Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of PAI teachers in improving students' character and the supporting and inhibiting factors for students at SMK NU Darussalam, Srono District. The research method used in this research is qualitative. This research used observation, interview, and documentation techniques to collect data. In this research, there are two data sources used, namely primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research results show that the role of PAI teachers at SMK NU Darussalam, Srono District, positively impacts student character formation. Supporting factors include a supportive family environment, facilitating educational institutions, a positive community environment, and supportive technological media. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include an unstable family environment, negative school culture, negative peer influence, and the negative impact of technological media.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the development of BK and Counseling Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) into Islamic-based SFBT guidance and counseling theory and practice. The type of research used in this research is library research on literature review objects by exploring data sources from books and digital or manual journals related to the theory and practice of Islamic-based SFBT guidance and counseling. The result of this research is the development of guidance and counseling services using the Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach to becoming guidance and counseling services with an Islamic-based SFBT approach and the practice of Islamic-based guidance and counseling services. The practice of Islamic-based SFBT guidance and counseling can be divided into four stages, namely: pre-session therapy, guidance, intervention, and closing of the session.

Abstract

Family education in Islam has a central role in shaping children’s character and morals through Islamic values. This study aims to examine family education in Islam through three main perspectives: Islamic tradition, Islamic law, and modern social reality. Historically, family education in Islam has been passed down since the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW through various methods such as role models, advice, and habituation. From the perspective of Islamic law, family education has a strong foundation in the Qur’an and Hadith, with an emphasis on faith, worship, and morals as the main responsibilities of parents. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method and analyzes various expert views on Islamic family education. The results of the study show that family education in Islam remains relevant in every era, but requires a broader understanding and innovation in its application to be able to face modern social challenges.ABSTRAKPendidikan keluarga dalam Islam memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk karakter dan moral anak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pendidikan keluarga dalam Islam melalui tiga perspektif utama: tradisi Islam, hukum Islam, dan realitas sosial modern. Secara historis, pendidikan keluarga dalam Islam telah diwariskan sejak zaman Rasulullah SAW melalui berbagai metode seperti keteladanan, nasihat, dan pembiasaan. Dari perspektif hukum Islam, pendidikan keluarga memiliki dasar yang kuat dalam Al-Qur’an dan Hadis, dengan penekanan pada akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak sebagai tanggung jawab utama orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, serta menganalisis berbagai pandangan ahli mengenai pendidikan keluarga Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan keluarga dalam Islam tetap relevan di setiap zaman, tetapi memerlukan pemahaman yang lebih luas serta inovasi dalam penerapannya agar mampu menghadapi tantangan sosial modern.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to instill virtuous values aimed at shaping a generation with strong morals in accordance with societal norms. This study aims to examine the impact of the Kaleng Impian (Dream Can) program in instilling character education, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation among students at MI NU Hidayatun Najah Tuban. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students at MI NU Hidayatun Najah Tuban, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The study refers to Thomas Lickona’s three components of character education: Moral Knowing, one’s ability to evaluate oneself; Moral Feeling, the drive to do good and the ability to control oneself; and Moral Action, the implementation of moral knowledge and feelings through actions aligned with established norms. Thus, the researcher seeks to explore how the Kaleng Impian program is implemented from the perspective of character education through the lenses of moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The findings reveal that the Kaleng Impian program at MI NU Hidayatun Najah successfully cultivates character values such as responsibility, tolerance, and religiosity based on moral knowing, feeling, and action, thereby contributing to the formation of students' character. However, several inhibiting factors were identified, including limited teacher understanding, low parental involvement, diverse levels of student comprehension, and the absence of a standardized evaluation system

