Abstract

The implementation of online learning in computational mathematics courses has encountered various obstacles in addition to the decline in student learning outcomes. Therefore, research is aimed to explore student perceptions of online learning that has been carried out. The research used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of the Information Technology Faculty of Unisba Blitar who had taken computational mathematics courses during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that students had a positive perception of the aspects of the learning process although some students felt difficulty understanding theory and skills improvement. Positive perceptions are also shown in the competence aspect of lecturers, who become facilitators in the learning process. Furthermore, in the aspect of facilities and infrastructure, positive perceptions are shown in the ease of access to learning materials, the availability of online learning tools and the use of video conferencing in learning. Meanwhile, the negative aspect is shown in the fulfilment of the internet quota for online learning.

Abstract

The New Student Admissions (PPDB) process at MTs Riset Fathul Huda has been carried out manually, resulting in various obstacles such as time inefficiency, potential data input errors, and difficulties in managing prospective student files. To overcome these problems, this study aims to design and build a web-based PPDB application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The RAD method was chosen because it is iterative and fast, and actively involves users in every stage of system development. The resulting application has various main features, including online registration, document upload, payment verification, and data management by the committee. System testing was carried out comprehensively through Black Box Testing, White Box Testing, and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The Black Box test results showed a functional success rate of 96.55%, while the White Box results showed a Cyclomatic Complexity (V(G)) value of 141, all of which have been tested. In addition, the UAT results showed a very high level of user satisfaction, namely 96% from the admin side and 93.33% from the applicant side. Based on the evaluation results, it can be concluded that the developed web-based PPDB application is feasible, efficient, and well-received by users. It can also be an effective solution for digitizing student admissions at MTs Riset Fathul Huda

Abstract

The limited availability of integrated digital tourism information in Blitar Raya has made it challenging for visitors to plan their travel routes efficiently. This research aims to develop an Android-based Geographic Information System (GIS) that integrates the Google Maps API with the Bellman-Ford algorithm to optimize the shortest travel routes among tourism destinations. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, emphasizing user involvement through iterative prototyping and feedback. Primary data were collected from field observations, semi-structured interviews with tourists and local administrators, and beta testing involving 52 respondents, while secondary data were obtained from the Blitar Tourism Board and BPS statistical databases. The implementation integrates the Google Distance Matrix API to construct a weighted graph, which is processed by the Bellman-Ford algorithm, demonstrating higher route stability and accuracy than the Dijkstra and Haversine approaches in small-to-medium graph structures. The system achieved an 84.46% user acceptance rate, categorized as “Excellent” according to the ISO/IEC 25010 usability standard. Empirical findings show that the average response time of 1.5–2.5 seconds indicates high computational efficiency for real-time map rendering. This study contributes theoretically by presenting an algorithmic integration framework for mobile GIS applications and practically by offering a functional digital tourism platform to enhance local tourism management. The findings also suggest that combining RAD with algorithmic optimization can effectively bridge the gap between user experience and computational performance in tourism-based GIS systems.

Abstract

The transition from analog to digital television requires the public to use set top box (STB) devices in order to receive digital broadcasts. However, many users struggle to choose an set top box that suits their location and specific needs. This study aims to determine the best location-based set top box recommendations using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP was chosen because it is capable of systematically processing comparisons of criteria such as chipset, brand, price, and features. Primary data was collected through surveys and interviews with technicians in Blitar City, while secondary data was obtained from journals and technical documentation. The results of the study indicate that the brand criterion holds the highest weight, followed by chipset, features, and price. Set top box with Sunplus chipsets demonstrated the best performance in areas with weak signals. The web-based system was developed using JavaScript, and the calculations were supported by Python to verify accuracy. Therefore, the AHP method is highly effective in providing optimal set top box recommendations based on location and user needs, while also serving as a digital education tool for the community. This system is expected to assist both the public and technicians in improving the quality of digital TV signal reception as an alternative solution. Based on the research results, the developed web-based system provides convenience for users in determining the best set top box according to the required location. The website is equipped with location input forms, internet feature preferences, and detailed score calculation features for each set top box brand, with varying output values. This white box testing successfully validated the implementation of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for calculating the score of the set top box (STB). The test confirmed that the scoring function accurately produced the correct total score of 0.6673 for the GX6605 STB. This successful execution demonstrates the reliability and correctness of the system's decision-making process.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Konsep teacherpreneur berperan dalam peningkatan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik agar memiliki jiwa kreatif dan inovatif. Pada MI Roudhotun Nasihiin Sukorejo Sutojayan Blitar, proses pembelajaran masih bergantung pada buku ajar dan LKS yang disediakan sekolah karena rendahnya kemandirian dan motivasi guru untuk membuat bahan ajar mandiri melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Tujuan: Kegiatan PKM bertujuan membentuk karakter teacherpreneur pada guru melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran sehingga guru menjadi inovatif, adaptif, dan mandiri. Metode: PKM dilaksanakan melalui metode sosialisasi dan praktek. Pengukuran ketercapaian target kegiatan dilakukan dengan  pemberian tes dan evaluasi hasil kerja peserta. Hasil: Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya kenaikan rata-rata yaitu dari 69.4 menjadi 89.5. Selanjutnya, pada kegiatan praktek penyusunan LKPD, 12 dari 14 peserta, atau 85,7% peserta, dapat menghasilkan LKPD sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu melalui aplikasi canva. Kesimpulan: Peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep teacherpreneur berada pada kategori sangat baik. Sementara pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori berhasil atau tuntas. Tindak lanjut yang dapat dilakukan adalah pendampingan secara berkala agar guru konsisten dalam mengembangkan karakter teacherpreneur melalui pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi.
