Abstract

This study aims to analyze the crucial role of the Head of Study Program (Kaprodi) leadership in influencing and enhancing student learning motivation, particularly in the context of Islamic higher education. This study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) method with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Primary and secondary data sources come from 42 reputable scientific journal articles published between 2020 and 2025. The data analysis techniques used are content analysis and narrative synthesis, based on transformational leadership theory and expectancy theory. The results show that the Head of Study Program's leadership plays a role through three dimensions: the Instructional Dimension (curriculum optimization and lecturer quality), the Managerial Dimension (creating a collaborative and supportive academic climate), and the Transformative Dimension (providing role models, inspiration, and intellectual stimulation). This role significantly increases students' intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The practical contribution of this study is to formulate a Head of Study Program leadership model that is adaptive to the demands of the digital era in Islamic Religious Higher Education

Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education has increased with the advancement of digital technology. Students utilize various AI applications, including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Grammarly, to master course material, complete academic assignments, and improve the quality of academic writing. This study aims to evaluate how students use AI and its impact on learning motivation in the digital era. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method through a literature review, examining journal articles, research reports, and related scientific materials published over the past five years. Data processing techniques include data simplification, data presentation, and inference. The study findings indicate that the use of AI produces positive effects, such as increased learning efficiency, material understanding, autonomy, and student learning motivation. However, uncontrolled application of AI can also trigger negative impacts, such as excessive addiction, decreased internal motivation, and the risk of violating academic ethics. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need for digital literacy, ethical awareness, and pedagogical integration of AI so that the technology can maintain student learning motivation optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep kepemimpinan visioner kepala madrasah berbasis nilai-nilai Islam sebagai model kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam mengatasi berbagai tantangan pendidikan di era globalisasi dan digitalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan menelaah berbagai literatur ilmiah yang relevan, seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel yang membahas tentang kepemimpinan visioner dan nilai-nilai Islam dalam konteks pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan visioner kepala madrasah ditandai dengan kemampuan merumuskan, mengkomunikasikan, dan mewujudkan visi jangka panjang yang berorientasi pada mutu akademik serta pembentukan karakter Islami. Kepala madrasah visioner mampu menginspirasi seluruh elemen madrasah untuk bekerja berdasarkan nilai dan tujuan bersama. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti shiddiq (jujur)  amanah (bertanggung jawab)  tabligh (komunikatif)  fathanah (cerdas), dan ‘adl (adil) menjadi dasar moral dalam mengarahkan lembaga pendidikan menuju perubahan yang konstruktif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Merdeka Curriculum in enhancing student competencies through a systematic literature review of 28 selected articles published between 2020 and 2025. The review followed the PRISMA framework, involving identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and final inclusion stages. Data were synthesized using a structured extraction table to analyze research objectives, methods, findings, and relevance to the Merdeka Curriculum. The results indicate that the curriculum supports more flexible, differentiated, and project-based learning, contributing to improvements in creativity, independence, and higher-order thinking skills. Several studies also highlight increased student engagement and the development of the Pancasila Student Profile as central outcomes of the curriculum's implementation. However, challenges persist, including varied teacher readiness, limited learning resources, and inconsistent school-level support, which influence the curriculum's overall effectiveness. The discussion emphasizes that while the Merdeka Curriculum holds strong potential to transform learning, its success depends on systemic factors such as professional development, resource availability, and administrative commitment. The study concludes that the curriculum offers a promising framework for modern education but requires strengthened implementation strategies to achieve its intended impact across diverse educational settings

Abstract

This study explores the development of Quizizz-based vocabulary materials for junior high school students using the ADDIE instructional design model. The ADDIE model comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation provides a systematic approach to creating effective learning materials. The research focuses on how each phase of ADDIE can be applied to design interactive and engaging vocabulary lessons using Quizizz, a gamified digital platform. The study emphasizes the importance of conducting a thorough analysis of students’ needs, designing content that aligns with curriculum goals, and developing quizzes that incorporate multimedia elements for enhanced learning. The materials are implemented in the classroom and evaluated based on student performance and engagement. Findings suggest that the combination of the ADDIE model and Quizizz enhances students’ vocabulary retention, motivation, and participation. The results also show the potential of digital game-based learning in language education, especially in increasing student engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop supplementary speaking materials for tertiary-level EFL students using the ADDIE model. The development was intended to support speaking instruction and provide additional materials for students’ speaking practice. This research used a research and development approach that followed the five stages of the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data were collected through needs analysis, expert judgment, and students’ feedback on the developed materials. The findings showed that the supplementary speaking materials were appropriate and useful for supporting students’ speaking activities. The materials were considered relevant to students’ needs and suitable for use in tertiary-level EFL classes. In conclusion, the supplementary speaking materials developed through the ADDIE model can be used as additional learning resources to support speaking instruction for tertiary-level EFL students

