Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi penerapan E-Government dan yang lebih khusus untuk meningkatkan produktifitas Bumdes . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Hunuth-Durian Patah Kecamatan Teluk Ambon, khususnya di Kantor Desa. Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini adalah data yang didapat dari observasi langsung, data tentang informan dan wawancara kepada staf kantor negeri dan beberapa warga Desa Hunuth. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan Government pada desa hunut sudah cukup baik namun ada beberapa hal yang perlu di perhatikan seperti memperbaharui isi dari website tersebut khususnya konten tentang Bumdes, harus di buat semenarik mungkin agar peminat Bumdes tersebut meninggkat dari hal tersebut tentunya produktifitas Bumdes tercipta.

Abstract

This study discusses the management of electronic archives across various institutions, focusing on effectiveness, efficiency, and its impact on employee performance. The study examines different strategies for optimizing digital archiving systems, including the implementation of correspondence management applications and relevant policies adopted by both the government and the private sector. Using a quantitative approach, this research is analyzed through statistical methods. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital archiving systems can improve work efficiency, reduce the risk of document loss, and accelerate access to information. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure, lack of employee training, and data security issues remain major obstacles to the successful implementation of these systems. Therefore, more comprehensive policies and ongoing training are needed to ensure the sustainability of effective and secure electronic archive management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the quality of teaching and learning process at Mis Al-Hilaal Wanakarta school is impacted by the aspects of teacher discipline. This study employs quantitative approach and uses saturated sample which involves twelve teachers. The data is gathered by observation, questionnaires with five possible answers on a Likert scale score choice form that are distributed to twelve teachers, and documentation as a supplementary method. The data is analyzed using a straightforward linear regression test that includes Spearman rank correlation and the determination coefficient test, t test, or partial test, and F test, or simultaneous test. According to the study's findings, (H_0)  is rejected and (Ha) is accepted, indicating a strong and positive relationship between the aspects of teacher discipline and the quality of teaching and learning process. This is supported by the Spearman rank correlation coefficient value of 0.6137. Based on the R Square value of 0.517 obtained from the simple linear regression test, there is a 51.7% impact of the teacher discipline aspects on the quality of teaching and learning process. The results of the t test shows that the variable aspects of teacher discipline have a significant impact on the quality of the teaching and learning process (t value (3.269) > t table (1.812) with a significance of 0.008 <0.05), and the results of the F test shows that the F value is 10.683 with a significance of 0.008 <0.05.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify and analyze the factors contributing to the decline in employee performance within the Finance Division of the Secretariat of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Ambon City.. Methodology/Approach: A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The Finance Division of the KPU Secretariat in Ambon City was selected due to the researcher’s internship experience, which facilitated access and contextual understanding. Results/Findings: Employees exhibit strong job knowledge, regulatory adaptability, and professional conduct. However, heavy workloads occasionally lead to delays. Despite this, accuracy and regulatory compliance remain high. Ongoing efforts are focused on enhancing interdepartmental coordination and administrative efficiency. Conclusions: Staff in the finance, general, and logistics divisions demonstrate dedication, flexibility, and awareness of work-life balance. They are continuously improving their skills to better support the operations of the KPU Secretariat in Ambon. Limitations: The study is limited to the Finance Division of the KPU Secretariat in Ambon City and may not fully represent other divisions or locations. Additionally, the qualitative nature of the data may limit broader generalization. Contribution: This research offers insights into employee performance management in public sector institutions, particularly those related to electoral processes. It contributes to human resource management literature and provides recommendations for enhancing employee well-being and operational efficiency in government agencies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the public service innovation "Sama Thukel" implemented by the Regional Revenue Agency of Maluku Province. Public service innovation is a critical element for improving the quality of governance and enhancing the public's trust in government institutions. "Sama Thukel" is a digital-based public service innovation designed to facilitate taxpayers' access to regional tax services, ensuring efficient and transparent processes. Through qualitative methods, including interviews and document analysis, the study explores the design, implementation, challenges, and impact of this innovation on taxpayers and the agency itself. The findings reveal that the "Sama Thukel" program has significantly improved taxpayer compliance, reduced bureaucratic inefficiencies, and created a more transparent and accountable system. However, challenges remain in terms of digital literacy and the need for continuous system upgrades. This research highlights the importance of adapting public service innovations to local contexts and the role of technology in enhancing governance. The study concludes by offering recommendations for optimizing the "Sama Thukel" program and ensuring its sustainability.

Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the utilization of Village Funds in the implementation of development programs in Poka Village, Teluk Ambon District, as part of the broader dynamics of decentralization and grassroots development in Eastern Indonesia. The study focuses on local participation and administrative efficiency in managing Village Funds. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Ten purposively selected informants represented various key stakeholders within the village. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the use of Village Funds in Poka Village has been effective, as evidenced by the high realization rate of development programs and adherence to plans formulated through participatory village planning forums. Community involvement throughout planning and implementation reflects a relatively strong participatory model, although challenges remain in terms of administrative capacity and consistent reporting. The novelty of this study lies in its emphasis on the relationship between fiscal decentralization structures and local participation dynamics in Eastern Indonesia—a region often overlooked in rural development literature. The study recommends strengthening village governance capacity and promoting more systematic community involvement to improve fund management effectiveness.

Abstract

This study was conducted to enrich the literature and scientific understanding of the phenomenon of poverty, especially in urban contexts such as Ambon City. The method applied in this study is Qualitative with in-depth interview techniques. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Evaluation of Poor Family Protection Policy in Ambon City. shows that although the poor family protection policy in Ambon City provides benefits, there are obstacles in accessibility, coordination between agencies, and budget limitations that hinder program optimization. In addition, dependence on assistance and lack of community participation in policy planning are factors that inhibit its effectiveness. This study suggests improving the reporting and evaluation system, increasing coordination between agencies, and empowering the community to support the sustainability off the program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of supervision and work discipline on employee productivity at the Social Service Office in Ambon City. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents working at the Social Service Office in Ambon City. Data analysis techniques used include validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that supervision has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. In addition, work discipline also significantly influences employee productivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that good supervision and a high level of work discipline can improve employee productivity at the Social Service Office in Ambon City. This study provides important implications for organizations to pay attention to effective supervision and efforts to enhance work discipline to improve employee productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan publik di Kota Ambon dengan fokus pada dimensi-dimensi utama seperti keandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik. Tujuannya adalah mengevaluasi efektivitas penyelenggaraan layanan serta mengidentifikasi area yang memerlukan perbaikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan studi kasus dan observasi lapangan di Kota Ambon. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, analisis dokumen, dan survei yang melibatkan penyedia dan penerima layanan. Model SERVQUAL digunakan sebagai alat untuk menilai indikator kualitas layanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun beberapa dimensi layanan telah memenuhi harapan masyarakat, masih terdapat kesenjangan yang cukup besar terutama dalam hal daya tanggap dan jaminan. Keterbatasan infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia menjadi faktor utama penyebab ketidakefisienan layanan. Selain itu, adopsi teknologi juga belum merata di berbagai sektor pelayanan. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada ruang lingkup yang hanya mencakup Kota Ambon dan belum mempertimbangkan variasi layanan publik di daerah lain. Ketergantungan pada data kualitatif juga dapat menimbulkan subjektivitas dalam analisis. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi dalam bidang administrasi publik dengan menyajikan wawasan terkait penilaian kualitas layanan pada tingkat pemerintahan daerah. Temuan ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi pembuat kebijakan dan lembaga pemerintah dalam upaya meningkatkan pelayanan publik.

Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze the quality of public services at the Leihitu Barat District Office. Quality public service is a key indicator in assessing the performance of local governments, particularly at the sub-district level, which directly provides services to the community. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the current service conditions. The informants in this study totaled 10 people, consisting of district officials and community members who use the services. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations of service activities at the sub-district office, and documentation of relevant supporting documents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis with a case study approach, providing a comprehensive picture of existing problems and potentials. The assessment of service quality is based on Zeithaml’s theory, which includes five main dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The research findings indicate that the quality of public services at the Leihitu Barat District Office has not yet met optimal standards. In terms of tangibles, it was found that physical facilities such as waiting areas, service desks, and supporting equipment are still very limited. The reliability dimension is also not well fulfilled, as the service processes are often inconsistent and not timely. The assurance dimension reflects a lack of professional ability and attitudes among officials in providing a sense of security and trust to the public. However, the dimensions of responsiveness and empathy show relatively positive developments. Some officials have demonstrated responsive and empathetic attitudes in addressing the needs and complaints of the public. Nonetheless, comprehensive improvements are still necessary. These include enhancing the quality of human resources, increasing the availability of physical infrastructure, and improving service management systems. By addressing these areas, public services at the Leihitu Barat District Office can become more effective and better aligned with community expectations.
