Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher competence and the accuracy of teaching methods on student learning outcomes at SMK Untung Surapati Pasuruan. Teacher competence, including pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, is considered crucial in creating an effective learning process. The accuracy of teaching methods is also examined to determine the extent to which selecting methods suitable to students' characteristics and lesson materials affects their understanding and engagement. This research employs a quantitative approach with a 2x2 factorial design, involving 67 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and tested for validity and reliability to ensure accuracy and consistency. The findings reveal that both teacher competence and teaching methods significantly influence student learning outcomes. The combination of these factors positively impacts the enhancement of students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to continually improve their competence through training and further education and to choose teaching methods that align with students' needs to achieve optimal learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality and trust on consumer satisfaction in purchasing online products in Randusari Village RW 07, Randusari Village, Gadingrejo District, Pasuruan City. Service quality includes speed, accuracy and friendliness in providing services, while trust includes aspects of transaction security, integrity and reputation of the service provider. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey of 99 participants in this research selected using the probability sampling method. The data collected was then analyzed by applying multiple regression techniques to determine the extent to which each independent variable (service quality and level of trust) influences the dependent variable (customer satisfaction). The research results show that these two variables, both service quality and trust, have a significant impact individually and simultaneously on the level of customer satisfaction. These findings indicate that online business actors who are able to improve service quality and strengthen consumer trust can increase overall customer satisfaction. This research provides practical contributions for online service providers in the area to improve services and build trust, as well as becoming an academic reference for further research in similar areas.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of e-commerce knowledge in supporting the transformation of MSMEs in Jarangan Village, Rejoso Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 MSME actors, the village head, MSME coordinators, and digital facilitators. The results show that only 20% of MSMEs have utilized e-commerce platforms to market their products, achieving an average revenue increase of 40% compared to conventional methods. Meanwhile, 80% of other MSMEs still rely on traditional marketing due to limited digital literacy and confidence. These findings highlight the need for training, mentoring, and infrastructure strengthening to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs. E-commerce knowledge has proven to be a key catalyst in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in the digital era. With adequate support, MSMEs can maximize the potential of e-commerce to contribute significantly to the regional economy.

Abstract

Ranggeh Village, located in Gondangwetang District, Pasuruan Regency, has great potential in developing the local economy through the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) and tourism sectors. This potential is becoming increasingly prominent along with the development of the culinary industry and natural tourism which is now the main attraction for both local and foreign tourists. The culinary industry in this village is developing rapidly with many food stalls, cafes and restaurants serving typical dishes using local ingredients. This not only satisfies tourists' tastes, but also makes a significant contribution to improving the local economy. Apart from that, the natural beauty and beautiful rural atmosphere in Ranggeh Village is a special attraction for tourists, especially with the presence of natural tourist attractions such as the Suropati baths which offer various unique attractions. The growing tourism sector has encouraged the emergence of various related businesses, such as selling typical village souvenirs, which further increases tourist visits. These two sectors, namely culinary MSMEs and local tourism, have had a large positive impact on the economy of Ranggeh Village by creating new jobs and increasing the income of local people. The development of these two sectors has also led to increased demand for local products, such as food and handicrafts. This article discusses the impact of these two sectors on village economic growth, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by the community in developing the culinary and tourism MSME sector. With a deeper understanding of these opportunities and challenges, it is hoped that we can maximize the role of these two sectors to improve community welfare and create wider employment opportunities.

Abstract

This research is to understand employee perceptions of a comfortable working environment and its impact on productivity at the Bu Socheh Javanese Food Restaurant. A good work environment, both from physical and psychological aspects, greatly influences the enthusiasm and work efficiency of employees in the culinary industry. The research used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research subjects consisted of employees who worked in various parts of the restaurant, including the kitchen, service and administration. Research shows that employees consider a comfortable work environment to include a clean workplace, ergonomic layout, harmonious working relationships, and support from superiors. The factors that most influence work comfort are cleanliness and good ventilation, because they can improve health and work efficiency. However, several obstacles were found, such as the increasing number of flies during the rainy season, limited kitchen space, and lack of rest facilities for employees. These obstacles hinder work comfort and can reduce productivity. The conclusion of this research is that a comfortable work environment contributes directly to increasing employee productivity. To improve working conditions, it is recommended that restaurant managers improve their layout, provide supporting facilities, and implement strategies to overcome environmental problems, such as managing cleanliness and handling flies during the rainy season. In this way, employees can work more comfortably and optimally, thus improving the quality of service to customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of well-being on the health of regional students at PGRI Wiranegara University. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design, data was collected through a structured questionnaire that included indicators of well-being (economic conditions, quality of housing, social support, mental health, and access to health services) as well as regional student health (physical, mental, and healthy lifestyles). Data analysis includes classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression to measure the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The validity and reliability of the instrument were tested through Pearson and Cronbach's Alpha correlations. The results of the study are expected to provide comprehensive insights into how well-being affects the health of regional students. These findings are expected to be the basis for universities in formulating strategic policies to improve the welfare and health of students, thereby supporting their academic success holistically.
