Abstract

Digitalization has brought significant changes in various fields, including education. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of technology in learning systems has increased rapidly. One important aspect of academic management is the attendance system, which, when conducted manually, is considered inefficient and prone to errors. This study aims to design a web-based attendance system for Alwi College tutoring center to improve the efficiency and organization of student attendance records. The Waterfall method is applied, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, design implementation, and design testing stages. The results of this study are in the form of a structured design for a web-based attendance system, including user interface design, attendance process flow, and database design. In conclusion, the proposed attendance system design can serve as an effective foundation for developing a more structured, accurate, and integrated attendance management system at Alwi College.

Abstract

Hemodialysis services for patients with chronic kidney disease require appropriate decision-making, especially in determining patient priorities when healthcare resources are limited. Subjective decision-making may lead to inaccuracies and potential inequality in healthcare services. Therefore, an information technology–based approach is needed to support a more objective and structured decision-making process. This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a Decision Support System to determine the priority of hemodialysis patients. The study used sample data from five patients with five evaluation criteria, namely patient age, blood pressure, creatinine level, duration of kidney failure, and frequency of hemodialysis treatment. The analysis process includes the construction of a decision matrix, normalization of criteria values based on benefit and cost attributes, and calculation of preference values using weighted criteria. The results show that the SAW method can generate a clear priority ranking of patients. Based on the calculation results, patient A3 obtained the highest preference value of 0.92, followed by patient A1 with 0.88 and patient A5 with 0.87, indicating a higher urgency for receiving hemodialysis services. The implementation of this approach contributes to the development of health information technology, particularly in supporting more objective and transparent decision-making in hemodialysis patient management.

Abstract

Data availability and security are crucial aspects of information technology infrastructure management, especially in virtualization-based server environments. Proxmox Virtual Environment (Proxmox VE), as an open-source virtualization platform, provides Virtual Machine (VM) image backup features that can be used to improve system reliability. However, the implementation of scheduled backups integrated with external storage media has not been widely studied, particularly from the perspective of operational processes and system management. This study aims to describe the implementation of VM image backup on Proxmox VE using the scheduled backup feature combined with the Samba protocol as storage media on a separate server. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with the PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) methodology as the research framework. Data were collected through system observation, configuration documentation, and analysis of backup operational  processes. System testing was carried out through SMB/CIFS storage access testing, scheduled backup execution testing on selected VMs, Proxmox VE log verification, and inspection of backup files stored on Samba storage. The implementation results show that Samba storage was successfully integrated with Proxmox VE and that the VM image backup process could run automatically according to the configured schedule, with backup files successfully stored on the target media and recorded in the system logs. This implementation improves backup storage reliability, minimizes the risk of data loss, and simplifies backup server management. This study is expected to provide a practical reference for implementing Proxmox VE-based backup servers for system administrators and institutions.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berperan strategis dalam perekonomian daerah, tetapi masih menghadapi kendala pada manajemen operasional, pencatatan keuangan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan profesionalisme pengelolaan UMKM Mopaza di Kota Palembang melalui Program Magang UMKM Berdampak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi konsultasi, pendampingan, serta difusi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi secara partisipatif oleh mahasiswa lintas disiplin. Pendampingan difokuskan pada penyusunan SOP produksi, standarisasi kualitas, pencatatan keuangan sederhana, optimalisasi pemasaran digital, dan peningkatan pelayanan pelanggan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan produktivitas dengan efisiensi waktu produksi sekitar 20%, penurunan kesalahan produksi hingga 25%, serta pencatatan keuangan menjadi rutin harian. Selain itu, visibilitas pemasaran digital meningkat dengan engagement media sosial sekitar 30%. Kolaborasi perguruan tinggi dan UMKM terbukti memperkuat daya saing lokal secara berkelanjutan. Program relevan bagi pengembangan ekonomi daerah.

