Abstract

Abstract This study aims to look at the effect of discovery models on learning outcomes of style materials and their benefits in thematic learning in fourth grade students of elemtary schools 56 west Pontianak. Thesis. Program for student learning material style and its benefits, such as the nature of the styles, various styles, grade IV public elememtary school west Pontianak. This study uses an pre-experimental design experimental type, with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The population in this study is all grade IV students of 56 elementary schools in west Pontianak. The sample in this study was class IV A amounting to 39 as an experimental class. Data collection techniques, with data collection tools in the from of a test of 50 questions. Then the analysis is done using test. Based on the analysis results obtained tcount (61,56)>ttabel (39,80) then Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded there is an influence of learning outcomes between students using the N-Gain valu of 0,56 (medium criteria). This means that learning by applying the discovery model has a moderate effect on student learning outcomes in grade IV public elementary schools 56 Pontianak Barat. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a sexual education video as an educational effort to prevent sexual harassment of students at Abdi Agape Elementary School, North Pontianak. The research method used is the research and development (RnD) method by adapting the Borg and Gall model with potential and problem steps, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The data are quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained from the results of the product assessment by the validator and the results of filling out the questionnaire responses to videos by teachers and students. Qualitative data were obtained from suggestions/comments by validators, teachers and students. Research instruments in the form of interviews and questionnaires. The level of validity of the video is based on the results of the assessment by media experts and material experts, while the response to the video is based on the results of responses by teachers and students. The results of the validation of sexual education videos obtained an average of 3,825. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that sexual education videos had a level of validity in the "very valid" category.Keywords: Development, Education, Sexual Education, Sexual Harassment, Video

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the 2013 curriculum lesson plans for class V SemesterI at SDN 34 Pontianak City. Analyzing the alignment of the content descriptionfor each component of the 2013 Curriculum RPP based on Permendikbudnumber 22 of 2016 and the suitability of the components seen from the principlesof preparing RPP based on Permendikbud number 14 of 2019. This type ofresearch is qualitative research, descriptive research methods. The subject of theresearch is teacher learning tools prepared by the fifth grade teacher at SDN 34Pontianak City. The data collection procedure used is indirect observation with adata collection tool in the form of an observation sheet. The results of the studyshow the alignment of the elaboration of the contents of each RPP componentguided by the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 22 of 2016concerning the standard process for primary and secondary education made bythe teacher, there are parts that are appropriate and not appropriate. Theconformity of the principles of the lesson plan is guided by the regulation of theMinister of Education and culture number 14 of 2019, there are teachers who areappropriate and some are not.keywords: Analysis, Learning Implementation Plan, Thematic Curriculum2013

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the influence of the application cooperative model assisted audio-visual media in Social Science learning on the learning outcomes of  V grade Elementary School 27 in Southeast Pontianak. The method  used is experimental with Pre-Experimental Design and non equivalent control group design. The population of all students from two classes 54 people. the sample of this study is the students of VB class which amounted to 26 people as  experimental class and the VA class learners as  control class which amounted to 28 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data collection tools is a written test of multiple choice. Based on the data analysis, the result of  average post-test of the experimental class class is 80,04 and the mean post-test control 74,07. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t count = 2.993 while for degree of freedom (28+26-2=52) with significant level α = 5% obtained t table = 1.676, which means t count > t table, this proves that there is influence of applying cooperative model of audio-visual media in Social Science learning. Based on the calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0.57which includes medium criteria.  Keywords: Influence, Cooverative Model, Audio-Visual, Social Science,  Learning       Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed was to analyze the influence peer tutoring method of student learning output in learning mathematics in grade V of State Elementary School 06 North Pontianak. the research method was an experiment, form of quasi Experimental's non-equivalent group design. the research population of all grade V students of public Elementary School 06 North Pontianak  werw counted to 43 students. the withdrawal sample tec hnique used purposive sample. the technique used was observation and measuring. the data collection tools are observation sheets and essay question. the data result was the average score of class control post-test was 62,09 and the experiment was 70.69. based on the counting result t-test was 2,060 > t-table 2,020 then ha is accepted. it shows that there is a difference in students learning output of class control and class experiment. the value of effect size was 0,77 with middle criteria. it can conclusion that t­here is an effect of the application of the peer tutoring method on student learning output in learning mathematics in grade V public Elementary School 06 North Pontianak.Keywords: Learning Outcomes,Mathematics, Peer Tutoring

