Abstract

The Psychological Instrument Writing Training for Research Foundation aims to increase the understanding and interest of teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Patalassang in conducting psychological research and being able to publish it in journals. Psychological research can help teachers become more effective in teaching and help students achieve their learning potential. The problems faced by teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Patalassang are (1) limited information on how to conduct psychological research, and (2) the need for guidance from competent parties in developing psychological variable instrument. The solution offered is to provide material on writing psychological instruments as a research foundation. The speaker provides material that suits the problems in the partner school, but also motivates teachers to develop the great potential that the school and teachers have. The implementation stage consists of two stages. The first stage is divided into two sessions, the first session is about delivering research materials and psychological variable instruments. The second session is a question and answer session. The second stage is the training session for developing psychological variable instruments. The training method used is through lecture, discussion, and simulation.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on raising awareness about the importance of digital security for women with disabilities in the city of Makassar. It addresses the following issues: 1) Some women with disabilities have experienced being victims of digital crime. 2) Lack of understanding about digital data security makes it difficult for them to identify fraud and protect their personal information on digital devices. 3) Limited knowledge on maintaining data security while using digital devices, resulting in a lack of strategies to stay vigilant against digital crime threats. The objective of this activity is to enhance the understanding of digital security among women with disabilities, enabling them to use digital devices correctly and safely. By doing so, we aim to empower women with disabilities to become less susceptible to digital crimes. This socialization initiative employs various methods such as lectures, discussions, tutorials, and demonstrations. These sessions focus on improving data security and prevention techniques, addressing the prevalent digital crimes occurring in today's world. The outcome of this community service activity is an increased understanding and awareness among participants regarding the evolving digital era and the need to be vigilant when using digital devices. Consequently, we anticipate participants to be capable of enhancing data security on their respective digital devices. Furthermore, this socialization effort also nurtures participants' interest and skills in promoting the use of digital technology to enhance digital data security for women with disabilities, particularly in the city of Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran digital berbasis pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 4 Bajeng. Dalam proses penerapannya kemudian dikaji hal-hal positif yang dimunculkan dalam pembelajaran digital yang berbasis pada karakter dalam proses pembelajaran pada siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa siswa mendapatkan pengalaman yang berbeda saat diterapkan pembelajaran digital. Kemudian siswa juga dengan pembelajaran digital berbasis karakter menjadi lebih terarah dalam penggunaan berbagai media digital dalam proses pembelajaran karena telah dibekali pengetahuan-pengetahuan terkait kemandirian, kejujuran, sikap positif, amanah dan tanggungjawab serta kedisiplinan yang mencerminkan karakter positif dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran digital di sekolah. Hal ini kemudian berdampak positif dalam proses pembelajaran ke depannya jika diterapkan oleh guru dalam pembelaran digital yang berbasiskan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mendesain media pembelajaran digital yang mendukung kegiatan mentoring mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada pelatihan perancangan modul digital berbasis Canva, yang dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pemahaman teoretis serta keterampilan praktis dalam mengembangkan modul yang menarik, komunikatif, dan efektif. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Makassar yang terlibat sebagai mentor dalam program pembinaan mahasiswa baru. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, mahasiswa didorong untuk merancang modul digital yang berfungsi sebagai panduan bagi mentee dalam mengenal nilai-nilai akademik, etika, serta budaya kehidupan kampus. Hasil efektivitas pelatihan diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test, yang menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 62 menjadi 87. Sebanyak 12 kelompok berhasil menghasilkan modul digital dengan konten relevan dan visual yang menarik, dinilai “baik” hingga “sangat baik”. Selain itu, hasil evaluasi juga menunjukkan bahwa 94% peserta merasa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas mentoring dan mendorong mahasiswa menjadi agen pembelajar yang inovatif melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital.

Abstract

The ability to write poetry is an important part of learning Indonesian language and literature because it supports the development of self-expression, creativity, and language skills. However, in reality, many junior high school students still have difficulty expressing their ideas and feelings in the form of communicative and meaningful poetry. This community service activity aims to provide poetry writing training to students of Muhammadiyah Rappang Junior High School through an expressive approach. This approach emphasizes students' freedom to express their thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences into poetry. The method of implementing the activity includes counseling, poetry writing practice, and joint reflection. The results of the training showed an increase in students' interest and ability in writing poetry. Students become more confident in expressing inner experiences through more varied diction, imagery, and language styles. In addition, the expressive approach encourages an inclusive and participatory learning atmosphere. Thus, this training not only improves poetry writing skills, but also builds students' emotional and aesthetic awareness. This activity is expected to be a model of literacy activities that can be applied in other schools in order to strengthen character education and artistic expression.

Abstract

The aim of training on the use of E-Learning-based learning media for teachers in increasing the use of digitalization at SMP 1 Bontonompo is to enrich teachers' insight in utilizing various types of media currently available in their teaching process. Teachers who are still monotonous in their learning process are given training so they can take advantage of current technological developments. This will certainly have a good impact on students. The implementation method for this service is through lectures, questions and answers, as well as direct practice in using e-learning based learning media. The results obtained in this training are that subject teachers or training participants are able to utilize E-leaning-based learning media as digital learning media, as well as creating innovative spaces in the learning process by utilizing technology. The implementation of this training also motivates teachers to be more proactive in developing media and learning materials. With additional learning methods applied, it is hoped that student learning outcomes and teacher insight will increase. By facilitating the internet in learning, access to various worlds and fields of knowledge will become wider so that it will increase students' knowledge that is not only obtained in class.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the implementation of the Teaching Factory (TeFa) program through students’ perceptions using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The evaluation focused solely on students’ viewpoints as direct beneficiaries of production-based vocational learning, excluding teachers’ and industry partners’ perspectives. A quantitative survey method was employed, involving 70 students from SMKN 10 Makassar, who completed a 12-item questionnaire with high internal reliability (Cronbach’s α = 0.894). Data were analyzed descriptively and through Spearman’s rank correlation to examine the relationships among the CIPP dimensions. The results indicate that students’ perceptions of TeFa implementation were within the “fair to good” range: Context (47.14% fair, 28.57% good, 24.29% very good), Input (41.43% fair, 38.57% good, 18.57% very good), Process (40% fair, 42.86% good, 14.29% very good), and Product (40% fair, 30% good, 24.29% very good). All dimensions showed positive and significant correlations (ρ = 0.619–0.794, p < 0.001), with the strongest relationship between Process and Product (ρ = 0.794), indicating that better learning processes are closely linked to improved learning outcomes. In conclusion, the Teaching Factory program is perceived as moderately effective by students. Improvement efforts should prioritize the Input dimension such as facilities, learning materials, and industrial engagement—and strengthen the Process dimension through enhanced mentoring and integration of production activities. Future research should involve teachers and industry partners to provide a more comprehensive CIPP-based evaluation.
