Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ideas of Islamic education thought by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, a great cleric who made significant contributions to the Islamic education system in Indonesia in the early 20th century, focusing on his efforts to overcome the educational gap caused by Dutch colonialism and reform traditional education to be more relevant to the challenges of the times. In this study Using qualitative descriptive methods and literature studies, this study found that K.H. Ahmad Dahlan initiated the concept of integrating religious knowledge and general knowledge, established schools that combined the two fields (such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Diniyah in 1911), and modernized learning methods that were useful for creating a "cleric-intellect" who was faithful and steadfast, knowledgeable, and physically and mentally strong. In conclusion, K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts on the integration of knowledge, modernization, and character education remain very relevant in facing the challenges of contemporary Islamic education, such as globalization and technological developments, to form a generation that is intelligent, moral, and globally competitive.

Abstract

This research aimsto develop learning videos with interactive quizzes on SKI subjects at MTsN.This research uses the method R&D (Research and Development). The model used is a 4D model. This model consists of four stages, namely: Stage Define(definition), this stage involves needs analysis, learning media analysis, CP, TP and ATP analysis, and material analysis. Design (design), at this stage the steps taken are designing the material and illustrations, makingflowchart, programing and making learning video products. Level Development (development), at this stage, validation is carried out by material, media, and language experts. After that, practicality testing is carried out by educators and students with two small group and large group trials.Analysis resultsshows that the development of learning videos and interactive quizzes has met the criteria of being very valid and very practical so that it is worthy of being developed. Research resultThe results showed that the learning video with interactive quizzes met the criteria for valid, practical, and effective media. Expert validation results indicated that the learning video with interactive quizzes was highly valid in terms of material/content, construction/media, and language, with an overall score of 94.93%. The practicality test results showed that the learning video with interactive quizzes was highly practical, with a score of 95.83. This means that the developed product is very practical for use in the learning process.

Abstract

There is a tendency for students to receive information passively, low interest in reading, student conditions, and learning approaches.expositorywhich emphasizes verbal delivery of material, resulting in low student learning outcomes in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning at MTsN 2 Padang Pariaman. This study aims to determine: 1) changes in learning creativity in the control and experimental classes, 2) improvements in learning outcomes in the control and experimental classes before and after learning with direct learning models and cooperative learning types.jigsaw, 3) a better learning model between cooperative learning models and the type of learning modeljigsawand direct learning models. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental research method. Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, and observations of eighth-grade students at MTsN 2 Padang Pariaman. The analysis results showed that: 1) there was a change in student learning creativity in the class with cooperative learning typejigsaw,2) there is an increase in class learning outcomes with cooperative learning typejigsaw, 3) cooperative learning model typejigsawbetter than direct learning in SKI subjects. The results of this study provide strong empirical evidence for SKI teachers, and teachers of other subjects in general, to integrate the cooperative learning model type.jigsawinto their teaching practice. This model offers an innovative alternative, creating a more interactive and student-centered learning environment, even though the learning modeljigsaw also has limitations.
