Abstract

The presence of technology in work has an extraordinary positive impact because it can make many jobs easier and at the same time put pressure on a number of employees with very heavy workloads due to demands for automation and fast-paced work. As a result, psychological problems arise, levels of stress and depression, which in turn will result in disruption to employees' mental health, which is something that is found in employees. This condition must be immediately addressed properly by the company considering the impact that will occur on the company where employees with a weak level of resistance will decide to take the decision to resign. Employee mental health problems in this case have an important role which will certainly be a trigger that makes it easier for employees to experience boredom and stress which will lead to the desire to resign from work. The changes that occur also have an impact on the workload currently borne by employees, not only in the form of demands to be able to work by adapting to very rapid changes in technological developments but also the variety of work so that one employee can bear several of the responsibilities of another. Furthermore, employees are also required to quickly complete work on time, which results in employees at work experiencing work pressure due to the changes that are currently occurring. The aim of this research is to describe how much mental health conditions, workload and work pressure encourage employee resignation in the digital era

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran yang dimainkan oleh brand image kopi Arabika sebagai mediator antara paket wisata dan minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke Danau Laut Tawar. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Sampel akan dipilih dari wisatawan yang mengunjungi Danau Laut Tawar, dengan fokus pada persepsi wisatawan terhadap brand image kopi Arabika dan sejauh mana hal tersebut memengaruhi minat wisatawan untuk mengunjungi destinasi tersebut. Analisis data akan menggunakan teknik mediasi untuk mengevaluasi peran brand image sebagai mediator antara paket wisata dan minat wisatawan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa brand image kopi Arabika memainkan peran signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara paket wisata dan minat wisatawan untuk mengunjungi Danau Laut Tawar. Para responden menilai bahwa brand image kopi Arabika memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam memperkuat daya tarik destinasi tersebut. Brand image yang kuat dari kopi Arabika di sekitar Danau Laut Tawar memberikan dampak positif terhadap persepsi wisatawan tentang destinasi tersebut. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah pentingnya memperhitungkan brand image lokal dalam merancang strategi pemasaran dan promosi pariwisata. Pengelola destinasi dan pelaku industri pariwisata dapat memanfaatkan brand image kopi Arabika sebagai salah satu aspek yang memperkaya daya tarik destinasi Danau Laut Tawar. Dengan memahami peran brand image sebagai mediator, wisatawan dapat mengembangkan kampanye promosi yang lebih efektif dan menarik bagi calon wisatawan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to build a model of innovation capability, co-creation, and value based selling on the marketing performance of dodol entrepreneurs in North Sumatra. This study uses an explanatory research type with a quantitative approach. Questionnaires were given to the Dodol UKM craftsmen in North Sumatra as many as 60 respondents with a sample technique using a purposive sample based on predetermined criteria. Analysis of the data using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing using path analysis smartpls. Based on the test, it is explained that the overall hypothesis in the study has a positive and significant effect. First, the Co Creation variable has a positive and significant effect on the innovation capability variable and the marketing performance variable. Furthermore, the Value-based selling variable also affects the innovation capability variable and the marketing performance variable. The innovation capability variable also has a positive and significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

This study supposed to analyze the contribution of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to customer retention in independent coffee shop businesses, using Coffeeshop Saga Kahwa as a case study. Amidst intense competition and the challenge of maintaining customer loyalty, CRM implementation becomes a crucial strategy to drive repeat visits and build long-term customer relationships. The research applies a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) as the analytical technique. CRM is measured through four dimensions: customer orientation, technology-based CRM, knowledge management, and service quality, while customer retention is evaluated based on indicators of loyalty and repurchase intention. The results show that all four CRM dimensions have a positive and significant effect on customer retention, with an R Square value of 0.803, indicating strong combined influence. These findings imply that the strategic application of CRM, even at the small business level such as independent coffee shops, can significantly enhance customer loyalty and business competitiveness.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the quality of the Accounting Vocational Competency Examination (Ujian Kompetensi Keahlian/UKK) at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Medan through the active involvement of academic professionals as strategic partners. The school faces several challenges, including limited access to qualified external examiners, a lack of integration between the school curriculum and industry standards, and the need to improve the validity of assessment instruments. The program was conducted through several stages: needs assessment, training in competency-based test development, technical assistance during the UKK implementation, and evaluation of exam outcomes. The results indicate that the involvement of academicians not only improved the validity and reliability of the UKK process but also strengthened the linkage between secondary education and higher education institutions. Moving forward, this collaboration is expected to continue through curriculum alignment and teacher competency development.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of brand image and product quality on sales performance at UD. UMEGA Roti Kacang Hj. Eliya Lubis in Tebing Tinggi. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews involving consumers of Roti Kacang Hj. Eliya Lubis. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The findings reveal that both brand image and product quality have a positive and significant effect on sales. Among these, product quality plays a more dominant role in driving sales growth, indicating that consistent product excellence is critical to sustaining consumer interest and loyalty. Conversely, while brand image also positively influences sales, its impact is comparatively weaker, suggesting the need for strategic enhancement of brand perception. Strengthening both dimensions is essential for maintaining competitiveness and ensuring sustainable business development in an increasingly dynamic market environment.

