Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Augmented Reality (AR) technology utilization on students' level of learning interest in delivering learning materials. A literature review method was employed to gather and analyze relevant sources of data regarding the research topic. The research findings indicate that the use of AR technology in learning contributes positively to students' level of learning interest. AR provides an interactive, captivating learning experience that captures students' attention by presenting learning materials in visual and sensory formats. Moreover, AR also enhances students' learning motivation through enjoyable and satisfying learning experiences. These findings suggest that educators should actively integrate AR technology into learning to improve the quality and effectiveness of the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of the home work environment, team interaction, and online training on employee productivity within the Indonesian education sector operating under a hybrid work model. A quantitative analysis was conducted, involving 160 employees from various roles within educational institutions. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) 3 software. The findings reveal significant positive relationships between the home work environment, team interaction, online training, and employee productivity. Conducive home work environments, robust team interactions, and effective online training programs emerge as critical factors in enhancing workforce performance in remote and hybrid work settings. The study contributes to a nuanced understanding of contemporary work dynamics and offers practical insights for organizational strategies aimed at fostering productivity in the Indonesian education sector.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are essential competencies that students must master in the global era, which is filled with challenges. One of the rapidly growing educational media is the E-book, offering high flexibility and interactivity to support independent learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of E-book usage in enhancing critical reading skills among early-year students. The research employs a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design applied to two groups: a control group using printed books and an experimental group using E-books. Data were collected through critical reading ability tests and student participation questionnaires. The results indicate that students using E-books showed a significant improvement in critical reading skills compared to the control group. Additionally, E-books were found to increase reading interest and student engagement in the learning process through interactive features provided. However, challenges such as access to digital devices and technological literacy remain. Therefore, appropriate strategies are needed to optimize E-book use as a learning medium in higher education. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for developing relevant curricula in the digital era and strengthening the integration of technology in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using biopore holes in Pasuluhan Village as a means of absorbing rainwater and producing natural compost. To manage the intensity of rainwater entering the soil and processing organic waste, Pasuluhan residents can create biopore absorption holes as a simple technology that has great potential in managing the intensity of rainwater absorbing into the soil and managing organic waste. The method used includes making biopore holes in 6 strategic locations in the Pasuluhan area. Several points were used to make biopore holes, namely at the residences of Pak Sukriadi, Pak Subur and Pasuluhan Village. The research results show that biopore holes are able to increase the soil’s absorption capacity for rainwater, which has a positive impact in reducing waterlogging and flooding. Apart from that, biopore holes have also proven effective in processing organic waste into compost which is beneficial for soil fertility. Thus, it is hoped that the application of this technology can be a practical and environmentally friendly solution and can be easily applied by local residents in managing water and waste resources in the Pasuluhan area.

Abstract

This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to map global trends in educational program evaluation, focusing on research outputs, thematic evolution, and key scholarly networks from 2000 to 2024. Utilizing citation metrics, yearly publication graphs, and VOSviewer visualizations of keyword co-occurrences, the research identifies significant shifts in thematic focus, delineates interconnected research clusters, and highlights the influential contributions within the field. The analysis reveals a notable increase in publications related to educational evaluation during the early 2000s with a peak between 2010 and 2018, indicating heightened research interest coinciding with global educational reforms. Thematic clusters around "educational program," "quality management," and "leadership" underscore a multidisciplinary approach integrating educational theory with business management practices. This study underscores the field's adaptation to evolving educational needs and points towards emerging areas requiring further exploration, such as digital evaluation techniques and program-specific assessments.

Abstract

Several factors influence teachers’ work commitment and students’ academic achievement. These factors include instructors’ emotion regulation skills and their level of involvement in school decision-making. This study aimed to determine how teachers’ emotional intelligence and participation in decision-making influence their dedication to their work. One hundred and fifty educators participated in this quantitative investigation through a survey. Teachers’ emotional intelligence, participation in decision-making, and commitment to their work were assessed using a questionnaire. The impact of these variables was tested through data analysis using regression techniques. Positive and statistically significant effects of emotional intelligence and participation in decision-making on teachers’ dedication to their work were observed. Emotionally intelligent teachers are more dedicated to their jobs because they can better handle stress, form strong relationships with students, and overcome obstacles.Furthermore, being part of the decision-making process fosters a more substantial personal investment in school policies and programs, increasing dedication to the work to improve teachers’ dedication to their work and the quality of education their students receive; this study has significant implications for school administration and professional development programs for educators. This research further examines the real-world consequences for school administrators and policymakers who want to foster an atmosphere encouraging teachers to be emotionally intelligent and have a voice in classroom decisions.

