Abstract

Abstrak Anemia yaitu suatu keadaan dimana kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah lebih rendah daripada nilai normal untuk setiap kelompok umur dan jenis kelamin, pada wanita remaja Hb normal adalah 12-15 g/dl dan pria remaja adalah 13- 17g/dl. Proporsi anemia pada perempuan 27,2 % lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada laki-laki yaitu 20,3%. Proporsi anemia pada kelompok umur 15-24 tahun sebesar 32%. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan gizi dan pendidikan ibu dengan kejadian anemia pada remaja putri di smp pelita raya kota Jambi. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu Cross Sectional. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan maret sampai Juni 2024 jumlah populasi 53 dan jumlah sampel 53 responden. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square. Berdasarkan data penelitian dan hasil penelitian di peroleh pengetahuan yang baik sebanyak 27 (50,9%), pengetahuan cukup 21 (39,6%), pengetahuan kurang 5 (9,4%), Pendidikan Tinggi sebanyak 13 (13,5%), pendidikan rendah 40 (75,5%) dan kejadian anemia yang anemia sebanyak 13 (24,5%). Hasil analisis bivariat yaitu Hubungan Pengetahuan Gizi Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Remaja Putri dengan nilai p-value 0,039 Berarrti ada hubungan. Hubungan Pendidikan Ibu Dengan Kejadian Anemia Pada Remaja Putri dengan nilai p-value 0,046 Berarrti ada hubungan. Diharapkan kepada sekolah bersama puskesmas untuk memberikan pendidikan gizi/penyuluhan tentang gizi seimbang pada remaja, kesehatan reproduksi, suplementasi gizi dan asam folat serta pengadaan kantin sekolah dalam pengembangan program pencegahan dan penanggulangan anemia sehingga remaja terhindar dari anemia Abstract Anaemia is a condition in which haemoglobin (Hb) levels in the blood are lower than normal for each age group and gender, with normal Hb being 12-15 g/dl for adolescent females and 13-17 g/dl for adolescent males. The data collection method was done by filling a questionnaire and data analysis using univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. Based on the research data and the results of the study obtained, good knowledge as many as 27 (50.9%), sufficient knowledge 21 (39.6%), poor knowledge 5 (9.4%), high education as many as 13 (13.5%), low education 40 (75.5%) and the incidence of anaemia as many as 13 (24.5%). The results of the bivariate analysis, namely the relationship between nutritional knowledge and the incidence of anaemia in adolescent girls with a p-value of 0.039 means that there is a relationship. The relationship between maternal education and the incidence of anaemia in adolescent girls with a p-value of 0.046 means that there is a relationship. It is expected that schools together with health centres to provide nutrition education/counselling on balanced adolescent diet, reproductive health, food supplementation and folic acid and the provision of school canteens in the development of anaemia. prevention and control programs so that adolescents avoid anemia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai rendahnya penggunaan serta kendala terkait media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran IPAS terutama pada siswa kelas IV SDN Baros 3. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis serta mendeskripsikan pengimplementasian media pembelajaran dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru di dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran khsusunya pada pembelajaran IPAS. Hasil penelitian terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran memberikan efek yang besar terutama dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan berfokus pada siswa, sehingga siswa mampu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang sudah dirancang. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa pengimplementasian media pembelajaran IPAS terutama media pembelajaran 3D Fotosintesis, siswa lebih antusias ketika mengikuti proses pembelajaran, siswa lebih mudah dalam memahami materi pembelajaran terutama pada materi proses fotosintesis. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini ialah bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran di SDN Baros 3 belum terlaksana dengan maksimal dikarenakan adanya beberapa kendala , sehingga pada proses pembelajaran peserta didik terlihat pasif. Kemudian dengan adanya bantuan, penerapan media pembelajaran 3D Fotosintesis, peserta didik terlihat sangat senang dan sangat antusias untuk belajar. Jadi dapat diketahui bersama, bahwa media pembelajaran memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

 Anemia is a condition in which the level of haemoglobin (Hb) in the body is below normal. A person is said to be anaemic if the result of the Hb <12g/dl. This is experienced by adolescents, one of which is caused by unhealthy eating habits, so knowledge is needed to change adolescent behaviour so as not to experience anaemia. to find out the description of the level of knowledge about anaemia and breakfast habits in adolescent girls SMP N 9 Jambi City. this research is a quantitative study with a descriptive design, data collection is done by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. The data analysis used in the study was univariate analysis, which then the results would show the frequency distribution and the variables studied (knowledge of anaemia and breakfast habits). The number of samples in the study was 52 female students. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling. The results of this study obtained that as many as 53.8% of the respondents had insufficient knowledge about anaemia and breakfast habits obtained as many as 75% of the respondents who rarely do breakfast. In this study, it can be concluded that the knowledge about anaemia in SMP N 9 Jambi City is still lacking about anaemia and the importance of breakfast, especially for learning activities and concentration. It is recommended to the school to provide more education about anaemia and the importance of breakfast.

