Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan aplikasi mobile berbasis Android telah membuka peluang besar dalam pengembangan sistem monitoring kesehatan yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau dan menganalisis pengembangan aplikasi mobile berbasis Android yang terintegrasi dengan sensor IoT untuk pemantauan kesehatan secara real-time. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan kajian terhadap beberapa penelitian terdahulu yang relevan terkait pengembangan sistem monitoring kesehatan berbasis IoT, penggunaan Android sebagai platform, integrasi sensor, dan pemanfaatan platform cloud/Firebase. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sensor IoT dengan aplikasi mobile memungkinkan pengumpulan dan penyimpanan data fisiologis pasien secara real-time, termasuk detak jantung, suhu tubuh, dan saturasi oksigen. Penggunaan platform Android mempermudah akses data oleh pasien dan tenaga medis, sementara integrasi dengan cloud atau Firebase meningkatkan keamanan dan sinkronisasi data. Analisis literatur juga menemukan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian sebelumnya masih terbatas pada jenis sensor tertentu, antarmuka sederhana, dan minim fitur analitik lanjutan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan aplikasi mobile berbasis Android dengan integrasi multi-sensor, platform cloud/Firebase, serta fitur monitoring dan analitik yang lebih komprehensif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pemantauan kesehatan.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat telah membawa dampak besar terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk bidang pendidikan dan dunia kerja. Generasi muda dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan literasi dan keterampilan digital agar mampu beradaptasi dan bersaing di era transformasi digital. Namun, remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan sering kali menghadapi keterbatasan akses terhadap perangkat teknologi dan kurang mendapatkan bimbingan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi secara produktif dan bertanggung jawab. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan masa depan remaja Panti Asuhan Alfath Tauhid Kota Padang melalui program literasi dan pelatihan keterampilan digital.Metode kegiatan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan interaktif, serta pendampingan langsung. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan dasar teknologi informasi, penggunaan aplikasi produktivitas seperti Microsoft Office dan Canva, dasar keamanan data pribadi, serta pemahaman mengenai etika dan tanggung jawab dalam berinternet. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner sederhana untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap peserta terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan digital peserta. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan motivasi bagi remaja untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam kegiatan belajar dan pengembangan diri. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kesiapan masa depan remaja panti asuhan agar lebih mandiri, kreatif, serta siap menghadapi tantangan di era digital.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged the widespread use of digital information systems among junior high school students. However, the utilization of these technologies is not always accompanied by adequate understanding of responsible, safe, and ethical use. This community service activity aims to improve students’ digital literacy through education on the wise use of digital information systems. The methods employed include counseling sessions, interactive training, and simulations of relevant digital applications. The materials covered include an introduction to digital information systems, digital ethics, personal data security, as well as the positive and negative impacts of digital technology usage. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of using digital information systems wisely, as reflected in their increased awareness of data security and responsible technology use. Therefore, this activity is expected to contribute to the development of a generation that is smart, critical, and responsible in utilizing digital technology in the information era

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah membawa perubahan besar di berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam dunia kesehatan. Salah satu bentuk perubahan tersebut adalah munculnya sistem informasi kesehatan digital yang berfungsi untuk mempermudah proses pengelolaan data dan layanan kesehatan. Dalam sistem ini, basis data menjadi komponen utama yang berperan dalam menyimpan, mengolah, dan menyediakan informasi secara cepat dan akurat. Penulisan ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka yang bertujuan untuk memahami lebih dalam bagaimana peran basis data dalam mendukung manajemen informasi kesehatan digital. Melalui pengumpulan dan analisis berbagai literatur, kajian ini membahas beberapa aspek penting seperti struktur basis data, keamanan data pasien, integrasi antar sistem informasi, serta kemudahan dalam mengakses data oleh pihak-pihak yang berwenang, seperti tenaga medis dan manajemen rumah sakit. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan basis data yang baik dan terstruktur dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, mempercepat pengambilan keputusan klinis, serta mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, sistem yang terintegrasi juga memudahkan koordinasi antar bagian dalam sebuah institusi kesehatan, seperti antara bagian administrasi, laboratorium, dan dokter. Namun demikian, ada beberapa tantangan yang masih sering ditemui dalam implementasi basis data di sistem kesehatan digital, seperti masalah interoperabilitas antar platform, perlindungan dan privasi data pasien, serta belum adanya standar data yang seragam di setiap fasilitas kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pihak pengelola dan pengembang sistem informasi kesehatan untuk memahami dan menerapkan konsep basis data dengan baik agar dapat menciptakan sistem yang andal, efisien, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan di lapangan. Dengan pengelolaan basis data yang optimal, sistem informasi kesehatan digital diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan di era modern ini.

