Abstract

Environmental sanitation is a fundamental aspect of rural community health development. This activity aims to analyze environmental sanitation conditions in Hiliana'a Gomo Village and implement improvement efforts through integrated community service programs. The methods used include direct observation of village environmental sanitation conditions, construction of supporting infrastructure in the form of trash bins and village gates, agricultural land observation to identify development potential, and implementation of basic learning programs and community cooperation activities. Observation results show that the environmental sanitation conditions in Hiliana'a Gomo Village still require improvement, especially in waste management and sanitation infrastructure. Through the construction of trash bins, the community obtained adequate facilities to manage household waste. The construction of village gates provides identity and pride for the local community. Agricultural land observation identified the potential for sustainable agricultural development that can improve community welfare. Basic learning programs provide knowledge to the community about the importance of environmental sanitation and healthy living practices. Community cooperation activities strengthen social cohesion and community participation in village development. The conclusion of this activity is the importance of a holistic approach in improving village environmental sanitation that involves active community participation, supporting infrastructure development, and strengthening community capacity through education and learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship and there is an influence between learning interest on Integrated Science learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The population in this study were all 65 students of class VII at SMP Negeri 4 Maniamolo. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique, meaning that the entire population is used as a sample. The instrument in this study used a closed questionnaire and students' science learning outcomes were in the form of odd semester final exam scores. Data analysis techniques were carried out by describing the data, correlational analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The test results in this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning interest on science learning outcomes, and there is also an influence between learning interest on Integrated Science learning outcomes. So it was concluded that 1) because students have a sense of pleasure, interest, and a high desire for learning which is seen as giving them benefits and satisfaction, 2) students have a sense of comfort, are aware of the benefits of learning, and know the learning goals that make them interested so that learning occurs. improvement in learning outcomes.

Abstract

Financial literacy is one of the essential life skills that students need to possess, particularly vocational high school (SMK) students who are prepared to enter the workforce and participate in social life. The low level of students’ ability to manage personal finances, such as budgeting pocket money, saving, and planning long-term finances, indicates the need for targeted and sustainable educational interventions. This study aims to examine and analyze the role of guidance and counseling services in improving students’ financial literacy at SMK Negeri 1 Toma. This research employs a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data were collected through financial literacy questionnaires distributed to students, while qualitative data were obtained through interviews with guidance and counseling teachers and selected students. The results indicate that guidance and counseling services play a significant role in enhancing students’ financial literacy, particularly in terms of basic financial management understanding and attitudes toward saving habits. However, the application of financial literacy in long-term financial planning remains suboptimal. These findings suggest that guidance and counseling services need to be optimized and more systematically integrated with learning programs and other school activities in order to foster more responsible and sustainable financial behavior among students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Guidance and Counseling (G&C) as a means of strengthening students’ social character in Social Studies (IPS) learning at SMP Swasta Kristen BNKP Teluk Dalam. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, involving G&C teachers, IPS teachers, and students as key informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed thematically to identify the contribution of G&C in developing students’ social character. The findings reveal that G&C services play a significant role in shaping students’ social values, including empathy, tolerance, cooperation, responsibility, and positive interpersonal skills. The integration of G&C services with IPS learning enhances the internalization of social character through real social experiences in classrooms and group activities. Factors supporting the effectiveness of G&C include the competence of G&C teachers, collaboration among teachers and school staff, varied counseling methods, and active student participation. However, challenges such as limited service time and varied student responses need to be addressed for optimal program development. This study confirms that G&C is not only a medium for addressing personal issues but also a strategic tool for developing students’ social character. The findings can serve as a reference for schools in designing integrated G&C programs within IPS learning to foster students who are academically competent and socially responsible.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara bimbingan orangtua dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Susua Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII, berjumlah 63 siswa, dan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel total seluruh populasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Ex Post Facto. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket yang memuat 60 item pernyataan mengenai bimbingan orangtua dan motivasi belajar siswa, yang telah divalidasi melalui triangulasi oleh tiga orang guru senior. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket kepada siswa dan verifikasi data sesuai petunjuk pengisian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan koefisien korelasi Product Moment dan koefisien determinasi, serta uji hipotesis dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara bimbingan orangtua dan motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai rxy = 0,823 > rtabel = 0,367 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, serta kontribusi bimbingan orangtua terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 67,73%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan orangtua memegang peran penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar orangtua lebih aktif memberikan bimbingan, guru melibatkan orangtua dalam proses belajar, dan penelitian selanjutnya memperluas variabel dan populasi untuk memperoleh generalisasi yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok dengan peningkatan etika pergaulan siswa kelas XI.3 Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Idanogawo Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memerlukan bimbingan dalam membentuk sikap etis dalam pergaulan agar dapat bertindak sesuai norma sosial dan sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, koefisien korelasi Pearson, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok berhubungan sangat tinggi dengan peningkatan etika pergaulan siswa. Nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,960, lebih tinggi dari r tabel 0,361 pada N=30 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil uji t menunjukkan t hitung 18,34 > t tabel 2,048, sehingga hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Hal ini membuktikan adanya hubungan signifikan antara pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok dengan peningkatan etika pergaulan siswa. Dengan demikian, bimbingan kelompok dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif dalam membentuk perilaku etis siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan agar kepala sekolah memanfaatkan guru pembimbing dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok secara rutin, siswa menerapkan nilai etika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dan penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan lebih luas pada populasi atau sekolah lain untuk memperkuat temuan.

Abstract

Kenakalan remaja merupakan permasalahan yang sering muncul pada peserta didik usia sekolah menengah pertama dan dapat menghambat perkembangan akademik, sosial, serta kepribadian siswa. Sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal memiliki peran strategis dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan kenakalan remaja, salah satunya melalui layanan bimbingan dan konseling, khususnya layanan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan efektivitas layanan informasi dalam menanggulangi kenakalan remaja pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Fanayama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen, yaitu desain one group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Fanayama yang berjumlah 22 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket kenakalan remaja yang disusun berdasarkan skala Likert dan telah diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik persentase, statistik deskriptif, dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kenakalan remaja sebelum diberikan layanan informasi berada pada kategori tinggi. Setelah diberikan layanan informasi, tingkat kenakalan remaja mengalami penurunan dan berada pada kategori rendah. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest, sehingga layanan informasi dinyatakan efektif dalam menanggulangi kenakalan remaja. Dengan demikian, layanan informasi memiliki peran penting sebagai upaya preventif dan edukatif dalam membantu siswa memahami dampak perilaku menyimpang serta mengarahkan mereka pada perilaku yang positif.
