Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran dan kendala Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam membentuk karakter di era pandemi Covid-19. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki tanggung jawab untuk membentuk karakter anak didik, namun saat ini banyak anak didik yang sedang mengalami krisis karakter karena adanya situasi yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan kajian pustaka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan analisis proses pertama, implementasi pendidikan kewarganegaraan dengan jalur pendidikan formal yaitu memberikan teladan. Analisis proses kedua, upaya membentuk karakter anak didik menekankan aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Keberhasilan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan memahami kondisi psikologis anak didik. Hal ini untuk mengetahui tindakan dan strategi pembelajaran. Analisis proses ketiga bahwa pembentukan karakter di dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada dasarnya di era pandemi Covid-19 akan berjalan dengan efektif dengan adanya variasi metode pembelajaran dengan dalam membentuk karakter. Para pendidik juga perlu memiliki kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian.

Abstract

Recognizing the crucial need for developing relevant curricula in higher education, this community service activity aimed to facilitate the planning of an Arabic Language Education study program adopting an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Mempawah. Utilizing a participatory action research (PAR) approach through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and workshops, this assistance successfully enhanced partners' knowledge about the concept and implementation of the OBE curriculum. Furthermore, it garnered a strong commitment from STAI leadership, supported by the government and stakeholders, to establish the program by 2025. This initiative represents a strategic step in improving the quality of Islamic higher education, particularly in West Kalimantan.

Abstract

West Kalimantan, especially Sambas Regency, which has expanded into three regions (Sambas, Bengkayang, and Singkawang), has a bad history related to conflicts between religious communities. This occurs because of a lack of tolerance for differences. This research aims to find out the harmony of life between religious communities in Singkawang City and to find out the impact of the lives of people in Singkawang City on diversity in Indonesia. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. This research is conducted in the Singkawang City. The data collection in this study uses interviews, observations, and documentation, while the data analysis uses interactive. The harmony between religious communities in Singkawang City is well-established, thanks to the city's regulations that promote tolerance in people's lives. As a result, Singkawang has consistently been ranked first in Indonesia for its tolerance. The impact of interfaith harmony in Singkawang City on diversity in Indonesia is very significant because interfaith harmony in Singkawang City can be a model for all regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Diversity in society, whether in terms of religion, language, ethnicity, tribe, and so on, is an unavoidable fact, especially for the Indonesian people. Therefore, this diversity must be managed and accommodated effectively to prevent it from becoming a threat that could lead to vertical or horizontal conflict. This research aims to. 1) finding out the pattern of strengthening tolerance in religious moderation villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, 2) finding out local actors involved in strengthening tolerance in religious moderation villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and 3) finding out the implications for the resilience of Pancasila ideology in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data collection technique in this study used in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data validity test used was data triangulation, and the triangulation of data analysis methods and techniques used was interactive data analysis. The results of the study show that the pattern of strengthening religious tolerance is carried out by the village government in collaboration with religious leaders and community leaders by organizing Pancasila birthday gadgets (June 1), regular interfaith dialogues, and involving religious leaders in various activities. Local actors involved in strengthening tolerance in religious moderation villages are village heads, hamlet heads, religious leaders, community leaders, and youth leaders. Strengthening tolerance through religious moderation in villages has implications for increasing the resilience of Pancasila ideology in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, considering that the religious level of the community is increasing, and the harmony of life between religious people increases.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the challenges of teachers in building the nationalism character in the millennial generation in the digital era and strategies faced by teachers in building the nationalism character of students in formal education in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data collection technique with document study, and data analysis used is content analysis. The results of the study indicate that the challenges of teachers in Indonesia in building the nationalism character of the millennial generation are that they have not mastered competencies as educators (pedagogic, professional, social, and personality) to the maximum and have not been able to implement various learning methods and have not been optimal in utilizing digital-based learning media. The teacher's strategy in building the nationalism character of the millennial generation in the digital era is that the teacher must be able to master competencies as an educator, prepare effective learning tools, and implement various learning methods to utilize digital-based learning media. The development of technology is a challenge for teachers in building the nationalism character, so teachers must be able to adapt to the times and always improve their competence.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan di karang taruna yang berperan dalam membangun karakter sosial pada generasi digital native dan menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi karang taruna dalam membangun karakter sosial pada generasi digital native. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui studi dokumen dan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter dapat diimplementasikan di karang taruna, yang merupakan wadah berkumpulnya generasi digital native untuk mengembangkan bakat dan keterampilannya.  Peran karang taruna dalam membangun karakter sosial melalui berbagai kegitan seperti, gotong royong, kegiatan kerohanian, pembinaan dari pengurus, membantu masyarakat yang sedang mengalami kesulitan dan lain sebagainya. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh karang taruna dalam membangun karakter sosial generasi digital native yaitu partisipasi generasi ini mulai menurun karena teknologi internet, intervensi oknum yang memiliki kepentingan politik, dan kurangnya dukungan dari pemerintah khususnya pemerintah desa terhadap kegiatan yang diselenggarakan oleh karang taruna.The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of character education through activities carried out in Karang Taruna (youth organization), that play a role in building social character in the digital native generation, and to analyze the obstacles faced by Karang Taruna in building social character in the digital native generation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection in this study is through document study and the data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that character education can be implemented in Karang Taruna, which is a gathering place for the digital native generation to develop their talents and skills. The role of Karang Taruna in building social character is through various activities such as mutual cooperation, spiritual activities, coaching from administrators, helping people experiencing difficulties, and so on. The obstacles faced by Karang Taruna in building the social character of the digital native generation is that the participation of this generation has begun to decline due to internet technology, the intervention of individuals with political interests, and the lack of support from the government, especially the village government, for activities organized by Karang Taruna in building social character is very effective through several activities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui mengapa pemuda sering terlibat dalam tindakan terorisme, 2) mengetahui motif tindakan terorisme yang terjadi di Indonesia, dan 3) mengetahui implikasi dari terjadinya tindakan terorisme di Indonesia terhadap ketahanan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen yang berupa artikel jurnal, proseding, buku, berita online dan lain sebagainya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tindak pidana terorisme yang terjadi di beberapa daerah di Indonesia adalah pemuda, mengingat pemuda memiliki semangat juang yang tinggi, idealisme yang tinggi, tertarik dengan perubahan yang cepat atau perubahan secara radikal. Motif tindakan terorisme yang terjadi di beberapa daerah di Indonesia pada dasarnya bukan kepentingan agama, namun memiliki kepentingan politik yang tidak setuju dengan kebijakan pemerintah atau tidak menyukai pemerintah yang sedang berkuasa, namun mengatasnamakan agama. Tindakan terorisme di Indonesia berimplikasi pada lemahnya ketahanan nasional di Indonesia, karena mengancam eksistensi ideologi Pancasila, menggangu stabiltas politik terutama sistem politik demokrasi di Indonesia, mengancam pertumbuhan perekonomian, mengancam keharmonisn kehidupan sosial budaya serta menggangu keamanan dan kedaulatan negara tergangu.This study aims to: 1) find out why youth are often involved in acts of terrorism, 2) find out the motives for acts of terrorism that occurred in Indonesia, and 3) find out the implications of acts of terrorism in Indonesia for national resilience. This study uses a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data collection techniques use document studies in the form of journal articles, proceedings, books, online news, and so on. The analysis technique used in this research is content analysis. The results of the study show that terrorism crimes that occur in several regions in Indonesia are youth, considering that youth have a high fighting spirit, high idealism, and are interested in rapid change or radical change. The motive for acts of terrorism that have occurred in several regions in Indonesia is basically not religious interests but political interests that do not agree with government policies or do not like the government that is in power but in the name of religion. Acts of terrorism in Indonesia have implications for the weakness of national resilience in Indonesia, because it threatens the existence of Pancasila ideology, disrupt political stability, especially the democratic political system in Indonesia, threaten economic growth, threaten the harmony of socio-cultural life, and disrupt the security and sovereignty of the state