Abstract

Background. Online education has become an increasingly common learning method, but it often faces challenges in maintaining student motivation. Gamification, i.e. the application of game elements in non-gaming contexts, emerged as a potential strategy to increase engagement and motivation in online learning. Purpose. This study aims to explore the role of gamification in increasing students' learning motivation in online learning and to identify the most effective gamification elements in this context. Method. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design. Data was collected through a questionnaire filled out by 200 students from several high schools who participated in online learning with gamification elements. Statistical analysis was conducted to evaluate the relationship between gamification and learning motivation. Results. The results of the study showed that 70% of students had a high or very high level of motivation after applying gamification. Elements such as instant feedback obtained the highest scores in influencing motivation. Case studies show that 85% of students feel an increase in learning motivation in classrooms that implement gamification challenges. Conclusion. This study concludes that gamification can significantly increase students' learning motivation in online learning. The right implementation of gamification elements can create a more engaging and interactive learning experience, which is crucial in today's digital education.

Abstract

Background. The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in educational environments has the potential to revolutionize classroom dynamics by creating immersive, interactive learning experiences. This research is based on the growing need to explore how AR-driven classrooms can enhance pedagogy and cater to the learning styles of the next generation. AR offers unique opportunities to create more engaging, personalized, and collaborative learning environments, aligning with the educational goals of the 21st century.. Purpose. This research investigates the pedagogical impacts of AR in immersive classrooms, explicitly focusing on student engagement, knowledge retention, and collaborative learning. It aims to evaluate how AR can transform traditional teaching methods and better prepare students for future technological landscapes. Method. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. Surveys and interviews were conducted with educators and students in AR-enabled classrooms, and performance data were analyzed to assess learning outcomes. AR applications across various subjects, including science, history, and the arts, were evaluated to determine their effectiveness in enhancing the learning experience. Results. Findings indicate that AR significantly improves student engagement, increases knowledge retention, and fosters greater student collaboration. The immersive nature of AR motivates students to participate actively in lessons, creating deeper connections with the content. Conclusion. In conclusion, AR-driven immersive classrooms can potentially reshape educational practices, offering new pathways for experiential learning. The integration of AR technology into classrooms holds promise for the future of education by aligning pedagogical approaches with the needs of the digital generation.

Abstract

Background. In the digital age, emojis have evolved from simple pictographs into a global communication tool, transcending language barriers. As the world seeks to scale access to quality education, particularly in low-resource regions, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key enabler in overcoming these barriers. The role of emojis in enhancing digital literacy and educational communication in these regions remains underexplored. Purpose. This study investigates the potential of emojis, supported by AI-driven systems, to improve educational accessibility and engagement in low-resource areas. Method. The research aims to explore how AI can leverage emojis as a universal language tool to enhance learning experiences and bridge communication gaps in diverse linguistic and cultural contexts. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with educators and students, and quantitative analysis of educational platforms utilizing emoji-based learning interfaces. The study focused on low-resource regions where traditional educational tools are less accessible. Results. Results indicated that emoji-based communication, when integrated with AI-driven educational tools, significantly improved engagement and comprehension among learners, particularly in multilingual environments. Students reported a deeper connection to content and higher motivation to learn, while educators found it easier to communicate complex concepts using visual aids like emojis. The study suggests that AI-supported emoji language can be a scalable solution for improving educational access in underserved regions. Conclusion. Abstract

