The Muhammadiyah Student Association or IMM is a representation of the Muhammadiyah student movement engaged in the realm of science, religion and humanity. All three are very attached as representatives of the Islamic student movement. Moreover, structurally it has a very close relationship with the Muhammadiyah organization. This article will try to examine empirically and rationally the IMM movement in responding to contemporary thoughts and issues, especially those related to issues of education and cadre, religion and humanity, as this movement was originally initiated.

Ilmu Astronomi adalah ilmu yang memusatkan perhatiannya kepada objek berupa benda – benda angkasa termasuk bumi, bulan dan matahari serta gejala – gejala yang ditimbulkannnya. Dengan harapan agar benda – benda angkasa tadi dapat diamati dan diperkirakan kejadiannya, yang kejadian itu memiliki pengaruh terhadap kehidupan manusia di bumi. Di era kemajuan dalam berbagai bidang seperti zaman sekarang ini teknologi ilmu falak dan astronomi juga mengalami kemajuan yang begitu pesat. Namun hal ini sangat disayangkan karena masih sangat sedikit dari kalangan umat Islam yang memahami akan hal ini. Disebabkan budaya intelektual umat islam yang belum berkembang. Dimana sebenarnya, melalui pengkajian ilmu falak inilah umat islam dapat memasuki kembali khazanah budaya intelektualnya untuk kembali menguasai peradaban ilmu dan teknologi di dunia. Sehingga harapan besar dari Islam  dapat terwujud yaitu umat Islam  mampu membangun peradaban yang unggul dan utama. Tulisan ini berupaya mendeskripsikan bagaimana sejarah intelektual Islam yang pernah jaya pada abab pertengahan, untuk kemudian kita bangkitkan kembali pada era modern hari ini (dimana hari ini umat islam sedang dialanda kejumudan) melalui pintu gerbang pengkajian ilmu falak atau ilmu Astronomi. Karena dengan pengkajian ilmu astronomi diharapkan umat Islam mampu membangkitkan minatnya mengkaji kembali peran pentingnya ilmu dan teknologi, dengan tidak meninggalkan peran syariah dalam praktik dan teorinya.

This paper reviews the personal concept of transformative Muslims according to Buya Hamka. This topic is expected to contribute in the Islamic educational thought as an alternative of thought amid the educational problems in Indonesia. One of the problems that emerge today is the neglect of values and morals in each educational activity. By carrying out library research, this article revealed the concept propounded by Buya Hamka regarding with transformative Islamic education that should be emphasized on maximal efforts in fostering and strengthening the personality of transformative Muslims, resulting in changes toward more humanist, liberative and transformative attitudes and behaviors. Individual personality that includes the mind, soul, aspiration and physical figure should be developed comprehensively. Educational efforts in building a transformative Muslim personality can be carried out by practicing the activities of thinking and working. For the world of education, success in an educational leadership is determined from the analysis of management characteristics based on a systems approach: input, process and output. The output of an educational institution is school achievement resulting from the learning process and school management as a measure of quality. This system is strongly influenced by good leadership performance (transformational leadership). The presence of this paper is to be able to find a concept map so that the rational way of thinking on the influence of transformational leadership can be understood more easily. This paper discusses how the values of the prophetic spirit coined by Kuntowijoyo can enter certain aspects in the management of Islamic education. This is important because what often happens the concept of management is more focused on administrative matters so that it loses its substantive meaning, namely directed, structured, and character-oriented. This paper is written in the form of scientific articles that refer to scientific books and documents. The result is, that educational management must be focused on the spirit of transcendence which means having a divine dimension, liberation means freeing humans from the shackles of life, and humanization which means being able to synergize goodness towards an organized goal.

This study aims to determine the thoughts of  Buya Hamka and Mohammad Natsir regarding integralistic Islamic education and to identify the similarities and differences in the thoughts of the two figures regarding integralistic Islamic education. This research is motivated by the development of Islamic education in Indonesia as well as the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the concept of integralistic Islamic education which combines worldly and ukhrawi elements becomes one of the solutions in the midst of educational change. Buya Hamka and Mohammad Natsir are national Islamic figures who lived at the same time but have different educational backgrounds.This type of research is a type of library research (library research). The research approach in this study uses historical and philosophical approaches and data analysis uses history and comparative analysis. The results of this study conclude that the concept of integralistic Islamic education thought according to Buya Hamka and Mohammad Natsir is guidance that combines ukhrawi elements (morals, spiritual, emotional) and worldly elements (intellect, body, skills) based on tawhid to complement human nature and lead humans to their original nature. Then the similarity of the two concepts is in the meaning, educational goals, students, and material that must cover the science of religion and the world. Education is a process of humanizing humans. Humans who are worthy to be role models on earth, and humans who can heed the good life order. Either according to religious guidelines or according to other norms. Efforts to formulate concepts of education are part of an operational framework so that the educational goals of each concept can be realized. Therefore, this study was conducted using the approach of contemporary thinkers through the thoughts of Mohamad Iqbal, Al-Attas, Al-Faruqi, and Hossein Nasr. Beside as part as being a revelation, Koran is also a human guide book in carrying out all life activities. So understanding it is an obligation for every Muslim, one method for that is munasabah Koran. In addition to knowing the meaning in each verse or letter. The munasabah method is very important in building a framework of thought in the world of science and education. This research was carried out to know the role of Rohis extracurricular in shaping the morals of students at SMA Negeri 1 Tayan Hilir, and the things that support and hinder these activities. Data collection is based on real conditions in the field or field research and includes qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The result of this research is that the implementation of Rohis in SMA Negeri 1 Tayan Hilir in its role in moral formation has been said to be quite good and effective. Where Rohis is a da'wah institution for the formation of students' morals with several activities such as reading and writing the Qur'an (BTA), Friday donations, fast boarding schools, comparative studies, and social services. The response of the students was also good, they were happy and enthusiastic about the religious activities held by Rohis. Supporting things such as the appreciation shown by the school and the students, a good environment for the development of student character, and adequate infrastructure. Adanya kesesuaian proses pada Program Studi dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang dibutuhkan oleh pengguna dan kerangka kurikulum yang tepat dalam implementasinya adalah syarat mutlak keberhasilan sebuah pengajaran di perguruan tinggi. Termasuk Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam UMS sebagai bagian penting di dalamnya. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini hadir untuk memberikan kerangka atau gambaran peta jalan bagaimana design kurikulum yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan para pengguna atau user. Selain itu, tulisan ini menjadi penting, karena mencoba melihat tingkat kepuasan stakeholder dalam hal ini sekolah (negeri dan swasta) terhadap kompetensi lulusan Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta baik pada aspek kompetensi peadagogik, kepribadian, sosial maupun profesional. Dengan kata lain tulisan ini bermaksud memotret dan membahas tingkat kepuasan sekolah atau lembaga pendidikan yang menjadi stakeholder atau user alumni Prodi PAI hingga mampu memunculkan rekomendasi untuk diimplementasikan pada kurikulum yang tepat bagi pengembangan Prodi PAI.
