Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: Untuk mengetahui perencanaan manajemen strategis pengembangan SDM, Untuk mengetahui proses manajemen strategis pengembangan, Untuk mengetahui implementasi manajemen strategis pengembangan, Untuk mengetahui peningkatan manajemen strategis pengembangan SDM di SMK 8 Muhamadiyah Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dimana penelitian kualitatif lebih menekankan analisisnya pada proses penyimpulan deduktif dan induktif. Hasil penelitian menunnjukkaan bahwa Kepala sekolah di di SMK 8 Muhamadiyah Medan telah membuat perencanaan manajemen strategis pengembangan SDM di SMK 8 Muhamadiyah Medan dengan menerapkan kedisiplinan, motivasi, kontrol, serta pemberian penghargaan. Proses manajemen strategis kepala sekolah untuk pengembangan SDM di SMK 8 Muhamadiyah Medan dengan disiplin dalam melaksanakan, memberikan dukungan dan motivasi dalam melakukan pekerjaannya memberikan penghargaan kepada guru untuk memotivasi meningkatkan kinerja yang positif dan produktif..Implementasi manajemen strategis kepala sekolah pengembangan dengan mengikuti kegiatan seminar yang mana guru belajar, berbagi dan saling bertemu dari berbagai bidang di seluruh Indonesia untuk bisa mengikuti ragam seri belajar serta berbagi ragam bentuk pembelajaran; dan 2) mengikuti MGMP yang mana melalui MGMP telah memacu semangat guru dalam menciptakan metode pengajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Telah terjadi peningkatan setelah manajemen strategis kepala sekolah pengembangan SDM di SMKS Muhammadiyah 8 Medan yang dilihat dari jawaban sangat sering dan sering yang hampir seluruh responden menjawab dengan jawaban tersebut. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of leadership in schools on teacher performance, and the role of teacher motivation as mediating the role of leadership in schools on teacher performance. The population of all Vocational High School teachers in the Medan Tuntugan District was 112 teachers. The sample was determined using a proportional random sampling technique, so that the total sample for the study was 88 teachers. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire measured by a 5-point Likert scale, while the data analysis technique used Path Analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the principal's leadership has fostered good cooperation and relationships, effectiveness, participation, delegating time, and delegating authority. The teachers studied had the motivation to excel, the need to expand association, the need to master a job. Teachers also have good performance as indicated by the fulfillment of work quality, work quantity, reliability and attitude. The findings of this study also show that the stronger the principal's leadership will improve teacher performance, the principal's leadership is also able to increase teacher work motivation, and work motivation will contribute to teacher performance.

Abstract

Manajemen sumber daya manusia ini merupakan suatu bentuk pengakuan akan pentingnya anggota organisasi (personel) sebagai sumber daya yang dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan organisasi, pelaksanaan fungsi dan kegiatankegiatan organisasi untuk menjamin bahwa mereka dipergunakan secara efektif dan adil demi kepentingan organisasi, individu, dan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penulis tesis ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Manajemen Perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia Di Perguruan Tamansiswa pematangsiantar. Mendeskripsikan Manajemen Perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia yaitu : Perencanaan, Rekrutmen, Sleksi, Penempatan, Penampilan Kerja, Pelatihan dan Pengembangan, Kompensasi, Keselamatan Kerja, Penampilan Kerja, Pengembangan Karir, dan Kelanjutan (Pensiun). Hasil penelitian ini, saran-saran yang diajukan pada manajemen Perencanaan sumber daya manusia adalah bagi warga di Perguruan Tamansiswa Pematangsiantar, melakukan perencanaan sumber daya manusia yang baik, rekrutmen terhadap pelamar yang lulus syarat, seleksi dengan wawancara, penempatan yang kurang tepat sasaran, penampilan kerja, pelatihan dan pengembangan guna peningkatkan kemampuan tenaga pendidik, konpensasi yang tidak sesuai, keselamatan kerja kurang diperhatikan, pengembangan karier dan pembinaan hubungan kerja atau pensiun yang efektif. Bagi peneliti lanjutan, hendaknya hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan tembahan refrensi dan diharapkan pada peneliti lanjutan dapat melakukan penelitian yang lebih lengkap, tentang sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the planning, implementation and evaluation of the independent learning curriculum at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School and the level of effectiveness of implementing the independent learning curriculum management in increasing the competency skills of graduates in the industrial world. The research approach is a qualitative and quantitative embedded type, namely a qualitative approach as the primary method and quantitative as a secondary method. The research respondents were school principals, teachers and students at SMK Budi Utomo Binjai. The data collection tools are interviews, documentation and observation and questionnaires. The results of the research on independent learning curriculum planning and industrial work practices at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School were carried out at the beginning of the new school year, when class XI (semester 3 or 4) carried out internships. Then the planning for class X has been prepared. The school had a little difficulty with adding the practice time to 6 months, and having difficulty arranging the practice places proposed by students, if the places were too far away. Some of the activities in planning industrial work practices are needs analysis, industry mapping, outreach, selection of practice places and tutors, and debriefing. In addition, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum and industrial work practices at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School is carried out according to the schedule and the results of the agreement from the industry, which is approximately 6 months or 1 semester. However, schools have difficulty handing over, monitoring, and withdrawing students whose internship places are outside North Sumatera, this is due to factors of cost, distance, and time. Likewise, the evaluation of the independent learning curriculum and industrial work practices at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School was carried out by collecting data and analyzing it. Each department will report the results of their students' internships. The evaluation went according to the agenda, but in the evaluation activities the industry was not involved, this was because the school felt that the responsibility of the industry had been completed after the students withdrew from their practice place. In general, the implementation of independent learning curriculum management at Budi Utomo Binjai Vocational School in supporting the competence of graduates in the industrial world is very effective or 87% of respondents said it was very good.