Background: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrated into the criminal justice system, promising to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making. However, the use of AI also raises significant ethical and legal challenges, including concerns about bias, fairness, transparency, and accountability. These challenges necessitate a thorough examination of AI's impact on the criminal justice system to ensure its benefits are realized without compromising ethical and legal standards. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the impact of AI on the criminal justice system, focusing on the ethical and legal challenges it presents. The research seeks to understand how AI technologies are being implemented, their effects on decision-making processes, and the extent to which they adhere to ethical and legal principles. The goal is to identify best practices and propose solutions to mitigate potential risks. Methods: A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. Quantitative data were collected from 250 criminal justice professionals, measuring their perceptions of AI's impact on various aspects of the justice system. Qualitative interviews with 40 key stakeholders provided deeper insights into the ethical and legal challenges associated with AI integration. Data were analyzed using statistical methods for the surveys and thematic analysis for the interviews. Results: Findings indicate that AI can significantly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the criminal justice system but also presents substantial ethical and legal challenges. Issues such as algorithmic bias, lack of transparency, and accountability were frequently highlighted. Best practices identified include implementing rigorous validation processes, ensuring transparency in AI decision-making, and establishing clear accountability frameworks. Conclusion: While AI holds significant promise for improving the criminal justice system, addressing ethical and legal challenges is crucial for its successful integration. Implementing best practices can mitigate risks and ensure that AI technologies are used responsibly. Future research should focus on developing comprehensive guidelines and policies to govern the use of AI in the criminal justice system.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant transformations in various sectors, including health information management. The integration of AI in health data management not only improves operational efficiency but also opens up strategic opportunities in digital business development in the healthcare sector. This study aims to analyze the role of AI in health information management and its impact on optimizing digital business strategies. The method used is a qualitative approach with a systematic literature review of various recent scientific publications (2020–2025) relevant to the research topic. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and contributions of AI in health information management. The results show that the application of AI, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics, can improve data processing accuracy, accelerate decision-making, and support personalized healthcare services. In addition, AI plays a role in increasing operational cost efficiency and creating innovative digital business models, such as telemedicine and intelligent-based electronic medical record systems. However, challenges related to data security, patient privacy, and infrastructure and human resource readiness remain major obstacles to its implementation. In conclusion, AI has a strategic role in improving the quality of health information management while strengthening the competitiveness of digital businesses in the healthcare sector. Therefore, adaptive policies, improved human resource competencies, and strengthened information security systems are needed to support the sustainable implementation of AI.

Abstract

Abstract: Liberti Store is a business specializing in the sale of various types of shoes and sandals. In carrying out operational activities, especially those related to sales and financial management, a system that can support effective recording and monitoring is essential. An information system has been created to manage sales and finances, equipped with daily financial recording features. This system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database as a solution to various problems faced by store owners. The purpose of developing this system is to coordinate the recording of incoming and outgoing goods, coordinate stock availability directly, and speed up the sales calculation process without relying on manual tools such as calculators. By utilizing this system, information about goods can be stored properly in the database, so the potential for data loss or irregular recording can be minimized. In this study, the author used the SDLC method. This method was applied to gain a better understanding of the actual situation, including problems that arise in sales activities and financial management, thus producing an appropriate system. The results of this study provide an understanding of the design of an appropriate information system for the store's needs, especially in assisting with daily financial management. This system is expected to help shop owners and administration departments improve work efficiency and support more accurate decision-making based on organized data.   Keywords: Information Systems, Sales, Financial Management, PHP, MySQL.   Abstrak: Toko Liberti adalah bisnis yang khusus menjual berbagai jenis sepatu dan sandal. Dalam menjalankan aktivitas operasional, terutama yang berkaitan dengan penjualan dan manajemen keuangan, sistem yang dapat mendukung pencatatan dan pemantauan yang efektif sangat penting. Sistem informasi telah dibuat untuk mengelola penjualan dan keuangan, dilengkapi dengan fitur pencatatan keuangan harian. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL sebagai solusi untuk berbagai masalah yang dihadapi oleh pemilik toko. Tujuan pengembangan sistem ini adalah untuk mengkoordinasikan pencatatan barang masuk dan keluar, mengkoordinasikan ketersediaan stok secara langsung, dan mempercepat proses perhitungan penjualan tanpa bergantung pada alat manual seperti kalkulator. Dengan memanfaatkan sistem ini, informasi tentang barang dapat disimpan dengan benar dalam basis data, sehingga potensi kehilangan data atau pencatatan yang tidak teratur dapat diminimalkan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode SDLC. Metode ini diterapkan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang situasi aktual, termasuk masalah yang muncul dalam aktivitas penjualan dan manajemen keuangan, sehingga menghasilkan sistem yang tepat. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman tentang desain sistem informasi yang tepat untuk kebutuhan toko, terutama dalam membantu manajemen keuangan harian. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu pemilik toko dan departemen administrasi meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat berdasarkan data yang terorganisir.
