Abstract

To strengthen students numeracy competence, researchers want to make electronic learning devices, for example e-modules for Fraction Materials. This research uses the development method (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results obtained from this study are in the form of e-module development products based on problem-based learning fraction materials that get validation results as material expert validation gets 92%, media expert validation gets 97%, feasibility gets 94%. In addition, the product that the researcher developed received an N-Gain score of 0.717 which indicates that this product is effective in increasing students' numeracy. Thus, it can be concluded that e-modules based on problem-based learning are declared valid, feasible and effective for increasing the numeracy of grade 5 students on fraction material.

Abstract

This study addresses the low literacy numeracy skills among fourth-grade students in understanding fractions at UPT SD Negeri Kendalrejo 02. The research aimed to develop and validate a Student Worksheet (LKPD) designed with Canva using the Discovery Learning model to enhance students' literacy numeracy abilities. Employing the ADDIE model, the development process included analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. Validity and feasibility assessments were conducted by experts in material, media, and classroom teachers, resulting in validation scores above 90%, indicating the LKPD is highly valid and feasible for use. Implementation involved 20 students, with pretest and posttest results showing significant improvement in literacy numeracy skills; the average pretest score was 65.75, and the posttest score rose to 92.5 with a high N-gain value of 0.76 indicating a substantial increase. The study concludes that LKPD developed with Canva and applied through the Discovery Learning model effectively improves literacy numeracy skills in fraction material, providing an interactive and engaging learning medium. This research contributes to the integration of technology in elementary mathematics learning and supports literacy numeracy development through innovative media.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate a STEM-based E-Module utilizing Kvisoft Flipbook Maker integrated with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, focusing on the topic of energy transformation to enhance critical thinking skills among fourth-grade students at UPT SDN Nglegok 2, Blitar. The research employed Borg and Gall’s development model consisting of seven stages: identification of potential and problems, data collection, product design, expert validation, design revision, product trial, and final revision. Validation from experts in content, media, and language indicated that the E-Module is valid and appropriate for classroom use. The module's practicality and effectiveness were tested through quasi-experimental research involving experimental and control groups. The experimental group using the developed E-Module showed a moderate improvement in critical thinking skills based on N-Gain analysis. Statistical tests, including independent sample t-test and ANOVA, confirmed significant differences and interactions between groups, demonstrating the E Module's effectiveness in promoting critical thinking. The findings suggest that the developed EModule is a valuable and feasible instructional media to enrich learning experiences in science-social studies integrated curriculum (IPAS). It supports teachers in delivering content more interactively and encourages students to engage in higher-order thinking processes.

Abstract

This research aims to develop IT-based learning media. Learning media has not been maximally appliedfor effectiveness during the learning process. The researcher develops a card sort learning media basedon Wordwall with the topic of animal life cycles. This research aims to improve students' self-esteemand science literacy. In designing the card sort based on Wordwall, the Research and Developmentmethod is applied. The development process follows the ASSURE model, which consists of six stages:student analysis, target determination, method selection, media and material selection, media andmaterial application, encouraging student participation, and finally evaluation and revision. The topicand source of this research are 3rd-grade students at SDN Tumpang 02 in Blitar Regency. Data collectiontechniques consist of observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysistechniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-tests, N-gain tests, and MANOVAtests assisted by SPSS 25. The results of the hypothesis test are obtained from the paired sample t-testwith a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 with a t-count of -5.671. The N-gain test result is 0.68, and theMANOVA test result is 0.999 > 0.096. Interviews, recordings, and surveys from experts in the media,material, and language sectors are used to collect information. Validation of self-esteem and scienceliteracy improvement is crucial. The validation process in this development involves three validatorsrepresenting the three fields, resulting in a media expert validator with a percentage result of 87%, amaterial expert validator with a percentage result of 97%, and a language expert validator with apercentage result of 90%. All three results fall into the "very valid" category.

Abstract

This research aims to develop web-based learning media using Baamboozle on the topic of various forms of energy for third-grade students at UPT SDN Plosorejo 01, with the goal of enhancing critical thinking skills. The background of the research is the lack of varied, engaging, and interactive learning media, which affects students' attention and understanding of energy materials. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected thru observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The research results show that the developed Baamboozle media is valid and feasible to use, as well as effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills based on the tests and validations conducted. In conclusion, the web-based Baamboozle learning media can be an innovative solution to enhance students' motivation and critical thinking in learning energy material in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini ditulis untuk mengetahui tentang dampak yang ditimbulkan media sosial terhadap kesadaran beragama anak usia sekolah dasar. Media sosial adalah sebuah media online, dengan para penggunanya bisa dengan mudah berpartisipasi, berbagi, dan menciptakan isi meliputi blog, jejaring sosial, wiki, forum dan dunia virtual. Umumnya media sosial yang digunakan oleh anak sekolah dasar adalah WhatsApp, Instagram, Tiktok, dan YouTube. Orang tua dan guru mempunyai peran penting dalam memberikan pemahaman kesadaran beragama anak. Orang tua juga bisa membatasi penggunaan media sosial bagi anak sesuai dengan usianya. Abstract: This research is written to find out about the impact of social media on religious awareness of elementary school children. Social media is an online media, where users can easily participate, share, and create content including blogs, social networks, wikis, forums and virtual worlds. Generally, social media used by elementary school children are WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube. Parents and teachers have an important role in providing an understanding of children’s religious awareness. Parents can also limit the use of social media for children according to their age.

