Abstract

Abstract: Malamang tradition is a tradition of cooking lamang or lemang together or mutual cooperation to commemorate traditional ceremonies and religious ceremonies and is still carried out until now by the people of the province of West Sumatra, especially in District V Koto Timur, Limau Puruik village. The purpose of this research is 1) to find out what is the meaning of Malamang, 2) to find out the procedure of implementing the nighttime tradition, 3) to find out at any time the nighttime tradition, 4) to find out the benefits of the nightang tradition in the lamang for the people of Limau Puruik Village, V Koto Timur District Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province, 5) To find out what values are contained in the nighttime tradition. Research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis. The results of this study the nighttime tradition is still carried out by the Limau Puruik community, V Koto Timur District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This tradition is also part of the entry of Islam in the West Sumatra Coast. This tradition is usually carried out in religious ceremonies such as commemorating the Maulid Nabi Muhamaad AS, welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan, welcoming Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, commemorating the death ceremony which is usually 40 days of death and this tradition is also held in the month of lamang on the month of Sa'ban.Keyword : Malamang Tradition , Limau Puruik Village

Abstract

Abstract: The development of the times affects the occurrence of change and causes various problems arise in the marriage customs of the Batak Toba community. Such amendment adds or reduces the obligations in marriage customs. The implementation of the marriage customs of the Batak Toba community was carried out in a long time and process, now shortened by the customary term ulaon realize (a feast that was completed for a day). In addition, the indigenous Batak Toba people in Sebanga were rarely / not intermarried but the Toba Batak community in Sebanga allowed their children to marry other tribes because the average Batak Toba community in Sebanga wandered and married with local women, and supported by women Toba Batak used to be rare in Sebanga, Duri. By having feelings and love for Toba Batak culture, Batak Toba society in Sebanga Duri founded a community named Perbato (Batak Toba Association). The purpose of this study is to determine the factors behind the formation of Perbato in Sebanga Duri, knowing how the role of Perbato in inheriting the marriage customs of the Batak Toba community in Sebanga Duri, knowing how the Toba Batak people in Sebanga Duri look at the existence of Perbato, knowing how the role of Perbato as a mediator for Completion of Toba Batak marriage customary problem in Sebanga Duri. The method used is Qualitative Approach. The research location was Sebanga, Duri. The time of study from the start of the proposal seminar to the thesis examination. The results of this study indicate that the role of Perbato in inheriting the marriage customs of Batak Toba community is something that can not be separated during the marriage ceremony which is legitimate according to the tradition of Batak Toba community in Sebanga Duri.Keywords: Role, Perbato, Inherit, Marriage, Toba Batak.

Abstract

Abstract: 1998 is a new milestone for the growth of the struggle Indonesian press, along with opening of the door of reform to establish a new political partai, the print media emerged and grow very rapidly. Developments in Riau newspaper can thrive well in compasison the new orde only one daily newspaper (Riau Pos) and one weekly newspaper (Genta) are active today orde of print media to survive until now. In 2004 Riau own 60 poblications includding approximately is daily, 35 weekly and tabloid magazine and newspaper as well as a number of camps. This study aims to determine (1) the development of newspaper before the reform period in riau. (2) to asess progress of newpaper reform period in riau. (3) The character of Riau press figure. (4) the impact of press freedom in Riau. As for this research uses qualitative research method to approach history and data collection techniques in the form of literature, observation, documentation and interview. This study has shown that development of newspaper in Riau reform period has developed very well which is caused because the press get legal recognition 40 of 1999 of the press.Key Words: Reform, Newspaper

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was (1) to find out the condition of the Siak Kingdom before Tengku Besar became Ragent. (2) to find out the condition of the Siak Kingdom during the Tengku Besar became Ragent. (3) to find out the end of Tengku Besar's tenure as a Ragent in the Siak Kingdom. Siak Kingdom is a Malay patterned kingdom which was founded in 1723 in Buantan with its first king, Raja Kecik, who was the son of Mahmud Syah II. The kingdom of Siak is led by twelve Sultan and one Ragent. This scientific paper will discuss the Tengku Besar Sayid Sagaf. Tengku Besar Sayid Sagaf is a Ragent in the Siak Kingdom. Tengku Besar Sayid Sagaf became Ragent in the Kingdom of Siak in 1908-1915. Tengku Besar is a cousin of Sultan Syarif Qasyim II. The research method used in this study is the interview method and literature review. The general results of the study, Tengku Besar Sayid Sagaf, became Ragent in the Siak Kingdom because Sultan Syarif Qasyim II was studying in Batavia. Abstract

