Abstract

Tantangan unik di sektor pendidikan terutama Kecamatan Gedangan Kabupaten Malang adalah keterbatasan fasilitas dan rendahnya partisipasi guru dalam pelatihan inovatif menuntut solusi kreatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan akses pendidikan. Hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan Kepala SDN Sumberejo 2 beserta guru diperoleh permasalahan seperti kurangnya media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi, belum optimalnya penggunaan model Project Based Learning (PjBL), serta kurangnya pemahaman dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang mendukung keterampilan abad ke-21 pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari: persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pelatihan akan mencakup sesi tentang pemanfaatan sinema sebagai alat edukatif, analisis film untuk mengembangkan pemikiran kritis, serta integrasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam kurikulum dengan fokus pada pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang efektif. Target utama dari program ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang mendukung keterampilan siswa yang kritis, kreatif, komunikatif, dan kolaboratif. Hasil pretest dan postest menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dari 75% meningkat menjadi 85%. Peserta merasa senang dan antusias mengikuti pelatihan karena dapat membuat naskah film, praktik reka adegan film, dan presentasi hasil video rekaman film pendek sesuai dengan tema. Luaran menghasilkan film pendek yang bisa digunakan sebagai alat bantu mengajar di masa depan.

Abstract

Diferensiasi pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mengakomodasi perbedaan berpikir komputasional siswa SD memerlukan media ajar interaktif. Akan tetapi, kemampuan guru SD dalam memproduksi media ajar interaktif masih rendah karena kurangnya latihan maupun kegiatan lokakarya terkait teknologi pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dalam memproduksi media ajar interaktif berbasis berpikir komputasional guru SD, khususnya guru SDN 5 Mojolangu, Kota Malang dengan rincian 25 peserta offline dan 14 peserta online. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara hybrid dengan paparan materi dari lima narasumber. Materi yang diberikan terdiri atas teori berpikir komputasi, produksi media berbasis GeoGebra, produksi media berbasis Articulate Storyline 3, dan produksi media berbasis Google Sites. Hasil kegiatan ini terdiri atas peningkatan kemampuan guru dan luaran berupa produk media ajar interaktif. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan dan produk yang dihasilkan peserta. Evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan angket respons peserta. Sementara itu, evaluasi produk menggunakan rubrik penilaian yang mencakup kriteria kualitas dan kuantitas. Tujuan evaluasi adalah untuk menghasilkan data yang digunakan dalam perbaikan pelaksanaan dan saran untuk peserta dalam hal peningkatan kemampuan produksi media ajar interaktif. Kegiatan lanjutan yang disarankan oleh tim pelaksana adalah pengintegrasian pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis media ajar interaktif dan berpikir komputasi.

Abstract

This study developed the "Cerita Kita" website, integrating ecocriticism and local wisdom to enhance elementary students' multiliteracy and literary appreciation. Using design-based research with the ADDIE framework, the prototype's validity was measured through expert validation (CVI=0.89-0.91), practicality via implementation success rate (88%) and System Usability Scale (SUS=81.4), and effectiveness through stratified ecocriticism assessments and reflective journals. The study involved 84 fourth-graders in urban (n=33) and rural (n=51) Malang, Indonesia. Quantitative data analysis employed descriptive statistics and paired t-tests, showing significant multiliteracy gains, particularly in ecological awareness (rural: 78.6±18.3; urban: 56.4±21.7; p<0.01). Qualitative thematic analysis revealed that rural students' cultural connections drove their 39.2% superiority in environmental applications. The Coban Rondo legend proved most effective (87% ecological interpretation accuracy). Results demonstrate that cultural anchoring—not technological sophistication—is pivotal for digital multiliteracy, offering a sustainable model for Global South educational contexts that prioritizes cultural narratives over complex technology to achieve SDG 4.7 goals.

Abstract

Logical and reflective thinking are key components of higher-order thinking in 21st-century education, yet many elementary students’ abilities remain underdeveloped due to teacher-centered instruction. This study investigates the effectiveness of a RADEC-based multiliteracy approach in enhancing these skills among fifth-grade students. Using a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design, 45 students in Malang, Indonesia (22 experimental; 23 control) participated in the study. Data were collected through validated logical and reflective thinking tests, supported by observations and interviews. Results showed significant differences between groups. The experimental group outperformed the control group in logical thinking (M = 75.00 vs. 47.83; p < .001) and reflective thinking (M = 81.41 vs. 40.65; p < .001). The findings suggest that the structured RADEC stages integrated with multiliteracy principles effectively foster systematic reasoning and metacognitive reflection, demonstrating strong pedagogical potential for promoting higher-order thinking in elementary education.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a multiliteracy learning model based on Topeng Malangan literature to improve literacy culture and global diversity attitude in grade IV elementary school students. This study used the ADDIE research and development method, which involved fourth-grade students at SDN Talangagung 2 Kepanjen. Data were collected through expert validation, student and teacher responses, observation, and literacy skills tests. The results showed the model's effectiveness in improving students' literacy skills with a high level of interest (80-92.3%) and understanding of the material (84.6-86.67%). The model also successfully developed students' global diversity attitudes, with 80-92.3% reporting increased knowledge. Expert validation covering readability, material suitability, and learning aspects in elementary schools showed excellent results with scores of 90.90%, 88.33%, and 86.42%, respectively. The learning model received excellent effectiveness ratings, with 91.40% and 92.47% in the two classes studied. This research contributes significantly to developing innovative and contextualized Indonesian language learning strategies at the primary school level by integrating local wisdom and multiliteracy approaches to improve literacy skills and cultural understanding.

Abstract

The choreography of “Sangkan Paraning Dolanan” is a traditional dance that incorporates Javanese children's games such as Cublak-Cublak Suweng, Engklek, and Ular Naga as a medium for teaching character to elementary school students. Through a descriptive choreography analysis approach, this work shows how the simple movements of traditional games can convey the values of honesty, sportsmanship, unity, and mutual cooperation. The integration of regional songs and local cultural elements reinforces the relevance of enjoyable, meaningful, and child-appropriate arts education. As a result, this dance is not only an artistic expression, but also a means of cultural preservation and character building based on direct experience.