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly changed the development of English teaching materials, especially in the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). These changes require curriculum designers to adjust their strategies and approaches so that teaching materials remain relevant, effective, and in line with the demands of 21st-century learning. This article focuses on analyzing the opportunities and challenges arising from the development of digital-based teaching materials by examining key concepts and frameworks in curriculum and teaching material development. This study uses a literature review approach, referring to theoretical sources related to curriculum design, types of digital materials, and principles of material evaluation. The findings show that digital transformation offers significant opportunities, including wider access to learning resources, flexible learning environments, and enhanced interactivity. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy, infrastructure constraints, and the need for rigorous material quality evaluation require careful attention. Overall, this study concludes that digital transformation has the potential to improve the quality of EFL material development, provided that curriculum designers have adequate digital competence and apply appropriate material evaluation principles

Abstract

Tantangan pendidikan di era digital menuntut pergeseran paradigma dari pengajaran ke pembelajaran, dengan menempatkan Pembelajaran Mandiri (Self-Regulated Learning/SRL) sebagai kompetensi inti abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan Materi Pengajaran Digital Adaptif (Adaptive Digital Teaching Materials/ADTM) yang secara eksplisit mengintegrasikan fitur-fitur yang mendorong kemandirian belajar dalam [Sebutkan Mata Pelajaran/Topik]. Studi ini menggunakan model Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) ADDIE dengan pendekatan metode campuran. Desain ADTM menekankan penyediaan umpan balik reflektif instan, kontrol navigasi non-linier, dan alat pemantauan diri visual, yang secara teoritis memfasilitasi tiga fase SRL (Pemikiran Awal, Kinerja, dan Refleksi Diri) [Hastuti & Wibowo, 2024]. Melalui validasi ahli dan pengujian lapangan, ADTM diharapkan mencapai validitas tinggi dalam konten dan media serta menunjukkan efektivitas yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan skor SRL siswa, sehingga berkontribusi pada pengembangan kurikulum berbasis hasil.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran refleksi inovatif sebagai pendekatan strategis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas, terutama melalui penggabungan kreativitas dan refleksi diri guru. Studi ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk menelaah beragam teori dan penelitian sebelumnya, guna memahami bagaimana proses refleksi dapat mendorong pertumbuhan profesional guru dan pengembangan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Hasil analisis literatur menunjukkan bahwa refleksi inovatif membantu guru mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pengajaran secara kritis, mengembangkan solusi kreatif, menyusun strategi pembelajaran adaptif sesuai karakteristik siswa. Dengan memadukan kreativitas dan refleksi diri, guru dapat menghadirkan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, relevan, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Artikel ini menekankan bahwa refleksi inovatif merupakan komponen penting dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, serta memperkuat kemampuan pedagogis guru di tengah perubahan dinamis dunia pendidikan

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas implementasi konsep-konsep manajemen modern yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan sebagai respons terhadap dinamika perubahan peningkatan mutu lembaga pendidikan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk engindentifikasi dan mengdeskripsikam konsep manajemen modern yang relevan untuk di terapkan di dalam pendidikan. metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan analisis isi terhadap berbagai literatur berupa buku, jurnal terindeks SINTA, dan scopus, serta sumber ilmiah lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep-konsep tersebut berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan, memperkuat efektivitas tata kelola, dan mendorong transformasi sumber daya manusia sebagai aset strategis lembaga, Selain itu, manajemen modern memungkinkan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih ilmiah, peningkatan efisiensi melalui digitalisasi, serta pengembangan budaya organisasi yang inovatif dan adaptif. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi manajemen modern memberikan arah strategis bagi lembaga pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman dan meningkatkan mutu secara berkelanjutan.