Abstrak: From observation and experience in class 2 MTs. Darul Falah Salo, Kampar encountered in particular the impact the history lesson is of 21 students more than 50% (11 students) of them scored below a minimum completeness criteria (KKM) is set 75 schools on the subjects of history. Based on these results, the researchers are interested in knowing the appropriate actions to improve student achievement index to the school by using STAD type cooperative learning model in history lessons in class 2 MTs. Darul Falah Salo, Kabupaten Kampar.This classroom action research conducted in class 2 MTs. Darul Falah Salo, Kabupaten Kampar Academic Year 2016/2017 the number of students 21 people. This study was conducted in Mai 2016 to June 2016 consisting of two cycles.Based on the survey results revealed the activity of teachers in the first cycle with the clarification 23:00 Enough votes, while the second cycle increased with the clarification Very Good, it can be seen from the average score is 38.50 diproleh. Activities of students in the first cycle 128.5 (67.99%) with clarification, please vote. While on the second cycle increased by clarification of assessment is very good, it can be seen from the scores obtained by the average score between the first meeting and the second meeting of 173.5 (92.86%). The results of the first cycle study shows that classical learning outcomes are still low with an average of 65.47 or under KKM, while in the second cycle reached an average of 75.86 or rises above a predetermined KKM is 75.Key Words: Role, GPA, STAD

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is an anthropological country of 500 ethnic group language and culture features. Even more unique, earch of ethnic group has its own country of origin, historical experience and ancestry. In the countryside generates a variety of tradition that are very important and meaningful, but the villagers take the tradition as a regular thing that they routinely do and become something very valuable, unique and very interesting as important and sacred. The purpose of study is (1) To know the tradition history of lonely rhythmic in the wedding ceremony at the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District, (2) To find out the procedures of the tradition of parade in the wedding ceremony in the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District, (3) To know the values contained in the implementation of tradition a long the parade of wedding ceremony in the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District, (4) To know conservation effort the tradition of parade in the wedding ceremony in the village of Buluh Nipis Siak Hulu Kampar District. The method used in this research is the historical method. The result of this research is the tradition parade to ledges that tradition has long been in the village of Buluh Nipis in a wedding that started with negotiation and the beginning of the feast. The opening wedding ceremony marked by beating of talempong by ninik mamak and short speech, tradition parade to ledges becomes very important because it is a sign of respect and glory for the bride.Keyword: Tradition, Parade to Ledges, Wedding

Abstract

Abstract: Islamic boarding schools have been known in Indonesia since the days of Walisongo. At that time Sunan Ampel established a hermitage in Ampel Surabaya and made it an educational center in Java. The students who came from Java came to study religion. Even among the students who want to study there are those from Gowa, Talo and Sulawesi. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the background of the establishment of the Dar Aswaja Islamic boarding school. (2) To find out the development of Dar Aswaja Islamic boarding school in 1999-2012. (3) To find out how the community responded to the Dar Aswaja boarding school. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data obtained from the results of the interview are then analyzed in their own language. The research location is Sungai Pinang Village, Kubu District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Research time starts after the seminar proposal until the thesis examination. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Dar Aswaja Islamic Boarding School was established in 1989, the acceptance of the first santri or students was conducted in 1997 and ratified in 1999 which was pioneered by KH. Syaufi He had the idea to form an Islamic Boarding School educational institution that aims to educate the whole community, especially for the Kubu District so that the students would become useful for themselves, for the homeland and the nation.Key Words: History of Development of Dar Aswaja Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

