Abstract

Curriculum planning is an idea that is agreed upon and used as a standing reference in an organization for the process of achieving the goals of the institution. Therefore, the curriculum needs to be carefully planned so that it can answer the needs of all parties and the expectations of educational institutions from all levels and types of education. This paper tries to make the concept of pesantren-based curriculum planning in Vocational High Schools. The planning concept begins with identifying philosophical principles, sociological principles and psychological principles. These three principles serve as a basis for formulating student output, determining subjects, teaching resources, designing learning experiences and determining evaluation tools.

Abstract

Human Values ​​consisting of Truth, Virtue, Peace, Compassion and Nonviolence are values ​​that are relevant to the values ​​of the character of the nation. These values ​​are the fruit of the principles of humanistic education (Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood) because they are universal, therefore these values ​​must be prioritized and can be developed in the moral formation of students, so that the role of educators does not only focus on the transfer of knowledge, however, educators must emphasize more on moral values ​​/ transfer of values ​​which cannot be replaced by any sophisticated technology in this era of Society 5.0. Plurality can be defined as religion, nationality, political views, political jurisdiction, and individual opinion, all of which come together in a society. Therefore, talking about pluralism in society is talking about freedom and democracy which concerns human morals. Moral pluralism wants a form of cooperation in morals. One religion may compromise with other religions in an effort to achieve the same goals and objectives. In the sense of looking for a meeting point of religions, although exoterically, religion is plural (religious pluralism), but esoterically, it all leads to "One God or God Almighty.

Abstract

The principle of freedom in Islamic Education, especially freedom of culture in religion, is still considered very sacred and even very exclusive, but it is different if the culture in religion is in the Ngalah Islamic boarding school, culture in religion is only a symbol and does not affect one's beliefs, as is the case for non-Muslims entering the mosque. using kopyah, greeting Muslims and so on, even though this culture is Muslim culture, for non-Muslims not the slightest bit their beliefs will shift or change religions.The method in this study used descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, moderate participant observation and documentation while the data analysis technique in the early stages of data display, the second stage of data reduction and the third stage of drawing conclusions.The existence of Islamic boarding schools, mosques, Pancasila halls and print media is only a cultural symbol or a mediation of interfaith education and is not a sacred or exclusive place, because the knowledge of Allah SWT is not limited, but all knowledge must be developed and practiced in the Islamic boarding school, because of this mediation. has become part of the system in the Ngalah Pasuruan Islamic boarding school, because the Islamic boarding school education system is a means in the form of an organizational device created to achieve educational goals that take place in the Ngalah Islamic boarding school, Purwosari Pasuruan.

Abstract

Arabic language learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTS) Walisongo adopts humanism as a learning approach which has the main focus on developing students' human aspects. This approach emphasizes the importance of understanding and valuing students' roles in the learning process, as well as encouraging their personal development. In this approach, teachers at MTS Walisongo act as facilitators who help students to be actively involved in learning. They encourage open discussion, problem solving, and give students responsibility to take the initiative in learning Arabic. This aims to help students feel more ownership of their own learning. Apart from that, the humanistic approach in learning Arabic at MTS Walisongo also respects the uniqueness of each student. Teachers try to understand students' individual needs, interests and talents, so that learning can be adjusted to their level of ability and interest. This aims to create an environment that supports students' holistic personal development. This research aims to examine the implementation of a humanistic approach in learning Arabic at MTS Walisongo and its impact on students' personal abilities. By understanding this approach in more depth, it is hoped that it can provide valuable insight in improving the quality of Arabic language learning at MTS Walisongo and other similar institutions.
