Abstract

Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan universitas dalam beradaptasi dengan revolusi industri 5.0 adalah blended learning, yaitu metode pembelajaran hybrid menggabungkan secara online dan tatap muka. Pendekatan metode seperti itu, dapat memperkuat pengalaman mahasiswa menggunakan perangkat digital, yang sangat penting di dunia kerja di masa depan. Pola lama pendidikan tinggi tidak lagi cukup untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa memasuki dunia kerja. Kemampuan atau skills seperti berpikir kritis (critikal thinking), kreatifitas, dan adaptabilitas, semakin penting dimiliki mahasiswa. Universitas atau perguruan tinggi perlu menyesuaikan kurikulumnya untuk memastikan agar para mahasiswa memiliki skills yang dibutuhkan demi mencapai kesuksesan di era baru ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Universitas X tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih secara purposive random. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu distribusi tabel frekuensi. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran cukup menerapkan kampus merdeka dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 5.0., dan (2) faktor penghambat penerapan kampus merdeka menghadapi era revolusi industri 5.0 pada universitas X adalah pemahaman mahasiswa, pemahaman orang tua, dan industri yang masih baru menjadi penghambat dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 5.0; serta kurangnya literasi mahasiswa. Selanjutnya faktor pendukung penerapan kampus merdeka menghadapi era revolusi industri 5.0 pada universitas X adalah penggunaan digitalisasi, kemampuan dan kompetensi dosen, serta pengembangan program pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi dosen.

Abstract

Disruption of electricity supply is one of the main factors hampering industrial productivity, especially in the mining sector that relies on independent power plants such as generators. PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) experienced repeated problems related to damage to the Electric Module Control Panel (EMCP) in the Caterpillar 400 KVA generator set due to a sudden surge in current. This study aims to describe the process of implementing an additional protection system in the form of a protection relay and evaluate its effectiveness in preventing EMCP damage. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews, and studies of the company's internal documentation. The results showed that the protection relay system was able to eliminate the frequency of EMCP damage to zero incidents, reduce downtime from 7 days to 30 minutes, and reduce replacement costs from Rp34,000,000 to Rp100,000 per incident. This innovation also has a positive impact on the aspects of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale (QCDSM). This study suggests the application of protection relays as a safety system standard in mining industry generators and the need for further studies with a technical-quantitative approach to measure system performance more accurately.

Abstract

Boxes for drug storage are handy and essential and play a role in helping the healing process and support maintaining patient health regularly for a long time. SmartBox is not a new thing, but because of its importance, it, SmartBox continues to be developed to date according to the needs needed. In previous research, the formation of SmartBox was only for particular things. This study tries to unify the 17 papers obtained with the help of a publish and perish application which is then carried out a literature review and using the VosViewer application to get an overview of trend development and the essential factors or aspects in the formation of SmartBox and its development. In addition to getting the trend of SmartBox development, this research also finds seven essential factors that will be useful for Smartbox development. With this research, it hopes that it will facilitate the development of SmartBox in the future.

Abstract

Bulldozer D85ESS-2 operating in the ROM Support Area of PT Putra Perkasa Abadi Site MIP Lahat often experiences engine lacks power problem, which disrupts productivity and increases maintenance costs. This problem is generally caused by air contamination entering the engine system, resulting in decreased combustion efficiency and component damage. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of pre-cleaner implementation as a preventive measure in overcoming this problem. The method used was a quantitative approach with the collection and analysis of operational data from the D85ESS-2 bulldozer before and after the installation of the pre-cleaner. The data analysed included the frequency of occurrence of the engine lacks power problem, downtime duration, and fuel usage. The results showed that the implementation of a pre-cleaner on the D85ESS-2 bulldozer at PT Putra Perkasa Abadi successfully resolved the problem of engine lacks power by reducing the accumulation of coal dust in the air cleaner. The test results show significant improvements in engine performance, with most parameters meeting the set standards. Thus, the use of a pre-cleaner improves combustion efficiency, reduces maintenance costs, and extends engine life.