Abstract

Blood pressure is one of the non-communicable diseases that has become a global public health issue, as it often presents without symptoms but can lead to serious complications. Physical activities such as low-impact aerobic exercise have been proven to gradually and safely help reduce blood pressure, particularly in adults and the elderly. This study aims to determine the effect of low-impact aerobic exercise on blood pressure among residents of Kampung Bendung RT.04/RW.02, Bendung Subdistrict, Kasemen District, Serang City. The research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design: one group pre-test and post-test. The study was conducted over five weeks with exercise sessions held once a week. The sample consisted of 20 women aged over 30 who participated regularly in the exercise sessions. Blood pressure measurements were taken before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the intervention using a digital sphygmomanometer. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference in blood pressure before and after the exercise, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) for both systolic and diastolic pressure. The average systolic blood pressure decreased from 128.42 mmHg to 123.19 mmHg, and the diastolic pressure from 82.66 mmHg to 78.27 mmHg. It can be concluded that low-impact aerobic exercise is effective in lowering blood pressure and can be used as a preventive physical activity alternative for individuals at risk of hypertension.

Abstract

The phenomenon of early marriage is still common in various regions in Indonesia, including Bendung Village, Kasemen District, Serang City. This practice is not influenced by a single factor but rather the result of a combination of interrelated elements. Low levels of education mean that many adolescents, especially girls, lack the knowledge and skills to delay marriage and pursue career opportunities. Economic pressure within the family is also often cited as a reason, with parents believing that marrying off their children at a young age can reduce financial burdens. Furthermore, strong cultural norms and values, including the belief that early marriage can maintain family dignity, further reinforce this practice. This study aims to assess the impact of early marriage on the economic development of the local community. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis. A total of 60 respondents who married before the age of 19 served as the research sample. Normality tests showed that the collected data were normally distributed, making them suitable for further analysis. The results of the regression analysis indicate that early marriage has a significant impact on the community's economic condition, with a significance value of 0.018. These findings indicate a clear relationship between the high rate of early marriage and the decline in the economic conditions of families in the area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keamanan privasi pada media sosial melalui studi kasus penggunaan data pribadi di Facebook dan Instagram, dengan fokus pada kesadaran privasi, praktik kontrol pengguna, titik paparan data yang dominan, serta hambatan yang menyebabkan risiko privasi berulang. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur pada pengguna Facebook, Instagram, dan pengguna yang mengombinasikan keduanya. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengodean tematik menggunakan codebook yang mencakup kesadaran jejak digital, personalisasi konten/iklan, kontrol audiens, penggunaan lokasi dan tag, izin aplikasi pihak ketiga, pengalaman insiden, serta strategi keamanan akun.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar informan telah memiliki kesadaran privasi pada level dasar, terutama terkait jejak digital dan fenomena personalisasi konten. Namun, kesadaran tersebut belum sepenuhnya terkonversi menjadi perilaku protektif yang konsisten. Kontrol privasi yang paling umum dilakukan adalah pengaturan visibilitas akun, pembatasan audiens konten, dan seleksi pertemanan/pengikut, sedangkan kontrol lanjutan seperti evaluasi izin aplikasi, pengelolaan tag/mention secara ketat, serta penguatan keamanan akun belum menjadi kebiasaan rutin. Titik paparan data paling sering muncul melalui fitur interaksi sosial, termasuk aktivitas grup/komunitas di Facebook, tag/mention dan penyebaran ulang konten di Instagram, serta pesan langsung yang rentan terhadap phishing dan manipulasi sosial. Hambatan utama yang teridentifikasi adalah literasi privasi yang terbatas dan kompleksitas pengaturan privasi yang dianggap rumit atau tidak efektif.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan privasi memerlukan literasi berbasis keterampilan, panduan tindakan praktis, serta penyederhanaan kontrol privasi oleh platform agar pengguna mampu menerapkan perlindungan secara konsisten.

Abstract

Google Classroom adalah layanan berbasis internet yang disediakan oleh Google sebagai sebuah aplikasi e-learning (pembelajaran dalam jaringan). Penggunaan aplikasi google classroom juga efektif dalam penyampaian materi maupun pengumpulan tugas karema tidaklah menggunakan alat tulis. Setiap guru dan siswa dapat dengan mudah mengupload power point, video maupun soal-soal dengan menggunakan google classroom. Sehingga memotivasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajarnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Aplikasi Google Classroom baik digunakan sebagai Media Pembelajaran Bagi Siswa. Untuk mengetahui kebermanfaatan Aplikasi Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi TIK mampu meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar bagi siswa.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII semester genap dengan sampel 3 siswa. Dilakukan 4 kali pertemuan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, tahap penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemanfaatan aplikasi google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran berpengaruh positif meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Persepsi siswa terhadap aplikasi google classroom sangat beragam. Beberapa dari pendapat siswa dapat dipahami bahwa aplikasi google classroom adalah aplikasi yang sangat praktis dan menarik dengan memiliki berbagai fitur serta dapat dimanfaatkan seperti G-Mail yang dapat digunakan untuk bertukaran pendapat antar siswa terkait materi. G-Drive yang berfungsi sebagai wadah atau tempat untuk penyimpanan hal-hal penting terkait pembelajaran, dan waktu untuk mengingatkan deadline tugas. 2) Motivasi Belajar mereka semakin meningkat karena model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dalam aplikasi google classroom.