Abstract

Anaemia is a condition in which haemoglobin levels are lower than normal. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2018), the prevalence of anaemia among adolescents in Indonesia is 32%. Knowledge is a very important area in shaping a person's actions or attitudes, because actions based on knowledge will be better than behaviour that is not based on knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge of signs and symptoms and attitudes towards anaemia among adolescent girls in SMP N 9 Jambi City. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive research design. The population of this study was 225 adolescent girls of SMP N 9 Jambi City with a sample of 52 adolescent girls of SMP N 9 Jambi City. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling technique. Data collection technique used questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis which then the results will show the frequency distribution of the variables studied, namely knowledge of signs and symptoms and attitudes. The results showed that the percentage of poor knowledge about the signs and symptoms of anaemia was (84.6%), good knowledge was (15.4%). Attitude is not good about anaemia as much as (63.5%), good attitude (36.5%). In this study, it can be concluded that the knowledge and attitude of adolescent girls are still not good about anaemia

Abstract

Instant noodles are a type of junk food often consumed by adolescents. Junk food is a type of food that contains a lot of fat. This situation will eventually lead to overweight-obesity. Overweight is a definition of a condition in which the body has a lot of fat deposits. The purpose of this study was to describe the consumption pattern of instant noodles and the incidence of overweight among students of SMKN 1 Jambi City. This study is a quantitative study using cross-sectional method. This research was conducted in March- July 2024. The population in this study were students of SMK N 1 Jambi City who were in grades X and XI as many as 1,224 students with a sample of 87 people. This research instrument used the SQ-FFQ questionnaire and anthropometric measurements of nutritional status with the IMT/U Z-score indicator. The sample in this study was taken using a proportional random sampling technique. Data analysis was univariate. The results showed that 80.5% of the respondents consumed instant noodles frequently and 44.8% of the respondents were overweight. As an input for students and students of SMKN 1 Jambi City, which is expected to further increase awareness of the importance of paying attention to a good and healthy diet to be consumed.

Abstract

Anaemia is the major public health problem in the world, especially among adolescent girls. The prevalence of anaemia in adolescent girls aged 15 years is 32%, while the prevalence of anaemia in Jambi adolescent girls of senior high school age is 14.5%. The purpose of this study was to describe the nutritional status and incidence of anaemia among adolescent girls in Pelita Raya Junior High School. This study used a quantitative descriptive design. The population of this study was 53 female students. The sampling technique used was a convenience sample of 53 respondents. This research was conducted on 10 June 2024. The data collection methods were through the use of questionnaires and univariate data analysis methods. Based on the research data and the results of the study obtained nutrition respondents at Pelita Raya Junior High School in Jambi City got very thin as many as 1 person (2.0%), thin as many as 7 people (14.0%), normal as many as 25 people (50.0%). Fat as many as 14 people (28.0%) and obese as many as 3 (6.0%) and the description of the incidence of anaemia among the respondents at Pelita Raya Junior High School in Jambi City was normal as many as 38 (76.0%) and anaemia as many as 12 (24.0%). It can be concluded that there are still adolescent girls with anaemia and abnormal nutritional status. It is expected that schools should be able to collaborate with puskesmas to provide health counselling activities on anaemia and the dangers of anaemia if not overcome, and regular monitoring of the nutritional status of adolescents.

Abstract

The times and globalization have affected the consumption patterns of adolescents, especially in terms of junk food, which can have an impact on their nutritional status. This study aims to determine the description of junk food consumption patterns and overweight nutritional status in adolescents at SMK N 1 Jambi City. The research method used was descriptive quantitative with a sample of 87 students in grades X and XI, who were selected using proportional sampling technique based on the Lameshow formula. Data collection was done through Food Frequency Questionnaire and anthropometric measurements. Data analysis used univariate analysis method. The results showed that the majority of respondents (56.3%) had “good” junk food consumption patterns, while 43.7% were categorized as “not good”. Nutritional status showed 80.5% of students were not overweight, while 19.5% were overweight. Although most of the respondents had good junk food consumption patterns and normal nutritional status, there was still a proportion of respondents with unfavourable junk food consumption patterns and the prevalence of overweight that needs attention.

