Abstract

TransMetro Deli Urban Transport is a bus-based transportation system in Medan City that started operating on 22 November 2020, with a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) transportation system. TransMetro Deli buses provide 5 corridors around the area in Medan City. For Route K2M Terminal Amplas - Bank Indonesia - Terminal Amplas has a fleet of 10 main units and 2 backup units and passes 36 stops. This research begins with collecting data in the field directly and then analyzed including load factor, Headway, stopping time, and travel time on Weekdays and Weekends on the K2M route. Based on the analysis results obtained for Load Factor in Weekdays for Morning, Afternoon, and Evening are 14%, 8%, and 20%, while for Weekend are 12%, 15%, and 20%. For Headway in Weekdays in the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening are 10 minutes 16 seconds, 10 minutes 27 seconds, and 11 minutes 31 seconds, while in Weekend are 9 minutes 47 seconds, 9 minutes 40 seconds, and 10 minutes 2 seconds. For Downtime on Weekdays in the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening are 9 seconds, 9 seconds, and 10 seconds, while for Weekend are 7 seconds, 7 seconds, and 8 seconds. For Travel Time in Weekdays in the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening are 1 hour 13 minutes, 1 hour 16 minutes, and 1 hour 18 minutes, while in Weekend are 1 hour 3 minutes, 1 hour 14 minutes, and 1 hour 13 minutes.

Abstract

Hospitals are places of activity that provide vital services to the community. In reality, most hospitals are faced with the problem of providing parking facilities. One of them is the difficulty of providing parking space facilities that match the actual level of demand. The aim of the research is to obtain information on parking demand by modelling car and motorcycle parking. The methods used are linear regression and non-linear regression methods. On poly days for car parking demand with the equation: Y₁=8.166×10-89× 41.386 X₁ and motorcycles with the equation: Y₂=7553.126-1112960.605/X₁, Y₂=6033.071-1392502.512/X₂, and Y₂=6389.337-1570378.771/X₃. On non-poly days for car parking demand with the equation: Y₁=868,250-3,250X₂ and motorcycles with the equation: Y₂=-457,000 + 6,000X₄.

Abstract

From www.portibinews.com regarding the Audit Results Report of the North Sumatra Representative Audit Agency which was issued on May 26 2022 that the work at the North Sumatra Province Public Works and Spatial Planning Service in the 2020 budget year was Improvement of the Provincial Road Structure of the Jembatan Merah – Muarasoma Road Section in Mandailing Natal Regency there is a lack of volume and a lack of quality of work. The physical inspection of this work was carried out together with the Budget User Authority (KPA), the Activity Technical Implementation Officer (PPTK), the Supervisory Consultant, and the North Sumatra Province Inspectorate. This is the basis for this study to analyze the Critical Success Factor (CSF), identify CSFs that have a significant effect on the success of the implementation of asphalt paving work on North Sumatra Province roads in Mandailing Natal Regency and analyze the effect of CSFs on the achievement of performance indicators. The Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis method is used in this study to analyze the CSF performance of the implementation of asphalt paving work on North Sumatra Province roads in Mandailing Natal Regency. This analysis method uses the help of Smart PLS software. PLS-SEM is more suitable for developing exploratory research that has limited theory development and PLS-SEM is also more suitable for use if the research data is ordinal (eg: Likert scale) and nominal and ignores normally distributed data (nonparametric). The results of the analysis show that the Critical Success Factor that has an impact on the success of the implementation of asphalt paving work on North Sumatra Province roads in Mandailing Natal Regency is the supervision factor with a value of 0.406 having the greatest impact. Other factors such as labor factors (0.281), environmental standard factors (0.228), quality test standard factors (0.214), equipment factors (0.176) have a moderate impact, while design error factors (0.109), material factors (0.088), work method factors (0.026) have a small impact. On the other hand, the factors that significantly influence the success of the implementation of asphalt paving work on North Sumatra Province roads in Mandailing Natal Regency in achieving performance indicators are the work method factor (X4), the quality test standard factor (X5), the environmental standard factor (X6), the supervision factor (X7), and the design error factor (X8). Overall, the Critical Success Factor factors for the performance of the implementation of asphalt paving work on North Sumatra Province roads in Mandailing Natal Regency influence the success in achieving performance indicators by 15.3%, while other variables outside this regression model influence the rest (100 - 15.3 = 84.7%).