Abstract: Education is a very important and always interesting to discuss, because the human personality can be formed only through education. The process of education allows for children to unlock and utilise their potential. Educational products are the nation and civilization, as long as both still exist then the educational process will continue to run. Therefore, it is often said that education is a preparation for life, but also education is a means to fight for the independence of Indonesia. The results of the research explain that the background of the founding of Vervlog School Rokan Hulu can not be separated from Ethical Policy of 1901. At this time it was based on the queen of the Netherlands Wilhelmina Ethical Policy which is known as the Dutch policy of repayment on every Kontler or Dutch government catered for the territory of regency to establish village schools both in Java and outside Java island, including Sumatra. The teachers who teach at this Vervlog School are from indigenous communities. In 1913 there were many children who did not want to go to school for fear of Dutch rule. So the Dutch government needed Upas or Police to find indigenous children who were going to school at Vervlog School and the children would be given a present. There are 5 (five) subjects studied in Vervlog School, they are: reading, writing, arithmetic, geography and memorization. At the beginning of the establishment, 1913-1945, this school was named Vervlog School, since independence in 1945 the school changed its name to Citizenry School, then it was renamed the Center School and after the New Order it became the State Elementary School 001 Rambah.Keywords : History, Vervlog School, Rokan Hulu.

Abstract : Siak is one of the districts located in Riau Province and has a lot ofculture and Islamic tradition since the Sultanate of Siak is still maintained. One of themin the village Mempura an area that was once the center of a great Malay kingdom ofthe Kingdom of Siak with culture and Islamic tradition is tradition Ghatib Beghanyut ,starting reinforcements ritual performed Siak community for generations. BeghanyutGhatib this tradition is an annual tradition or is only done once a year in every monthof Safar . Named Ghatib Beghanyut as an activity of remembrance , tahlil and prayerthat is done on the ferry and boat for the purpose of land fame , prosperity , peace andavoid all the plagues that will befall the public with an infectious disease such asmeasles , diarrhea and other diseases. The aim of research to find out the history of thetradition Ghatib Beghanyut in District Mempura Siak , to know the process ofimplementation of the tradition Ghatib Beghanyut in District Mempura Siak Regency ,to determine the function of tradition Ghatib Beghanyut in District Mempura SiakRegency , to determine the change in the tradition Ghatib Beghanyut in KecamatnMempura Siak , to determine the factors Siak community in conducting the ceremonytradition Ghatib Beghanyut in District Mempura Siak. In this research usingqualitative research methods . Qualitative method is a method that does not usenumbers in data collection and in providing interpretation of the results. In thisqualitative study using a descriptive approach. The results of research in general thatthe authors wrote beghanyut ghatib tradition is a tradition of local and communitystarting reinforcements in Siak . Abstract

Abstract: Japanese hole or Lubang Japang (Minang language designation) is one of the attractions that exist in the area of West Sumatra exactly in the middle of the park in Sianok canyon panorama below the town of Bukittinggi. Japang hole has a length of 1400 m and winding. The tunnel is located approximately two meters below the ground surface Bukittinggi. Japang tunnel or hole is a long historic tunnel for Indonesia in general because Japang hole is a foxhole or Japanese soldiers hiding place in the face of war. Japang holes built with the purpose of defense interests of the Japanese army in World War II and the Greater East Asia War. The purpose of this study was (1) To find out when the Japanese hole was made, (2) To know how chronological manufacture Japanese hole in Bukittinggi, (3) To find out who is involved in the manufacture of Japanese hole in Bukittinggi (4) For megetahui how the role of the people Indonesia in the manufacture of Japanese hole, (5) To know how to influence Japanese hole to Bukittinggi. This research method is the historical method or methods of history. The place is the town of Bukittinggi research that one historical object Japanese hole. When the study for 4 months, starting from the research proposal seminar continued with a thesis to graduate exam. Data collection techniques include five techniques namely engineering literature, technical documentation, interview techniques, observation techniques and data analysis techniques. The results of this study are Japang hole he made this Bukittinggi has two versions, the version of the Japanese officers and one version of Indonesian workers in London who is our fighters who live in Bukittinggi Agam. Japang hole is in the road near the canyon Sianok Panorama is a strategic place for the Japanese. Underground tunnel (Lubang Japang in Panorama) This is the result of the excavation of the workers who were deployed hundreds of numbers. Soil excavated to a depth of 1,400 meters and former dig soil dumped into the canyon which is essentially a very deep depth. At that time the excavation carried out on the orders of Lt.