Abstract

Penguasaan sistem operasi Linux menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam dunia teknologi informasi, namun masih banyak siswa SMK yang belum memiliki kompetensi dasar dalam penggunaan command line. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknis siswa melalui pelatihan dasar Linux. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dengan pendekatan hands-on, meliputi materi navigasi file, manajemen proses, jaringan, dan informasi sistem. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami dan mengimplementasikan perintah dasar Linux secara mandiri serta menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan kontribusi dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi kebutuhan industri serta memperkenalkan pemanfaatan teknologi open source. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di bidang teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Cassava (Manihot esculenta) is an important agricultural commodity in Indonesia, but its productivity can decline due to leaf diseases such as Cassava Mosaic Disease (CMD), Cassava Green Mottle (CGM), Cassava Bacterial Blight (CBB), and Cassava Brown Streak Disease (CBSD). These four diseases exhibit overlapping visual symptoms such as chlorosis, spots, and leaf discoloration, making them difficult to distinguish manually. This study aims to create a digital- based cassava leaf image classification system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm and ResNet50 architecture. The dataset used consists of 9,436 cassava leaf images taken from the TensorFlow platform and processed through resizing, normalization, selective augmentation, and the application of transfer learning. The experiment compared various optimizer configurations, learning rates, batch sizes, and balanced and unbalanced dataset scenarios. The evaluation was conducted using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results show that the best performance was obtained on an unbalanced dataset using the Adam optimizer (learning rate 0.001; batch size 64) with an accuracy of 80.69% and an F1-score of 79.76%. Meanwhile, balancing the dataset actually reduced performance to an accuracy of 77.14% and an F1-score of 76.48%. Analysis of the loss curve and confusion matrix confirmed that the natural data distribution provided more stable generalization, although misclassification still occurred in classes with similar visual symptoms. These findings indicate that ResNet50 is effective for classifying cassava leaf diseases and has the potential to support early detection in digital agriculture practices.

Abstract

Computer vision is a data transformation retrieved or generated from webcam into another form in means of determining decision. All kinds of transformations are carried through to attain specific aims. One of the supporting techniques in implementing computer vision on a system is digital image processing as the objective of digital image processing is to transform digital-formatted picture so that it can be processed in computer. Computer vision and digital image processing can be implemented in a system of capital letter introduction and real-time handwriting reading on a whiteboard supported by artificial neural network mode “perceptron algorithm” used as a learning technique for the system to learn and recognize the letters. The way it works is captured in letter pattern using a webcam and generates a continuous image that is transformed into digital image form and processed using several techniques such as grayscale image, thresholding, and cropping image.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung perekonomian masyarakat, namun banyak UMKM yang menghadapi permasalahan dalam meningkatkan daya tarik produk. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi Catering Kapapah Jaya adalah kemasan produk yang belum memiliki identitas usaha serta kegiatan promosi yang masih sangat terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan kemasan produk dan keterbatasan dalam promosi yang dihadapi oleh Catering Kapapah Jaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pendampingan kepada mitra. Hasilnya pihak UMKM dapat melakukan rebranding kemasan yang menjadi ciri khas usaha serta mampu meningkatkan promosi melalui media sosial yang dapat membantu memperluas jangkauan pemasaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem absensi berbasis mobile yang mampu meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, serta akurasi dalam pencatatan kehadiran. Sistem absensi konvensional yang masih mengandalkan pencatatan manual memiliki berbagai kelemahan, antara lain potensi terjadinya kecurangan, kesalahan pencatatan data, keterlambatan rekapitulasi, serta keterbatasan dalam pengelolaan dan penyimpanan data kehadiran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah sistem absensi berbasis teknologi mobile yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode rekayasa perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan waterfall, yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem. Sistem dikembangkan pada platform mobile dengan dukungan basis data terpusat yang memungkinkan penyimpanan dan pengolahan data kehadiran secara real-time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem absensi berbasis mobile ini mampu mempermudah proses absensi bagi pengguna, mempercepat pengolahan data, serta menghasilkan laporan kehadiran yang lebih akurat dan terstruktur. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, seluruh fungsi utama sistem berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Dengan demikian, sistem absensi berbasis mobile ini dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi alternatif yang efektif dan efisien dalam pengelolaan absensi.

Abstract

CV Karya Mandiri adalah entitas bisnis dagang yang membutuhkan manajemen persediaan terorganisir guna mendukung kelancaran operasional. Kendala utama yang dihadapi saat ini adalah pencatatan stok yang masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan terpisah, sehingga kerap memicu selisih antara data catatan dengan fisik barang di gudang. Studi ini difokuskan pada perancangan sistem inventaris mobile berupa purwarupa antarmuka menggunakan tools Figma. Kerangka pengembangan mengadopsi model Waterfall, dengan penekanan pada fase analisis kebutuhan serta desain sistem tanpa mencakup tahap penulisan kode. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah prototipe aplikasi mobile yang memuat fitur autentikasi, dasbor, manajemen barang, rekapitulasi transaksi, hingga laporan stok. Prototipe ini didesain sebagai fondasi pengembangan tahap lanjut untuk mengoptimalkan efisiensi serta validitas data inventaris pada CV Karya Mandiri.