Abstract

This study aims to describe curriculum development during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP IT Mutiara, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. A qualitative approach is used in this study with the case study method. In an effort to reveal the facts and phenomena surrounding the curriculum development, the researchers collected data through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study concluded that the development of the IT Mutiara Middle School learning curriculum during the Covid-19 pandemic was managed effectively, also taking into account the principles of safety and security for school residents according to applicable regulations. This is marked by 5 aspects, namely (1) the planning aspect, including meetings with the management and teachers of SMP IT Mutiara, consultation with the school's managerial supervisor, and approval of the plan from the Deli Serdang education office, (2) organizational aspects, including the curricular with an eye group A and B lessons, co-curricular, extra-curricular with scouts and tahfiz of the Qur'an, as well as local content on information and communication technology (ICT) material, (3) implementation aspects, five days (Monday-Friday) effective learning days , Saturdays extracurricular activities with the person in charge of the teachers who have been determined, (4) aspects of supervision, including direct supervision by the school principal and school managerial supervisors, related to academic administration and services, and (5) evaluation aspects including a review of the achievement of goals and process of the learning system, so that curriculum implementation can be analyzed, making accountability reports, and recommendations for next steps.

Abstract

This study aims to, (1) To know the Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Planning Process at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. (2) To know the Process of Implementing Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. (3) To determine the evaluation of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. (4) To find out whether there is an improvement in student learning outcomes after teachers apply Information and Communication Technology-Based learning management at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School. The approach is used mixed method. The design used in this study is The exploratory sequential design. The design of the sequential exploratory is in the first stage the researcher collects and analyzes data in the form of qualitative, then in the second stage collects quantitative data based on the results of the first stage. Some of the subjects that were studied. Some of the subjects used as data sources in this study are: principals, teachers, and students in four (SMP Negeri 1 Pematang Siantar, SMP Negeri 2 Pematang Siantar, SMP Negeri 4 Pematang Siantar, and SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar) Pematang Siantar, North Sumatea Province.  The results showed that there was an Activity of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Management in the planning process, implementation process, learning evaluation and there was an increase in student learning outcomes after teachers implemented Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Management at SMP Negeri Kota Pematang Siantar. From data analysis, it is known that the effectiveness of information and communication technology-based learning management at Pematang Siantar City State Junior High School has been effective.

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) is strongly tied to learning in the digital age, thus teachers and students must be able to use digital tools in all learning processes. It is evident that information technology significantly contributes to pupils' increased creativity in both large cities and rural towns. To fulfil all educational goals in general and school goals in particular, ICT application for increasing learning needs to be planned and evaluated according to the needs of students, teachers, and the school itself. According to the problem's issue, a literature review was used to collect data for this study. The study's findings indicate that planning is done to make the most of the ICT-based learning process. Planning starts by examining the requirements and circumstances of the school, including all of its strengths and weaknesses, and then evaluation is done to determine the ICT's dependability and strengths and weaknesses. For ICT to be used in the learning process, there must be a reliable internet connection. If there are issues with the learning process, the root reason may be quickly determined, and the primary solution is sought right away. According to the study's findings, ICT-based learning management can significantly enhance students' ability to learn to contemporary needs and the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

The aim of this study uses qualitative approach where by the researcher conducted the research directly in the field. The technique of data collecting was by observing, interviewing and doing documentation study at SMP IT Prima Mandiri. The informan in the this research are the principal,the vice principal and the discipline teacher. The interactive analisys model of miles and Huberman was used to analyse the data, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The tringulation technique, transferability test,dependability,and confirmability were used to verify the validity of the data. The problem of this researeh is to show that the learuing process is not as maximal as hoped in pedagogic competency,professional competency, sosial competency,and attitude competency in improving the teacher‟s competency at SMP IT Prima Mandiri.The findings of this study revealed three things, (1) the supervision program planning which was conducted by the principal in increasing the teacher‟s competence that had been arranged correctly based on the existing provisions,(2) the supervision technique which was conducted by the principal in increasing the teacher‟s competence was by using supervision technique individually and group,(3) the evalution of the supervision done by the principal in increasing the teacher‟s competence was marked by the teacher‟s performance. By Conducting this supervision program, it helped the teachers in facing every problem concerned with the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze: (1) the effectiveness of management of competency-based teacher education and training studied through the implementation of management functions which are planning, implementing, controlling and evaluating, and (2) the effectiveness as measured by Kirkpatrik’s Reaction and Learning Level. This study uses a combination methods of concurrent embedded with qualitative methods as the primary method. Concurrent embedded design is a research method that combines qualitative and quantitative research methods by mixing the two methods unequally. The research begins by collecting qualitative data and at the end of the research is supported by quantitative descriptive using average data and percentage levels. Quantitative descriptive data obtained by using a questionnaire. The research was conducted at the Center for Development and Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in the Field of Building and Electrical (BBPPMPV BBL) Medan. Primary data comes from interviews with 11 management elements of BBPPMPV BBL Medan and widyaiswara (trainer) and questionnaires to 85 teachers who are training participants of 6 training titles in the Electricity Expertise Program. The results of the research findings showed that education and training management had been carried out effectively. This is proven based on interviews and observations that the planning, implementation, control and evaluation of education and training are carried out well and in accordance with the education and training management theory put forward by Notoatmodjo (2011), Risdiyati (2012) and P.Siagian (1985). The results of the questionnaire also show that the education and training program is running effectively where: (1) evaluation results based on reactions show that 60.74% of training participants stated that they were satisfied and very satisfied with the implementation of the training, and (2) evaluation results based on learning levels showed that there was an increase in knowledge an average of 32.14 points.
