Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Gizi membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan otak anak.  Stunting adalah salah satu masalah gizi kronis yang paling umum dihadapi anak-anak di Indonesia.  Di Desa Pasir Nangka, Kecamatan Tigaraksa, Kabupaten Tangerang, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberi tahu orang-orang, terutama orang tua balita, tentang pentingnya mengikuti pola makan sehat untuk mencegah stunting.  Metode yang digunakan adalah Deskripsi kualitatif digunakan melalui fase sosialisasi, praktik, diskusi, dan wawancara.  Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap. Pertama, persiapan dilakukan dengan bekerja sama dengan Pos Gizi dan membuat materi tentang gizi telur puyuh dan sayur bayam serta tentang stunting. Kedua, pelaksanaan, yaitu penyuluhan dan demonstrasi masak "Cegah Stunting dengan Menu Sehat Telur Puyuh dan Sayur Bayam". Ketiga, pembagian makanan sehat kepada orang tua dan anak-anak, dan keempat, penutupan, yaitu diskusi dan evaluasi.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih memahami pentingnya gizi seimbang dan bagaimana membuat makanan sehat di rumah.  Sekitar 90% orang yang berpartisipasi mampu menjelaskan manfaat telur puyuh dan bayam serta menunjukkan komitmen mereka untuk mengikuti pola makan sehat.  Dinilai bahwa kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya bekerja sama untuk mencegah stunting dan dapat digunakan sebagai model untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kuliner sehat. Kata kunci: Peningkatan Gizi; Makanan Tambahan; Stunting. ABSTRACTNutrition helps children's brain growth and development. Stunting is one of the most common chronic nutritional problems faced by children in Indonesia. In Pasir Nangka Village, Tigaraksa Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency, this community service activity aims to inform people, especially parents of toddlers, about the importance of following a healthy diet to prevent stunting. The method used is qualitative description through the phases of socialization, practice, discussion, and interviews. The activity was carried out in four stages. First, preparations were made in collaboration with the Nutrition Post and materials were created about the nutritional value of quail eggs and spinach and about stunting. Second, implementation, namely counseling and cooking demonstrations on “Preventing Stunting with a Healthy Quail Egg and Spinach Menu.” Third, distribution of healthy food to parents and children, and fourth, closing, namely discussion and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that participants had a better understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition and how to prepare healthy meals at home. Approximately 90% of participants were able to explain the benefits of quail eggs and spinach and demonstrated their commitment to following a healthy diet. It was assessed that this activity increased public awareness of the importance of working together to prevent stunting and could be used as a model for community empowerment through healthy cuisine.