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve speaking skills using audio media in third grade students at 14 public elementary schools in south Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method, the form of research is classroom action research, the nature of collaborative research. Classroom action research design with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research location was 14 South Pontianak Public Elementary School, especially in class III with 33 teachers and students as research subjects. The research technique is direct observation and documentary study techniques. data collection tools in this study are observation sheets and learning outcomes documents. The data analysis technique used is calculating averages and percentages. The use of audio media can improve the speaking skills of class III students. Based on research conducted as many as III cycles with 1 meeting, with the results obtained each cycle 1) the ability of teachers to design learning starting from cycle I is 2.44, cycle II is 3.2, cycle III is 3.94. 2) the ability of teachers to implement learning starting from cycle I is 2.7, cycle II is 2.85, cycle III is 3.7. 3) the average number of speaking skills in cycle I was 57.08, in cycle II it increased 71.97, in cycle III it increased to 79.74. The use of audio media can be applied during the Indonesian language learning process to improve students' speaking skills because audio media can improve their speaking skills in class III students.Keywords: Audio Media, Improve, Speaking Skills

Abstract

AbstractThis study is to describe whether or not there is a correlation between learningmotivation and interest in learning with student learning outcomes in the thematic learningof class V Elementary School 16 North Pontianak. The research method used is adescriptive method in the form of relationship studies by using correlation studies. Thepopulation in this study amounted to 81 students and the samples used were all students ofclass V, which amounted to 81 students. The data collection techniques in this research aredirect communication techniques, indirect communication techniques and documentarystudy techniques. As for the instrument (data collection tool) of this study in the form ofinterviews (interviews), questionnaires (questionnaires) and documents from the theme 1test. While the results of the theme 1 test of the fifth grade students of the State ElementarySchool 16 North Pontianak obtained an average of 89.50 in the "Good" category. Basedon the results of statistical calculations using the multiple correlation formula to calculatethe correlation between learning motivation and interest in learning with student learningoutcomes, it is obtained that rcount is 0.017, while rtable for N = 81 and 5% significancelevel of 0.220 means rcount < rtable or 0.017 < 0.220. Based on the results of the study,the correlation between learning motivation and learning style with student learningoutcomes in the thematic learning of class V Elementary School 16 North Pontianak is inthe very low category.Keywords: Correlation, Learning Motivation, Learning Interest, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to analyze a student's ability to write a description essay. The methodused in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The object of this study is thestudent's essay that is assessed from the titlebook's content, spelling, diction, sentencestructure, interdepartmental sentences, interdepartmental paragraphs, overallcontent, and orderliness. The source of data for the study is the 39th country's B.S.D.'s poll of 31 students. It enhances interviews, documentaries. This study suggests thatthe average descriptive writing ability is that 75 falls in category (good). Thepercentage of students is seen in terms of a very good 2 person or 0.6% category,either 14 person category or 0.45%, enough category 13 person or 0.43%, less 2person or 0.6%. The difficulties students encounter are several aspects of the use andspelling of spelling (use of capital letters, punctuation, writing words that are lessletters, connecting signs), overall content, sentence structure, paragraph alignment(difficult to develop a paragraph or less able to suspend an idea). Thus, it may beconcluded that the ability to write a description on class vb specifies the learning ofonline models is sufficient because there are still some of the students' difficulties inwriting the description.Keywords: writing ability, made-up description, online learnin.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed for describing student's essay text writing mistake at 5th grade class atSekolah Dasar Negeri 09 Pontianak Barat. This researchs using qualitative approach withdescriptive method. Data sources in this research is from 31 students of 5th grade class A atSekolah Dasar Negeri 09 Pontianak Barat. The instrument in this research using humaninstrument, which the data collection method is from documentation method and reading &writing method. Miles model and Huberman has 3 steps, including data reduction, dataserving and conclusion, used for data analysis technique. The data validity techniques usingtechnique increasing persistence by reading the essay text over and over again. The result ofdata colleting shows 2083 mistake from 26 essay text. The writing mistake divided into (1)speeling mistake shows 1850 mistakes or 88,81%, (2) the choosing word mistake shows 92mistakes or 4.42% and (3) the effective sentences writing mistakes shows 141 mistakes or6,77%.Keywords: Bahasa Indonesia, Essay Text, Writing Mistakes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to identify the effect of experimental method on student learning outcomes in 5th grader of State Sekolah Dasar Negeri 56 Pontianak Barat. Quasi-experimental method with the Non Equivalent Control Group Design was applied in conducting this study. The population of this study were 5th grader of State Sekolah Dasar Negeri 13 Pontianak Barat, 5th grader of State Sekolah Dasar Negeri 54 Pontianak Barat and 5th grader of State Sekolah Dasar Negeri 56 Pontianak Barat. The chosen sample was the 5th grader of State Sekolah Dasar Negeri 56 Pontianak Barat, which consists of two classes. Class A (30 students) as the experimental class, while Class B (32 students) as the control class. The technique of data collection was measuring technique through 40 multiple choice questions as the data collection tools. Then, the analysis was calculated by using t-test. The results showed tcount (2.0526) > ttable (1.671) which means Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning outcomes will be different between students who treated through the Experiment Method and they who did not. The effect size calculation showed that ES in position of 0.52 (medium criteria). It means learning through Experimental Method gives a moderate effect on student learning outcomes in the 5th grader of State Sekolah Dasar Negeri 56 Pontianak Barat. Keywords: Effect, Experimental Method, Learning Outcomes
