Abstract

Classroom management is a crucial element in conducting effective learning in higher education, especially in the context of public administration, which emphasizes the optimal management of educational resources. The background of this research is based on the importance of improving student discipline and participation as indicators of successful learning processes. The aim of the study is to analyze effective classroom management strategies to enhance student discipline and participation through a literature review of various Indonesian scientific journals. The research method uses a systematic literature study with a qualitative approach, identifying and analyzing various classroom management strategies that have been implemented in academic settings. The results show that implementing strategies such as establishing clear classroom rules, active learning methods, positive reinforcement, utilizing educational technology, and managing interpersonal relationships between lecturers and students significantly increase discipline and participation. Internal factors such as student motivation and external factors such as institutional support also influence the effectiveness of these strategies. The impact of this research confirms that well-planned and consistent classroom management not only creates a conducive learning environment, but also contributes to improving the quality of learning and academic performance of university students. These findings can serve as a reference for policymakers and public administration practitioners in designing more effective educational management policies and programs.

Abstract

Bullying adalah masalah berat yang dapat menghancurkan suasana pendidikan, merugikan kesejahteraan peserta didik, dan mengganggu proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. SMKN 9 Muaro Jambi yang berada di Provinsi Jambi, juga tidak menutup kemungkinan mengalami permasalahan ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan tindakan nyata untuk mencegah dan menangani bullying di lingkungan sekolah tersebut. Penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) sebagai sarana kampanye anti-bullying merupakan solusi yang tepat dan efisien dalam menangani permasalahan ini. Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan bagi Organisasi Intra dan Ekstra Sekolah di SMKN 9 Muaro Jambi mengenai penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sebagai sarana kampanye anti-bullying. Melalui program pelatihan ini, diharapkan peserta dapat memahami signifikansi penggunaan TIK dalam melawan bullying, serta dapat mengasah keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk melaksanakan kampanye anti-bullying secara efisien dengan menggunakan teknologi. Luaran yang diharapkan dari pengabdian ini meliputi peningkatan kesadaran, di mana peserta pelatihan diharapkan dapat memahami lebih baik mengenai dampak negatif dari bullying serta pentingnya peran mereka dalam mencegahnya; Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan, peserta akan mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk menciptakan kampanye anti-bullying yang efektif di SMKN 9 Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

Budgeting activities have two important aspects, namely revenue or revenue planning and expenditure. Thus, the budget of an institution can depict the activities or programs that will be or have been implemented, as well as the amount of expenses incurred, enabling the assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of the programs listed in the budget. In this research, we focus on the financial management aspect of Education, specifically the issues related to the preparation of activity plans and school financing plans at SDIT Robbani Cendekia Ponorogo. This study adopts a qualitative approach, employing the field research method. The researchers actively gather data regarding the preparation of school activity plans and school budget plans through participant observation and interviews. The procedure for obtaining informants involves using purposive sampling techniques. Researchers then conduct on-site descriptions and undertake a literature study, examining various literatures, documents, and other works to refine this research. The process of preparing the School Activity Plan and the School Activity Budget Plan is carried out through an annual working meeting attended by all foundation officials and educational institution administrators (TPAIT, PGIT, TKIT, and SDIT), the school principal, teachers, and staff. During the budget preparation process, priority scales are set for the implementation of school programs. Additionally, consultations are held to reach a consensus on the required budget and the amount of funds that need to be raised from the community to execute the school programs. These consultations take place through commission meetings, and the outcomes are presented together at a plenary meeting to obtain approval from all organizational elements. Subsequently, all parents are invited to participate in a socialization event to inform them about the educational programs for the upcoming year.
