Abstract

Noise exposure with high intensity on working environment during long time exposure could induce physic  and physicologycally  disorder, giving feeling of uncomfortable and would affect stress and worker quality of life. In other side, social environment at working places that consist of social capital, family support, and good style of leadership phsyicologically giving feeling of comfortable and would reduce phsycologycal burden of workers. Aim of this study was to knew effect  of environmental noise and social environment simultaneously toward quality life of workers. This study was conducted on workers of PT Kusumahadi Santosa, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. Samples were 250 workers, selected by simple random sampling method.  Exogenous variable consist of environmental noise, social capital, family support, leadership style, workers status and age. Endogenous variable on this study was quality of life. Data from all variables collected by using questionnaire and analyse with Path Analysis. Result of this study showed that environmental noise on weaving department affect quality of life by stress. Good social capital on working places affect quality of  life of workers. Good works  support  affect quality life of workers.

Abstract

Perkerasan kaku banyak digunakan pada kondisi tanah dasar yang mempunyai daya dukung rendah. Perkerasan kaku merupakan solusi tepat dalam menangani tanah dasar yang bermasalah. Namun jika tebal dan mutu beton tidak diperhitungkan dengan tepat, akan menghasilkan lendutan yang sangat besar, sehingga menyebabkan cracking, serta pumping dan faulting pada perkerasan. Metode Elemen Hingga  adalah salah satu alternatif dalam menganalisis besarnya lendutan  akibat pembebanan  pusat, dan tepi pelat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pelat  berukuran 6x3 m dengan ketebalan 15,20, 25, 30 dan 35 cm dengan pembebanan 8 ton serta dengan mutu beton K250,K300 dan K350 pada pembebanan tengah dan tepi pelat.. Pada CBR 5% dengan tebal 15 cm Nilai lendutan maximum pada pelat tengah adalah  -0,7630 mm sedangkan pada beban tepi sebesar -1,5646 mm dengan prosentase penurunan 51,23%. Prosentase penurunan pada beban tepi dan tengah sebesar 38%-52%.Sebaran tahanan tanah dasar pada beban tepi lebih sedikit dari pada beban tengah sehingga lendutan menjadi lebih besar. Besarnya nilai lendutan berbanding terbalik dengan  mutu beton, CBR dan tebal pelat.

Abstract

Kinerja perkerasan merupakan kondisi perkerasan yang dapat memberikan pelayanan kepada pemakai jalan selama kurun waktu perencanaan tertentu. Ruas Jalan Mangu-Nogosari, Boyolali merupakan jalan penghubung antara Kabupaten Boyolali dengan Kabupaten Sragen. Jalan ini mengalami kerusakan dari waktu ke waktu. Kerusakan yang terjadi pada ruas tersebut antara lain retak (longitudinal, edge, block cracking), pengangkatan (heave), amblas (depression), bergelombang dan berlubang (potholes). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kerusakan dan nilai kondisi perkerasan jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengukur panjang, lebar serta luasan dari tiap kerusakan yang terjadi . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Ruas Jalan Mangu-Nogosari, Boyolali memiliki nilai PCI rata-rata pada Ruas Jalan Mangu-Nogosari, Boyolali sebesar 38,69. Ruas jalan yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang terdapat pada tiga segmen, yaitu segmen I (Sta.0+000 s.d 1+000) dengan nilai PCI 50, segmen II (Sta.1+000 s.d 2+000) dengan nilai PCI 44,67 dan segmen III (Sta.2+000 s.d 3+000) dengan nilai PCI 44,33. Segmen yang mengalami kondisi sangat buruk yaitu segmen IV (Sta.3+000 s.d 4+000) dengan nilai PCI 11 dan segmen VI (Sta. 5+000 s.d 6+000) dengan nilai PCI 17,33. Segmen yang mengalami kondisi baik yaitu segmen V (Sta. 4+000 s.d 5+000) dengan nilai PCI 64,83. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi Ruas Jalan Mangu-Nogosari, Boyolali dikategorikan dalam kondisi fair (buruk).