Abstract

One of the causes of nutritional problems in adolescents can be caused by breakfast habits. A good breakfast pattern will affect the child's nutrition. Breakfast is a human need that should be done regularly every morning, for nutritional needs and brain development and to avoid the risk of malnutrition and obesity. WHO 2016 with the category of undernourished girls 8.4% and boys 12.4, Riskesdas 2018 prevalence of nutritional status of adolescents 13-15 years very thin 2.1% and thin 5.5%. The Jambi City Health Office in 2022, the working area of Koni Community Health Centre at the junior high school level with 444 cases experiencing malnutrition, the aim of this study was to describe the breakfast habits and the incidence of malnutrition in adolescent girls at SMP N 2 Jambi City. This type of research is descriptive research, data collection by distributing questionnaires and measuring nutritional status. The sample size was 58 adolescents. Data analysis was done using univariate analysis. The results showed that the percentage of breakfast habits of adolescent girls at SMPN 2 Jambi City with good habits was 56.9% and not good as much as 43.1%. The description of the incidence of malnutrition with malnutrition status as much as (31%) and not malnutrition as much as (69%). It can be concluded that most adolescent girls already have good breakfast habits and most have a nutritional status that is not malnourished. For those adolescents who still have bad breakfast habits, it is recommended that they get used to it, as it can have an impact on the health level of these adolescents.

Abstract

Adolescent nutritional status can be influenced by various factors, one of which is body image. Body image is a person's attitude about feeling satisfied or dissatisfied with his body, resulting in a negative or positive assessment of himself. Body image can occur due to the perception of a person or adolescent who tends to judge his body size larger than the actual size. the actions taken by adolescents often cause harm to themselves such as actions in losing weight by means of unhealthy diets and reducing the portion of food excessively so that it will affect their nutritional status. Based on the results of Riskesdas 2023, it shows that the prevalence of nutritional status of adolescents in Indonesia aged 16-18 years is 1.4% very thin, 6.7% thin, 78.3% normal 9.5% fat and 4.0% obese. This study aims to see the description of body image and nutritional status in adolescents at SMAN 2 Jambi City. This study uses descriptive research methods, the total population in this study was 36 students in class XI, the sample in this study amounted to 36 students, the sampling technique used total sampling. Body image perception was measured using the BSQ questionnaire while nutritional status was measured using digital scales and microtoise which was then calculated using the IMT / U formula. Data analysis was carried out univariately to present the characteristics of body image variables and nutritional status, the results of univariate analysis obtained that most adolescent girls had a 69.4% positive body image and most of 75% had normal nutritional status.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive and chronic nutritional problems caused by inadequate nutritional intake due to the provision of food that does not meet the needs of the long term. The causes of stunting are factors of poor nutrition experienced by pregnant women and children under five, limited health services including services for ante-natal care, post-natal care, lack of access to nutritious food and lack of maternal knowledge regarding health and nutrition before and during pregnancy, as well as after the mother gives birth. In 2021, out of 27,615 toddlers in Jambi City, 179 toddlers are stunted. To date, of 31,373 toddlers, there are 803 toddlers experiencing stunting or 2.56%. For Jambi City, the prevalence of stunting under five in 2021 is 17.4%. Based on the preliminary survey that has been conducted, many mothers do not understand the knowledge, attitudes, and practices in preventing stunting. Based on an initial survey conducted at the Putri Ayu Health Center on 10 pregnant women, there were 7 pregnant women who still did not know how to prevent stunting in children. The health problems above are carried out as a solution to the problem and followed up in order to prevent stunting in children. Therefore the author does community service in this case providing education regarding the prevention of stunting in children by educating pregnant women at the Putri Ayu Health Center, Jambi City. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about stunting and its prevention so as to increase knowledge in preventing stunting with the target of pregnant women at PKM Putri Ayu. This activity was carried out for 6 months, starting from March - August 2023. The method used was by giving education 1x by giving a pre and post test to assess changes in knowledge before and after being given education. The resulting outputs are in the form of increased knowledge of pregnant women regarding stunting prevention and scientific publications in accredited journals