Abstract

Tingginya jumlah penduduk diberbagai kota besar seperti Kota Medan membuat berkembangnya gedung di kota ini semakin pesat. Hal ini mempengaruhi kebutuhan pile pada suatu pondasi yang bangunan karena perkembangan bangunan yang memiliki konsep vertikal maka diperlukan pondasi yang kuat untuk menerima beban dari struktur atas (upper structure). Pondasi yang digunakan di Kota Medan rata-rata menggunakan pondasi bored pile, karena pondasi yang tergolong pondasi dalam ini memiliki dampak getaran yang kecil dalam pengerjaannya dan cocok digunakan di area padat penduduk. Hal ini sangatlah menentukan desain pondasi bored pile yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan proyek. Strategi penelitian yang digunakan untuk menjawab perumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah mengumpulkan data dari lapangan (proyek) data tanah. Kemudian dianalaisis dengan metode Reese and O'neill yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai daya dukung dari hasil uji SPT dan menghitung besarnya penurunan yang terjadi pada pondasi bored pile proyek Menara BRI-Medan secara analitis dan dengan metode elemen hingga menggunakan perangkat lunak PLAXIS 2D dan PLAXIS 3D dengan jenis tanah Mohr-Coulomb dan Hardening Soil. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, daya dukung ultimate bored pile berdasarkan data SPT dengan menggunakan persamaan O’Neil dan Reese adalah 388 ton sedangkan hasil interpretasi loading test dengan metode Davisson memberikan nilai 240 ton, metode Mazurkiewich 325 ton dan metode Chin 344 ton. Untuk besar penurunan bored pile tunggal, secara analitis dengan metode elastis menghasilkan besar penurunan 3,40 mm, analisis berdasarkan FEM PLAXIS 2D Mohr-Coulomb penurunan maksimum sebesar 4,51 mm dan Hardening Soil penurunan maksimum sebesar 3,85 mm, serta analisis berdasarkan FEM PLAXIS 3D Mohr-Coulomb penurunan maksimum sebesar 3,87 mm, dan Hardening Soil penurunan maksimum sebesar 3,41 mm. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa persamaan O’Neil dan Reese memberikan nilai lebih besar dari pada interpretasi pengujian pembebanan sehingga akan memberikan nilai keamanan yang besar jika digunakan saat desain dan analisis penurunan yang paling mendekati hasil di lapangan adalah analisis dengan PLAXIS 3D dengan jenis permodelan Hardening Soil dan perhitungan analitis

Abstract

Komposit yang memiliki sifat dan perilaku tarik yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan beton sering dikenal dengan sebutan engineered cementitious composites (ECC). ECC biasanya terbuat dari semen, air, pasir silika, material cementitious, serat, dan bahan tambah lainnya dengan proporsi tertentu. Istilah mortar ECC digunakan karena ECC tersebut tidak menggunakan serat. Abu cangkang sawit (ACS) digunakan sebagai material cementitious pada riset ini. Sedangkan sebagai pengganti serat, digunakan crumb rubber (dengan proporsi 2,5%; 5%; 7,5%; 10% dan 12,5% dari berat semen) untuk membentuk CR-ECC. Workability diukur berdasarkan uji slumpflow yaitu pengukuran T500 dan diameter slumpflow. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau penggunaan variasi crumb rubber terhadap slumpflow adukan segar CR-ECC yang berbasis abu cangkang sawit. Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian slumpflow, diperoleh diameter sebaran slumpflow rata-rata (D) dari adukan segar CR-ECC terletak antara 710 mm sampai dengan 930 mm, sedangkan waktu sebaran slumpflow (T500) dari adukan segar CR-ECC yaitu berkisar antara 0,90 detik sampai dengan 1,68 detik. Hasil pengujian slumpflow dari adukan segar CR-ECC menunjukkan workability yang baik, dan sudah sesuai dengan ketentuan standar. Penggunaan crumb rubber dapat mempengaruhi workability karena factor daya serapnya terhadap air, namun keterlibatan penggunaan superplasticizer ternyata sangat berperan dalam mempertahankan workability adukan segar CR-ECC, sekalipun nilai faktor air semen (f.a.s) konstan.

Abstract

The success of construction projects is influenced by many factors, one of which is the competence of human resources (HR). This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource competencies on the success of construction projects at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) of North Sumatra Province. This study uses a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach on primary data obtained from 50 respondents from technical implementation units within the PUPR Office. The results show that the experience, loyalty, and certification of experts have a significant influence on the success of construction projects. These findings confirm the importance of strengthening human resource capacity through training and certification to improve overall project performance.

