Abstract

Based on preliminary observations that show that as many as 51,2% of 123 students stated that biology lessons were a difficult lesson. As many as 77,3% of students experience learning difficulties on virus material. Learning activities can not be separated from the use of learning media. This development aims to know the valid of flip chart learning media on virus material for high school students of class X. This research is a Research & Development (R&D) study using the Thiagarajan et all 4D development model, which is limited to the develop stage. This development research resulted in flip chart learning media through validation by a team of experts getting a total value of 80% with a valid category. Readability test results by students amounted to 94% with a very valid category. Flip chart learning media is worthy of being used as a learning medium on virus material.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of parents’ work on students’ learning achievement at SDN Kedungpandan 2, Jabon subdistrict, Sidoarjo regency. This research was carried out in the odd semester of 2019-2020 academic year to students of grade I-VI consisting of 109 students. The sample used was a strata sample comprising of 86 students. The type of research used was quantitative research with descriptive approach. This research was a causal association ex post facto research. The data were collected through documents and interviews. Data analysis technique adopted t test. T test result was 5.28 with a significance level of 0.05, while the t table in this study was 2.643. Therefore, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The result of this study indicates that there is an effect of parents’ work on students’ learning achievement at SDN Kedungpandan 2

Abstract

The results of preliminary observations on three high school / MA schools in Blitar City with 71 respondents through questionnaires revealed that the use of instructional media with a percentage of 28.40% was classified as unfavorable and the results of interviews with Biology students stated that 50% with the category was quite difficult to understand Biology material. In this study, researchers analyzed the importance of learning media needs for biology class X students. Research is only limited to the media used when learning Biology. The population in this study was three schools with 71 respondents, with a sample of 33 schools. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach to the type of survey research. Data from the questionnaire analysis of 50% of 71 respondents stated that biology was difficult to understand because of the large amount of material and the foreign terms they had just heard. The results of the analysis of learning media needs of the use of electronic media that are still much in demand are LCD 95.77%, picture learning media 35.21%, learning media chart 12.67% and video learning media 23.94%. As for what is rarely used is 2.81% radio learning media and the use of posters that have never been applied to biology learning.

Abstract

Mother’s nutritional knowledge determines all that the children eats. Mother’s who have a good knowledge of nutrition will form a good balanced nutrition behavior for children. The behavior will affect the nutriet intake and nutritional status of children. The purpose of the study is to know the correlation mother’s knowledge and attitudes on balanced nutrition with children’s nutritional status in Desa Sukosewu village Gandusari district. This study employed Analytical Survey Research with Cross Sectional Design. The study was carried out on Juni 2022 in Sukosewu village. The collecting data mothers’s knowledge on balanced nutrition and mother’s attitude on balance nutrition used questioner, and to collect child nutritional status data using Z- score with BB/U indikator. This study involved 68 respondents. Based on bivariate analysis were tested statistically Somers’d test, the test of the correlation mother’s knowledge and attitudes on balanced nutrition with children’s nutritional status in Sukosewu village Gandusari district obtained by value p = 0.000 which shows the correlation of mother’s knowledge on balanced nutrition with children’s nutritional status in Sukosewu village Gandusari district. On the test of attitudes on balanced nutrition with children’s nutritional status in kindergartens Sukosewu village Gandusari district obtained by value p = 0.000 shows that there is correlation attitudes on balanced nutrition with children’s nutritional status in Sukosewu village Gandusari district.

Abstract

Poster adalah media yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan hal-hal penting atau informasi, saran, pesan, ide, dan gagasan sehingga dapat merangsang pembaca untuk melihat dan membacanya. Poster berisi gambar dan teks yang menarik. Berdasarkan observasi di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Blitar, selama proses pembelajaran dan melalui wawancara dengan siswa dan guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia masih banyak siswa yang kurang tertarik dengan proses pembelajaran khususnya materi menulis poster. Banyak siswa yang masih kesulitan menemukan ide saat membuat poster. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian 4D. Hasil penilaian dari responden yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, guru bahasa Indonesia, dan siswa didapatkan hasil yaitu ahli materi dengan 2 aspek komponen mendapatkan persentase sebesar 81,5% yang berarti layak untuk dilaksanakan. Ahli media dengan 2 aspek komponen mendapatkan persentase sebesar 87% yang berarti sangat layak untuk diterapkan. Guru Bahasa Indonesia dengan 4 aspek komponen mendapatkan persentase sebesar 95,7% yang berarti sangat layak untuk diterapkan. Siswa dengan 3 aspek komponen mendapatkan persentase 89,3% yang berarti sangat layak untuk diterapkan. Dari hasil persentase keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media fotonovela sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan.

Abstract

The importance of using Reward and Punishment as a stimulus to improve learning outcomes and student motivation. This research aims to determine the effect of using Rewards and Punishments on motivation and learning outcomes. This type of quasi-experimental research design is "pretest-posttest control group design". The research population was 40 students with a sample of 20 class IV A students as the experimental class and 20 class IV B students as the control class. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. Motivation data collection uses a motivation questionnaire instrument and learning outcomes data collection uses a pretest-posttest learning outcomes instrument. Data analysis used the One Way Anova test. The research results of the use of Reward and Punishment on learning motivation obtained Fcount 23.37 > Ftable 4.10 with a sig level. 5% so H0 is rejected, meaning that the rewards and punishments given to the experimental class have a significant effect on student learning motivation. The research results of the use of Reward and Punishment on learning outcomes obtained Fcount 21.198 > Ftable 4.10 with a sig level. 5% so H0 is rejected, meaning that the rewards and punishments given to the experimental class have a significant effect on student learning outcomes. From this research, it can be concluded that the use of Rewards and Punishments in STAD type cooperative learning is effective in increasing the motivation and science learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Kolursari II Bangil.
