Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada penjumlahan dan penurangan bilangan bulat siswa kelas VII A MTs Alkhairaat Maleni. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini berlokasi di MTs Alkhairaat Maleni. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A MTs Alkhairaat Maleni yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, data aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, data hasil tes awal dan data hasil tes akhir tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII A MTs Alkhairaat Maleni pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat, dengan tahapan yaitu : 1) penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran dan pemberian motivasi siswa, 2) penyajian informasi, 3) penomoran dan 4) pemberian pertanyaan.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi komposisi dua fungsi hal ini disebabkan karena siswa kurang memahami konsep dalam menentukan komposisi dua fungsi, sehingga siswa mudah lupa dengan rumus menentukan komposisi dua fungsi. Selain itu, kurangnya pemahaman siswa pada materi prasyarat dari materi komposisi dua fungsi, yaitu materi tentang aljabar fungsi, serta sebagian besar siswa kurang aktif selama mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarar siswa pada materi komposisi dua fungsi di kelas X IPA 5 SMA Negeri 7 Palu tahun ajaran 2018/2019 berjumlah 33 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 14 laki-laki dan 19 perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada tes akhir siklus I terdapat 15 siswa tuntas dan 17 siswa tidak tuntas berikut ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 46,87%, Sedangkan pada siklus II terdapat 26 siswa tuntas dan 5 siswa tidak tuntas berikut ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 83,85%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerepan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPA 5 SMA Negeri 7 Palu pada materi komposisi dua fungsi, dengan tahapannya yaitu (1) pendahuluan, (2) think, (3) pair, (3) share, dan (5) penghargaan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences in student mathematics learning outcomes between offline and online learning at SMP Negeri 2 Palu. The research used a comparative method with a population of all students in class VIII, totalling 332 students. The sample was class VIII students who did offline and online learning, with different samples but the same abilities. The sampling technique is Purposive Sampling. The researchers took 60 samples consisting of 30 students each from classes A and B. The data collection technique was carried out by taking the even semester midterm test scores for the 2021/2022 academic year obtained by students during online learning and the even semester midterm test scores for the 2022/2023 academic year obtained by students during offline learning, with the same subject matter, namely the Pythagorean theorem. Provided that the material taught is equivalent during offline and online learning and has the same academic abilities: (1). Mathematics learning outcomes obtained an average score of 64.13 and 68.27 (2). Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.187 > 0.05. This means that H0 is accepted, and Ha is rejected. So, the research results show no difference in student mathematicslearning outcomes between offline and online learning.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep matematis adalah kemampuan siswa untuk memahami konsep-konsep matematika secara mendalam dan dapat menerapkan konsep tersebut dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu faktor untuk menunjang pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi internet dengan bijak dan tepat oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pemanfaatan teknologi informasi internet terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP Negeri 9 Kota Palu kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 orang yang terdiri dua kelas dan dari 246 populasi total dari delapan kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket pemanfaatan teknologi informasi internet dan tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Temuan hasil dari penelititian ini bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara pemanfaatan teknologi informasi internet terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP Negeri 9 Kota Palu kelas VIII yang mana nilai R2 0,420 atau bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi internet berkontribusi sebesar 42% terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa adapun 58% pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. Abstract

This study aims to Getting a description of errors and factors that cause errors in doing UAS for grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Galang, knowing the teachings of 2023-2024. This research is a descriptiveresearch with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study is to take 12 students of grade VIII SMP N 2 GALANG based on the value of UAS results under the KKM and teacher recommendations that can represent the answers of other students' mistakes. The researcher selects the subject by looking at the results of the student's final semester exam. Values that are below the MMC (minimum completeness criteria) will be analyzed for errors. The standard of KKM scores set at school is 75, so that students' UAS scores that are less than 75 are analyzed for errors. The results of this study show the types of mistakes made by grade VIII students of SMP N 2 Galang based on Newman's procedure: (1) errors in understanding. (2) errors in transforming, (3) errors in process skills, and (4) errors in writing the final answer. Factors that cause errors: (1) lack of students' understanding of the material that has been taught. (2) mastery of basic mathematical skills in the form of weak mathematical computing. (3) lack of understanding of concepts that make students easily forget the material that has been learned. (4) the learning model is not optimal, so that students still have difficulties in learning mathematics and tend to consider mathematics as a difficult and confusing subject.

Abstract

This study aims to longitudinally describe the metacognitive skills and external representation in the context of problem-solving at Chemistry Education, Tadulako University. The qualitative study respondents were selected from a number of first year students for two consecutive semesters. Two respondents were selected based on results of selection using a metacognitive skills assessment questionnaire (MCAI) and we categorized as high and medium. Three problems were resolved by respondents at intervals of one to two weeks in each semester through a one-on-one thinking aloud and it was followed by a semi-structured interview. Data collection was recorded using a video camera. Metacognitive skills and external representation data from the odd and even semesters were deeply analyzed. This analysis technique was carried out by examining the results of problem solving and semi-structured interviews in detail and matching them with the indicators of metacogni-tive skills and external representation used by both respondents. The data analysis results showed that the thinking ability of respondents with high metacognitive skills in problem solving, experienced developments over time along with the development of their cognitive regulation and external representation. On the other hand, respondents with intermediate metacognitive skills during problem solving, were relatively the same for two consecutive semesters. Therefore, teachers need to consider the use of learning strategies by taking into account the number of students who have dominant characteristics in classroom learning, in terms of metacog-nitive skills and external representation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) within a problem-based learning (PBL) approach to enhance students' creativity and learning outcomes in science subjects at SD Inpres Tanamodindi. The research was conducted in Grade V of SD Inpres 1 Tanamodindi Palu, where students exhibit diverse academic abilities. Following the research design proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart (2013) and Zhong, Y. (2024), the study was carried out in two cycles. Data collection methods included observations, interviews, field notes, and learning outcome assessments. The findings reveal that integrating the STEAM approach into the PBL model at SD Inpres Tanamodindi led to an improvement in learning outcomes, rising from 64.65 in the first cycle to 71.77 in the second cycle. Additionally, students' creativity in solving science-related problems improved, progressing from the "sufficient" category in cycle 1 to the "very good" category in cycle 2.