Abstract

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD). Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi guru adalah menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan tidak monoton, sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa di era digital yang lebih responsif terhadap media visual dan audio. Aplikasi YouTube muncul sebagai solusi inovatif yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan YouTube dalam pembelajaran SD, metode yang digunakan yaitu literatur review yang bersumber dari berbagai jurnal pendidikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan YouTube dapat memberikan manfaat besar terhadap perkembangan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Namun, penggunaan yang tidak terarah juga dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti kecanduan, paparan konten tidak layak, dan gangguan perkembangan bahasa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan strategi pemanfaatan yang tepat, seperti seleksi konten yang relevan, integrasi dengan metode pembelajaran aktif, pemanfaatan fitur interaktif, pengawasan orang tua, serta pelatihan guru. Dengan strategi yang tepat, YouTube dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif dan mendukung perkembangan siswa secara menyeluruh. Abstract The development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in the world of education, including at the elementary school level. One of the main challenges faced by teachers is to create a learning atmosphere that is interesting and not monotonous, in accordance with the characteristics of students in the digital era who are more responsive to visual and audio media. YouTube has emerged as an innovative solution that can be utilized as an interactive, engaging and relevant learning medium for students. This article aims to examine the utilization of YouTube in elementary school learning, the method used is a literature review sourced from various educational journals. The results show that the use of YouTube can provide great benefits to students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. However, undirected use can also have negative impacts such as addiction, exposure to inappropriate content, and impaired language development. Therefore, proper utilization strategies are needed, such as selection of relevant content, integration with active learning methods, utilization of interactive features, parental supervision, and teacher training. With the right strategies, YouTube can be an effective learning medium and support students' overall development.

Abstract

This research aims to develop Science Crossword Game media assisted by Canva to improve the critical thinking and creativity skills of 5th grade students at Zaid Bin Tsabit Creative SDI, Bitar Regency. This research method is research and development Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research is class 5. The research location is SDI Creative Zaid Bin Thabit, Bitar Regency. Data collection uses observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, documentation. The data analysis techniques used are the gutmaan scale, Likert scale, and gain score formula. The results of the research show that the development of the Science Crossword Game media assisted by Canva to improve the critical thinking skills and creativity of grade 5 students is as follows: a) The validity and feasibility of the Science Crossword Game media assisted by Canva, the results of material expert validation obtained an overall average of 3.5 with a percentage of 87% is in the "Very Valid" category, while media expert validation gets an overall average of 3.6 with a percentage of 90% in the "Very Valid" category and media feasibility gets an overall average of 3.9 with a percentage of 98% in the "Very Valid" category. Feasible", b) The form of developing science crossword game media on the human digestive system material can improve critical thinking skills obtained from the pre-test and post-test getting an average of 0.72 in the "high" category, c) The form of developing science crossword game media on digestive system material Humans can increase students' creativity from the results of questionnaires before and after using media. The results before using the media were 63% in the "fairly good" category, while after using the media they were 93% in the "very good" category. Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Deep Learning-based Pop Up Book on Natural Landscape material to improve Self Regulated Learning (SRL) among Grade IV students at UPT SD Negeri Sentul 01, Blitar City. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method adapting the Borg and Gall model into 7 stages, combined with a Quasi Experimental Design using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Eighteen Grade IV students were divided into a control class (9 students) and an experimental class (9 students). Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and SRL questionnaires. Content expert validation yielded 100% (very valid), media expert validation yielded 91% (very valid), and teacher practicality assessment yielded 100% (very feasible). The Paired Sample T-Test for the control class obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, with mean scores increasing from 72.89 to 77.00. The experimental class showed a higher mean increase, from 71.22 to 85.00. The Independent Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a mean post-questionnaire difference of 8 points, where the experimental class (85.00) outperformed the control class (77.00). Therefore, the Deep Learning-based Pop Up Book is proven valid, feasible, and effective in improving Self Regulated Learning among Grade IV elementary school students.