Abstract

Mobile games develop along with technological developments. Gaming applications by applying special graphics technologies optimizes any mobile device. The purpose of this study is to design an Action RPG game application by applying Cocos2d technology to be implemented on mobile devices based on IOS operating system. This study performs data collecting and analyzing, interface designing, application implementation, and application evaluation using the Waterfall Model. Data collection is withdrawn from several surveys related to user needs and similar games. Progressing the study, gameplay design is performed using UML, the data storage structure, and interface design. The study results in an Action RPG game application that is implemented on mobile devices. The results showes that Action RPG games can be developed by incorporating elements of art, graphics, and stories that enhance user's interests.

Abstract

This article presents analysis and design of multimedia based e-notetaking application. The goals of the research are to optimize audio-visual usage in taking note, to organize notes to be tidied and categorized, and to make easy copying and sharing notes to other users. Output of the research is an e-notetaking application implemented on laptops. The designed e-notetaking application has features for users in taking notes by using notebook or netbook as easily as taking notes by using book.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the state of energy security in East Sumba, one of the four regencies dividing the Island of Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. This region was chosen for this study as it is popularly known as the Iconic Island of Renewable Energy. Data was gathered by applying expert interview method and analytical hierarchy process. In sum, 30 source persons dealing with the energy security issue were interviewed: 11 government officials (G), 8 businessmen (B), 5scholars (A), 4 from the common society (C), and 2 from a financial institution. This study applied energy security index to assess energy security in East Sumba. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and Eckenrode method, with energy security as a criterion. The study results show that the energy security index based on renewable resources in East Sumba is still relatively low (5.91). East Sumba is rich in natural sources of energy, such as sunlight, water, biomass, wind, and biogas. Factors such as poor affordability lead to a low energy security index in East Sumba, which is often a result of poverty. The natural vast hilly and grassland topography and the decentralized settlement of the people of East Sumba also lead to poor accessibility of energy. Moreover, the supporting infrastructure, such as roads, also causes a low index of energy security. The lack of an institutional model also discourages investors from investing in East Sumba. The electrification ratio in East Sumba is still low, reaching only 31%.

Abstract

Jumlah anak usia 1-3 tahun di posyandu Desa Tawangrejo Kecamatan Takeran Kabupaten Magetan sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2009 tercatat sebanyak 101 balita .Dari hasil studi pendahuluan yang di laksanakan bulan Juli 2009 terhadap 20 balita dengan menggunakan KPSP , menunjukkan 12 balita (60%) mempunyai perkembangan normal (nilai KPSP ≥ 9), sedangkan 8 balita (40%) mempunyai perkembangan tidak normal (nilai KPSP ≤ 7) dan dilakukan penilaian ulang setelah 2 minggu, apabila menunjukkan nilai yang sama yaitu 7 maka ada kemungkinan penyimpangan. Dari 12 balita (60%) yang mempunyai perkembangan normal dinilai cara pemberian stimulasinya diketahui bahwa 6 balita (50%) cara pemberian stimulasinya baik, 4 balita (33,3%) cara pemberian stimulasinya cukup baik, dan 2 balita (16,7%) cara pemberian stimulasinya kurang baik. Kemudian dari 8 balita (40%) yang mempunyai perkembangan tidak normal dan dilakukan penilaian tentang cara pemberian stimulasinya diketahui bahwa 6 balita (75%) cara pemberian stimulasinya kurang baik dan 2 balita (25%) cara pemberian stimulasinya tidak baik.

