pelalawan to be able to process fishery products into varied and ready-to-serve products. But still healthy for family consumption because it is created with various types of vegetables and fish. The benefit of the activity is that the community of Pangkalan Lesung Village gets the ability and skills in making fish nuggets and meatballs which have high nutritional value, improve the community's economy and can be developed for further business. The method used is a demonstration and practice on how to process fishery products. The target community for this activity is PKK, with 25 members. The results of the evaluation of participants receiving and practising the material processing of fishery products to be used as entrepreneurship on the 17 August 2019 in Pangkalan Lesung Village.

Abstract

Teluk Kenidai Village is located in Tambang District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Teluk Kenidai Village has the potential for natural tourism in the form of beaches, which are one of the alternative tourist destinations for the community. The activities carried out are playing various kinds of rides and swimming on the banks of the Kampar River. The visitors to the island of love in Kenidai Bay are the largest visitors of all tourist objects in Kampar Regency. The existence of the island of love tourism can develop the community's economy by providing special foods as souvenirs and drinks for tourist visitors. Alternative foods that can be done are processed crispy monitor fish and lime syrup drinks because these two things have very high potential in Kampar Regency, and can provide added value to people's lives. The purpose of the activity is to empower the people of Teluk Kenidai Village, to process various crispy monitoring fish and to increase the attractiveness of the island of love for visiting tourists. The benefits of the activity are opening up people's insights in increasing the potential of natural resources, gaining skills and abilities in making crispy monitor fish and lime syrup to improve the economy. The method is carried out by demonstration and hands-on practice in the manufacture of crispy monitoring fish and lime syrup. The target communities are the people living in Teluk Kenidai Village and village customary leaders and the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) totaling 15 people. Evaluation is carried out by giving questionnaires to all participats before and after the delivery of counseling materials and practices. The results of the evaluation of the community service activities that have been carried out show that the increasing desire of the community in practicing extension activities to earn additional income by opening this bussines, especially in the tourist area of Pulau Cinta in Teluk Kenidai Village.

Abstract

Community service activities are making processed products as various food products based on the potential of local plants by utilizing the fruit and leaves of mangroves (Sonneratia caseolaris) and (Acanthus ilicifolius) in Teluk Pambang Village. This activity has the aim of developing the business of processing pedada fruit syrup and jeruju leaf chips using mangrove raw materials from local potential with the objectives of: a) technological innovation of processing mangrove leaves and fruit as product raw materials; b) utilization of processed mangroves for food products that have economic value; c) manufacture of processed mangrove products as an altervative to increase people’s income; d) products packaging; and e) increasing the capacity of business management and marketing of processed products from mangroves. The method used is counseling and practice of processing pedada fruit syrup and jeruju leaf chips. The target community in this activity is the mother of the KPM BELUKAP group in Teluk Pambang Village. The results of the activity show that the community strongly agrees with this activity, being involved in practicing the processing of pedada fruit syrup and jeruju leaf chips as an alternative to increase income. Economic analysis of processed pedada fruit syrup is IDR252,000.00,- and jeruju leaf chips are IDR622,400.00,-. After is this service activity shows that there is a culinary business opportunity that is made from mangroves and can be used by the Teluk Pambang Village community to develop mangroves which were originally only for the tourism sector, as well as to cultivate and preserve mangroves.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of social capital on the welfare of the coastal population of Rokan Hilir Regency. This study used a survey method with a quantitative approach. Welfare indicators include income, family expenditure, health and access to health services, housing conditions and facilities, education, and access to transportation. Meanwhile, the indicators of social capital include network participation variables, reciprocal relations, trust, social norms, social values ​​and proactiveness. The results of this study showed that six variables of social capital had a positive influence on the increase in coastal people welfare. These variables contribute at the level of 64.0% in terms of welfare improvement. The network participation variable (PN) affects more effectively than other variables, where an increase of one unit of the network participation index (PN) will increase the welfare level index (Y) to 0.451. Furthermore, the reciprocity (RC) and proactive (PR) variables have an equal effect on welfare, where an increase of one unit will increase the welfare index (Y) by 0.120 - 0.124 units with a significant level of 0.1. Finally, the variables of trust (TR), norm (SN) and value (SV) have an equal effect on welfare (Y) of 0.9 - 0.112, meaning that if one or all the three variables increase by one unit index, the welfare (Y) will increase between 0.9 - 0.112 index units

Abstract

This research was conducted in a terubuk fishermen area in Bengkalis District (3 villages), Bukit Batu District (4 villages) in Bengkalis Regency; Sungai Apit District (2 villages), Siak Regency and Tasik Putri Puyu District (2 villages) in Meranti Islands Regency. The location is densely populated by fishermen with the largest fishery reserve in the waters of Bengkalis, Riau. This study was carried out to examine the transaction costs in the management of terubuk fish in Bengkalis waters. A survey was administered to collect primary data and secondary data through interview and focus group discussions with stakeholders relevant to Terubuk fisheries reserves (fishermen and the government). The transaction cost structure of terubuk fish management was determined using transaction cost analysis. Analytical method using the equation . The results of the study showed that the total transaction costs required in the management of terubuk fish in Bengkalis waters reported by the government reached IDR 1,505,134,000 for a year. Meanwhile, the transaction cost of fishermen was IDR 95,750,000 per year which is significantly lower than the one reported by the government. The cost included the decision-making costs, information costs, and joint operational cost.