Abstract

Rendahnya realisasi retribusi sampah rumah tinggal di Kelurahan Padang Bulan Kecamatan Medan Baru Kota Medan disebabkan rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sampah kota. Penyebab rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dikarenakan rendahnya layanan persampahan kota. Respon 100 orang responden masyarakat yang tinggal di Kelurahan Padang Bulan dan sekitarnya menunjukkan nilai WTP rata-rata lebih rendah daripada nilai ATP rata-rata. Nilai WTP lebih rendah daripada ATP menunjukkan rendahnya layanan persampahan kota dimana nilai ATP rata-rata (kemampuan membayar retribusi sampah) sebesar Rp 25.712,50 /bulan dan nilai WTP rata-rata (kemauan membayar retribusi sampah) sebesar Rp 23.000,- /bulan. Retribusi sampah yang ditetapkan secara bottom-up berdasarkan ATP-WTP dan peningkatan layanan persampahan akan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat Respon 92 % masyarakat Kelurahan Padang Bulan bersedia membayar retribusi sampah Rp 25.000,-/bulan jika sampah diangkut terjadwal setiap hari setelah TPS 3R sudah beroperasi dan dikelola oleh USU. Penetapan retribusi sampah yang bottom-up berdasarkan ATP-WTP mendorong peningkatan realisasi retribusi sampah rumah tinggal di Keluarahan Padang Bulan. Perkiraan realisasi retribusi sampah meningkat 47,4 % di Kelurahan Padang dengan retribusi sampah Rp 15.000,-/bulan skenario pesimis dan realisasi retribusi sampah meningkat 145,7 % di Kelurahan Padang Bulan dengan retribusi sampah Rp 25.000,-/bulan skenario optimis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa investasi TPS 3R di Kampus USU layak dijalankan dan menguntungkan berdasarkan analisa finansial dengan skenario optimis retribusi sampah rumah tinggal Rp 25.000,-/bulan yang ditetapkan secara bottom-up berdasarkan ATP-WTP pelanggan sampah rumah tinggal di Kelurahan Padang Bulan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan rute transportasi dan biaya pengangkutan sampah di TPS 3R USU menggunakan metode Saving Matrix dengan bantuan Machine Learning Python. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada meningkatnya volume sampah seiring pertumbuhan penduduk, khususnya di Kota Medan, yang menghasilkan sekitar 2.000 ton sampah per hari. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah ketidakefisienan rute pengangkutan sampah, yang menyebabkan pemborosan waktu dan biaya. Metode Saving Matrix dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam meminimalkan jarak tempuh, waktu, dan biaya dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas kendaraan dan volume sampah. Data yang digunakan meliputi koordinat lokasi TPS, timbulan sampah, dan kapasitas kendaraan, yang kemudian diolah menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python untuk menghasilkan rute optimal. Algoritma Nearest Neighbor diterapkan untuk menentukan urutan kunjungan terdekat dari depot (TPS3R USU). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimasi rute berhasil mengurangi total jarak tempuh dan biaya operasional. Program Python yang dikembangkan menghasilkan 12 rute baru dengan biaya bahan bakar optimal sebesar Rp 139.732.713 per tahun. Selain itu, metode ini terbukti fleksibel dan dapat diterapkan pada skala yang lebih besar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode Saving Matrix efektif dalam meminimalkan biaya dan jarak pengangkutan sampah. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya mencakup pertimbangan dinamika jalan, pengembangan program Python untuk variabel tambahan, serta evaluasi pemilahan sampah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi.

Abstract

Engineered cementitious composites (ECCs) are composites that have better attraction properties and behavior than concrete. ECCs are usually formed from cement, water, silica sand, cementitious materials, fibers, and other additives with a certain proportion. In this study, there are three types of ECC mortars (types AME, EM, and TEM) where these types are differentiated by the amount of cement used, the quantity of water, and the number of sand used. Each type uses ashes of palm shells with the same proportions of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of cement. According to trial and error during the workability test, the number of superplasticizers used also increased according to the increase in the percentage of ash in the palm shell, where the variation of superplasticizers achieved was 0.70%, 1.59%, 2.49%, and 3.40% of the weight of cement. Based on the results of the slumpflow test, the average diameter of the ECC freshly mixed mortar was between 88 cm and 106.5 cm, and the T500 slump flow was between 0.28 seconds and 1.39 seconds. The test results show a fairly good workability consistency of all ECC fresh mortars, although there has been an increase in the percentage of palm shell ash used. Superplasticizer turns out to be very important in maintaining consistent workability of fresh ECC mortar mix.

Abstract

The increase in organic waste generation in Indonesia is driving the need for more sustainable waste management innovations, including through the bioconversion of maggots as an alternative protein source. However, at a business scale like Ratna's Black Soldier Fly (BSF), the maggot drying process remains a major obstacle because conventional methods produce inconsistent quality, require long drying times, and are energy-intensive. A community service project titled ECO-WAVE MAG was introduced to address this issue by implementing a microwave dryer as an appropriate technology. Activities included field surveys, designing and modifying the drying system, technical testing on fresh maggots with a moisture content of around 70 percent, and providing training and operational assistance to partners. Test results showed that the microwave dryer was able to reduce drying time by up to 70 percent, produce a stable final moisture content of 8–10 percent, and maintain the homogeneity and nutritional quality of the dried maggots. This technology also proved to be more energy efficient and able to increase production capacity and product shelf life.