Abstract

Di era digital, media sosial telah menjadi alat utama dalam penyebaran informasi politik. Perannya yang luas memungkinkan peningkatan kesadaran politik masyarakat, tetapi juga membuka ruang bagi disinformasi yang dapat mengaburkan fakta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak media sosial dalam edukasi politik, mengidentifikasi manfaat serta tantangan yang ditimbulkan, dan mengeksplorasi strategi literasi digital yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan perannya sebagai alat edukasi politik. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur, observasi media sosial, serta wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat dan akademisi di Banyuwangi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tren dalam penggunaan media sosial dalam politik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki potensi besar sebagai alat edukasi politik, terutama dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat. Namun, tantangan seperti penyebaran hoaks, bias algoritma, dan fenomena echo chamber menghambat pemahaman politik yang objektif. Oleh karena itu, literasi digital menjadi faktor kunci dalam meminimalkan dampak negatif media sosial dan memaksimalkan manfaatnya bagi demokrasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berkembangnya kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD). Namun, pemahaman dan pemaknaan guru terhadap peran AI dalam transformasi digital pendidikan masih sangat bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana guru sekolah dasar memaknai peran AI dalam konteks transformasi digital pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru umumnya memaknai AI sebagai alat bantu teknis yang mempermudah pekerjaan administratif, seperti penilaian otomatis dan pencarian materi ajar. Namun, pemahaman terhadap potensi AI sebagai mitra pedagogis masih rendah. Selain itu, kesenjangan infrastruktur dan literasi digital turut memengaruhi terbentuknya makna yang terbatas terhadap AI. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kapasitas guru dan pemerataan akses digital menjadi langkah penting dalam mendukung transformasi digital pendidikan yang bermakna dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The digital era brings significant changes in various aspects of life, including in parenting patterns and Islamic religious education for children. Parents have a major role in instilling Islamic values ​​as provisions for children in facing increasingly rapid technological developments. This study aims to analyze the role of parents in instilling Islamic religious education in the digital era and the challenges faced. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature studies from various related sources, such as journals, books, and previous studies. The results of the study show that parents face various challenges in guiding children, such as exposure to negative content, cyberbullying, social media addiction, and declining interest in religious learning. To overcome these challenges, parents need to implement effective strategies, such as providing role models, familiarizing children with Islamic worship and morals, utilizing technology wisely, and carrying out ongoing supervision and guidance. With a balanced approach between conventional methods and modern technology, parents can guide children to maintain strong Islamic values ​​amidst the rapid flow of digital information. Therefore, increasing digital literacy for parents is a crucial aspect in ensuring Islamic religious education remains relevant and effective in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence self-esteem in school-age children and how each factor shapes children's self-esteem. Self-esteem in school-age children is an important aspect of their psychological development, considering that this is when children begin to socialize more widely outside the family. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques with some children, parents, and teachers, as well as participatory observation in the school environment. The study results indicate that family factors, peers, school environment, academic achievement, individual character, and media influence play a significant role in shaping children's self-esteem. Emotional support and recognition from parents, positive relationships with peers, and appreciation from teachers are elements that support the formation of healthy self-esteem. Conversely, pressure from the environment, academic failure, and exposure to unrealistic social standards through the media have the potential to lower children's self-esteem. In conclusion, synergy is needed between family, school, and the surrounding environment to create conditions that support children's self-esteem to grow optimally, which will help them become confident and resilient individuals in facing challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dinamika interaksi peserta didik dengan asisten virtual berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam proses belajar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada semakin luasnya penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan, termasuk dalam bentuk chatbot, tutor cerdas, dan aplikasi pembelajaran adaptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif peserta didik dalam berinteraksi dengan AI. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi peserta didik dengan asisten virtual cenderung bersifat fungsional dan teknis, yaitu digunakan untuk menyelesaikan tugas atau mencari informasi secara cepat. AI belum sepenuhnya dimaknai sebagai mitra pedagogis yang membentuk pengalaman belajar yang reflektif dan bermakna. Selain itu, kualitas interaksi sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat literasi digital dan dukungan infrastruktur. Peserta didik dengan akses teknologi yang memadai dan kemampuan digital yang baik lebih mampu memanfaatkan AI secara optimal dibandingkan mereka yang berada dalam keterbatasan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya peningkatan literasi digital dan pemerataan infrastruktur untuk mendukung pemanfaatan AI dalam pendidikan secara lebih efektif dan manusiawi.

Abstract

Active smoking addiction is a persistent global health problem with serious impacts on society. Cigarettes cause more than 8 million deaths each year, and around 7 million of them are victims of exposure to passive cigarette smoke. The importance of overcoming active smoking addiction encourages research and development of various prevention strategies. One approach that has attracted attention is the application of Protection Motivation Theory (PMT). This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research includes library research, with the aim of collecting data and information from various sources available in the library. These sources include books, magazines, documents, historical records, and others. Data collected from library research can be used as the basis and main source for field research. Library research is a type of research that examines secondary data. PMT as an effective formula in overcoming active smoker addiction, continuous evaluation and further research is needed. This will provide in-depth insight into the extent to which this theory can be applied in various contexts and help adapt prevention strategies to meet the unique needs of individuals as well as diverse societies. A deeper understanding of the effectiveness of PMT will provide a valuable contribution. The application of Protection Motivation Theory as a formula to overcome active smoking addiction shows significant potential in increasing awareness, changing attitudes, and stimulating intentions to quit smoking. However, it is important to continually adapt this approach to individual characteristics and changing social dynamics. Continuous evaluation and further research are needed to ensure its sustainability and effectiveness in addressing the challenges of active smoker addiction.