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of democratic education in anticipating racial politics and the implications of democratic education on harmony between differences. This study used a qualitative approach with a literature research method. The data collection technique in this research was documentation (journals articles (nationally reputable, nationally indexed by Sinta, internationally indexed by DOAJ, and internationally indexed by Scopus), books, online news and others) and the data analysis used is content analysis. The results showed that the role of democratic education is to instill democratic values based on the nation's personality, such as tolerance, responsibility, openness between others, justice, realizing diversity, humanity and others. Democracy education activities could be carried out in schools through civic education learning, in the family environment carried out by often interacting with friends or relatives who have differences in religion, ethnicity, race and others, and in the community can be done by deliberation in RT meetings and holding regional art activities. Governments, political parties, organizations, and families can organize democracy education. Suppose the role of democracy education runs optimally. In that case, it can anticipate politics with SARA nuances so that it will have implications for harmony between others, including religions, tribes, races, groups and so on. Harmony of life among others in the life of the nation and state is the ultimate goal of democratic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative solution for increasing tolerance among Muslim students through the teachings of the Qadiriyah Wa Naqsabandiyah order in the post-conflict region in Indonesia. This research was conducted in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, with data sources from Muslim students at IAIN Pontianak and a total of 15 informants. This research method uses a qualitative research design; data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data display, verification, and conclusion. The findings in this study revealed that tolerance attitudes in students are still pretense and do not lead to positive tolerance. Therefore, the author provides alternative solutions for building tolerance in students through the teachings of the Qadiriyah Wa Naqsabandiyah Order.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan usaha untuk membangun masyarakat di Indonesia khususnya pemuda, karena pemuda adalah pemimpin bangsa Indonesia di masa yang akan datang. Apabila ingin masa depan Indonesia cerah, maka bangun pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan karakter pemuda di era sekarang. Nasionalisme adalah karkater yang wajib dimiliki oleh setiap masyarakat Indonesia, karena karakter tersebut dapat menyatukan bangsa Indonesia sehingga mampu merdeka pada tahun 1945. Sekolah berbasis agama Islam merupakan pendidikan formal yang membangun peserta didik untuk menjadi individu yang taat kepada agama Islam, di sisi lain sekolah tersebut juga berusaha untuk menanamkan karakter nasionalisme kepada peserta didiknya. Implementasi pembangunan karakter di sekolah berbasis agama Islam sungguh sangat efektif, karena salah satunya melalui mata pelajaran pendidikan Al-Qur’an. Pendidikan karakter yang diimplementasikan di sekolah berbasis agama Islam menggunakan strategi agar peserta didik mampu memiliki karakter nasionalisme. Awalnya peserta didik dikenalkan dengan karakter yang berdasarkan ajaran nabi Muhammad SAW dan kepribadian bangsa Indonesia khususnya karakter nasionalisme dan juga dikenalkan tentang karakter buruk, selanjutnya peserta didik dituntut untuk mencintai karakter-karakter yang baik tersebut khususnya karakter nasionalisme. Tahap selanjutnya peserta didik dituntut untuk mengaplikasikan karakter-karakter tersebut khususnya karakter nasionalisme dengan selalu hidup rukun sesama teman, mengikuti upacara bendera dan lain sebagainya. Tahap terakhir peserta didik dituntut untuk membiasakan tingkah laku cinta terhadap tanah air di lingkungan sekolah maupun di lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat.