Abstract

Business performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is crucial in reducing poverty rates in a region. This is because business performance is believed to create jobs, increase community income, and drive local economic growth. There are three factors that influence the business performance of MSMEs: product innovation, digitalization or technology utilization, and marketing strategies. The urgency of this research stems from the absence of a business performance model for MSMEs aimed at reducing poverty rates in Langkat Regency. The objectives of this study are to identify the potential and challenges of MSMEs, formulate development strategies for MSMEs, and develop a business performance model based on innovation, digitalization, and marketing strategies to reduce poverty rates. The method used in this study is quantitative with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results of the analysis are expected to contribute to the development of an effective business performance model for MSMEs in reducing poverty. From the study results, it was found that adjustments are needed to the model design developed in the previous study. Based on primary questionnaire data from 50 MSMEs in Langkat Regency, it was found that the factors influencing MSME business performance in Langkat Regency contribute to reducing poverty rates.

Abstract

The researcher selected PT. Arista Auto Lestari Medan as the object of study due to a decline in employee performance within the company. Performance is the output of employees working within the company, which significantly impacts the company's ability to achieve its goals. The decline in employee performance is attributed to workload and work pressure, which cause employees to experience stress and depression in meeting the targets demanded by the company. Additionally, the lack of incentives for employees who nearly reach the targets set by the company leads to decreased morale, further contributing to the decline in employee performance. The research method used by the researcher is a quantitative approach, with the type of research being descriptive quantitative. The population consists of all 78 employees, and the sample includes the entire workforce. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that work stress and incentives have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination value of 0.427, indicating that work stress and incentives affect employee performance by 42.70%. The remaining 57.30% is influenced by other factors not studied, such as leadership, physical work environment, and work discipline

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kepemimpinan Perusahaan dan Modal Intelektual Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bumdes: Kemampuan Inovasi Sebagai Variabel Pemoderasi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis asosiatif dan kuantitatif. untuk mengkaji bagaimana suatu variabel memiliki keterkaitan atau berhubungan dengan variabel lain, atau apakah suatu variable dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya. Adapun yang menjadi lokasi tempat penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor Camat Kutambaru yang beralamat di Jl. Puskesmas, Lau Lugur, Salapian, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra 20773. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Bumdes yang berlokasi di Desa Perkebunan Maryke Kecamatan Kutambaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data SEM PLS (Structural Equational Modelling) bertujuan melakukan analisis jalur (path). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan BUMDes mempunyai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.556. Ini menunjukkan bahwa jika semakin tinggi kepemimpinan perusahaan yang diterapkan dilingkungan BUMDes maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kinerja keuangan BUMDes di Desa Perkebunan Maryke. Modal intelektual terhadap kinerja keuangan BUMDes mempunyai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.403. Ini menunjukkan bahwa jika semakin tinggi modal intelektual karyawan BUMDes maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kinerja keuangan BUMDes di Desa Perkebunan Maryke. Secara langsung kemampuan inovasi terhadap kinerja keuangan BUMDes mempunyai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.764. Ini menunjukkan bahwa jika semakin tinggi kemampuan inovasi yang diterapkan dilingkungan BUMDes maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kinerja keuangan BUMDes di Desa Perkebunan Maryke. Secara tidak langsung kemampuan Inovasi Memoderasi kepemimpinan perusahaan terhadap kinerja keuangan BUMDes mempunyai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.419. Ini menunjukkan bahwa jika BUMDes Desa Perkebunan Maryke ingin meningkatkan kinerja keuangan BUMDes maka harus meningkatkan kepemimpinan melalui kemampuan inovasi. Dengan nilai probabilitas (p-values) sebesar 0.000 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of employee green behavior on the performance of green instructors in the Madrasah context in Medan City, using the frameworks of organizational ambidexterity and green self-efficacy. Adopting a quantitative research methodology, the study utilized surveys as the primary data collection tool. The research population consisted of all Madrasah instructors in Medan City, totaling 229 individuals, who also served as the research sample. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative statistical methods, specifically path analysis. Primary data were collected through surveys, while secondary data were obtained from official Madrasah records. The findings reveal that instructors’ green self-efficacy in Madrasahs in Medan City is significantly influenced by their green behavior. Moreover, environmentally sustainable practices positively impact organizational ambidexterity, which in turn affects teacher performance. However, organizational ambidexterity does not have a direct significant influence on green teacher performance. Conversely, employee green behavior indirectly enhances teacher performance through its effects on organizational ambidexterity and green self-efficacy.