Abstract

Tempura is a kind of snack well liked by children because they are delicious and its inexpensive.Being so inexpensive there is always a possibility that some aspects of food quality are compromised. Thisresearch was intended to learn on the quality of tempura snacks on the basis of their physical, chemicaland microbiological aspects.This was considered as a descriptive research, focusing on the quality of tempura snacks sold byvendors in the vicinity of SON Bogem I, to be riviewed from physical aspects (color, smell, taste, andtexture), chemical (borax and formalin) and microbiological aspects (bacterial count). The population to bestudied were all tempura snacks sold by vendors in the vicinity of SON Bogem I. In this research 3 samplesof tempura snacks were taken. These samples were selected using simple random sampling. .The result indicated that the physical quality of all sample were poor. On inspection of chemicalquality all samples were positive for borax and formalin contents. Examination of the bacterial count onsamples tempura snacks resulted in a mean of sample 1 as 493.3 colonies/gram, sample 2 was 133.7colonies/gram and sample 3 was 560 colonies/gram. Therefore, according the quality standard desionatedin Surat Keputusan Kepala Badan POM RI No. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 Tahun 2009 Tentang Penetapan BatasCemaran Mikroba dan Kimla Oalam Makanan, that is 100,000 colonies/gram, this meant that sample 2exceeded the limit.This research concluded that based on their physical, chemical and microbiological aspects,tempura snacks sold by vendors in the vicinity of SON Bogem I, kecamatan Sukomoro kabupaten Magetanshould be disqualified for consumption. The study is warning the community to be more selective andtaking a good care in buying of snacks, specially of tempura snacks.

Abstract

Simpang Empat Titik Nol KM Yogyakarta menjadi pusat lalu lintas sebagi pertemuan jalur utama yang menghubungkan berbagai wilayah di Kota Yogyakarta. Kendaraan yang melintasi simpang ini menghasilkan kadar emisi gas buang kendaraan yang signifikan tiap harinya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kajian untuk mengoptimasi kinerja Simpang Empat Titik Nol KM sehingga dapat meminimalisir emisi gas buang kendaraan yang dihasilkan. Analisis kinerja simpang menggunakan perangkat lunak PTV Vistro metode Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) 2010 berdasarkan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) dan tundaan (D), pada kondisi eksisting dan setelah optimasi. Analisis emisi gas buang kendaraan menggunakan rumus dari LAPI-ITB. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kinerja simpang yang ditandai dengan penurunan nilai tundaan simpang setelah dilakukan optimasi kinerja. Kinerja Simpang Empat Titik Nol KM menghasilkan nilai tundaan (D) = 30,18 det/smp menjadi 22,3 det/smp pada jam sibuk pagi serta nilai tundaan (D) = 50,47 det/smp menjadi 27,4 det/smp pada jam sibuk sore. Peningkatan kinerja simpang berpengaruh positif dengan menurunnya nilai emisi gas buang kendaraan yang dihasilkan. Emisi gas buang kendaraan mengalami penurunan sebesar 52,85% pada jam sibuk pagi dan 63,26% pada jam sibuk sore dalam semua jenis gas yang dianalisis.

Abstract

The construction of the Solo-Yogyakarta toll road is part of the National Strategic Project. At the construction stage, toll road infrastructure needs to assess the impact of traffic on surrounding roads and intersections, considering the many security and safety problems. Road performance evaluation is critical to overcome traffic problems that may arise during toll road operations in the future. This research aims to calculate traffic performance at signalized intersections, which are influenced by the construction of the Solo-Yogya toll road. The locations studied were four signalized intersections on the Solo-Yogya toll road using primary data on the number of vehicles, travel time, and vehicle speed. The performance of signalized intersections is calculated using the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines, while the distribution of future movements is carried out using JICA STRADA Software and the Gravity model with applicable toll road rates. The traffic growth is 5.6% per year, according to data on the number of vehicles in Jawa Tengah Dalam Angka. The performance of signalized intersections after constructing the Solo-Yogya toll road in 2022 has an average Volume Capacity Ratio (VCR) value of 0.78. In 2046, it will be 1.47. At intersection-3 Bangak Barat and intersection-4 Condong Catur, building an Interchange before 2032 is recommended. The recommendation is to reduce vehicle delays, as in 2032, the VCR value will be more than 0.8. The study gives insight into the combined methods of forecasting traffic growth on signalized intersections near freeways.
