Abstract

ABSTRACTThis  research  is  aimed  to  determine  the  correlation  between  student’s critical thinking ability and learning outcomes by using guided inquiry based on dlended learning model on the topic of human respiration system.  This research was conducted in August until October 2017 in Biology educational Department Siliwangi University. This research method used was correlational method. Population of this research were all students in four smester in biology Department. The sample used in this research was one class and choosen by cluster random sampling. The data were gained by giving the posttest consisting of 12 analysis questions in order to measure student’s critical tinking, and 34 multiple choice questions to measure student’s learning output. Data analysis used was regresion and correlation analysis with significant level (α) 0,05. The result of research, data analysis, and hypotesis testing reveals that there is a positive correlation between student’s critical thinking ability and learning outcomes by using guided inquiry based blended learning on the topic of human respiration system.                                                                                Keyword    : guided inquiry, critical thinking ability, learning outcome. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbasis blended learning pada materi sistem respirasi manusia Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2017 di jurusan pendidikan biologi Universitas Siliwangi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan populasi seluruh mahsiswa semester empat program studi pendidikan biolgi, sebanyak 4 kelas. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak 1 kelas, yaitu kelas C sebagai kelas yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbasis blended learnig. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan postest sebanyak 12 butir soal berbentuk uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan 34 butir soal berbentuk pilihan ganda untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi korelasi dengan α 0,05. Hasil penelitian, analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi positif antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui model inkuirin terbimbing berbasis blended learning  pada materi sistem imunitas manusia.Kata Kunci : inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract The Learning Start With a Question (LSQ) Model in this reseach is applied for improvement of learning outcomes in senior high school for  subject of Reproductive Systems.Metodology of this reseach is true experimental by using control group pretest-posttest design. The population of students XI SMA 1 Banjarsari. The sample of  2 classes taken cluster random sampling from 6 classes, that one class as experimental class is XI IPA 1 the number of sample is 24 students and the class as control class is XI IPA 2 the number of sample is 24 students. Data collection techniques are paper test (pretest and posttest) to obtain data on student learning outcomes. The research’s data are done with consider their normality an homogenity, and then the data analysis technique is used mean difference test with t-test with a significant level (α) = 5%.Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing shows that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes of  senior high school student whose learning process uses the Learning Start With a Question (LSQ) model. The gain value for the experimental class is 14.5 and for the control class 11.68. Keywords: Learning Start With a Question, Learning Outcomes, Reproductive System Abstrak Penerapan Model Learning Start With a Question (LSQ) dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa SMA pada pokok bahasan Sistem Reproduksi.Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah true ekperimental dengan menggunakan desain rancangan control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa XI SMA Negeri 1 Banjarsari. Sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yang diambil secara cluster random sampling dari 6 kelas, satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 sebanyak 24 orang dan dan satu kelas sebagai kelas kontril yaitu XI IPA 2 sebanyak 24 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan ujian tukis (pretest dan posttest) untuk memperoleh data kemampuan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil data penelitian sudah diuji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitasnya dan kemudian teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji perbedaan dua rata-rata (uji-t) dengan taraf signifikan (α) = 5%.Berdasarkan analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa SMA yang proses pembelajarannya menggunakan model Learning Start With a Question (LSQ). Abstract

The Brain Based Learning (BBL) Model in this reseach is applied for improvement of learning outcomes in primary school for subject of sensory Systems. Metodology of this reseach is true experimental by using control group pretest-posttest design. The population of students class IV SD Negeri Tejamaya. The sample of 2 classes taken total sampling, that one class as experimental class is IV A the number of sample is 35 tudents and the class as control class is IV B the number of sample is 36 students. Data collection techniques are paper test (pretest and posttest) to obtain data on student learning outcomes. The research’s data are done with consider their normality an homogenity, and then the data analysis technique is used mean difference test with t-test with a significant level (?) = 5%. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing shows that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes of primary school student whose learning process uses the Brain Based Learning (BBL) model. The n-gain value for the experimental class is 0,82 and for the control class 0,62.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was knowing the effect of guided inquiry learning based blended learning to student learning outcomes on human digestive system. This research was conducted in August 2016 until October 2016 in in Biology educational Department. The research method used true experiment method. The population of this research is all first semester students are four classes with 137 students. The sample used by 2 class taken by cluster random sampling that is A class with 32 students as experiment class and C class with 32 students as control class. Research instrument is a multiple choice learning outcomest test about human digetive System.Data analysis technique used test of difference of two mean (t-test) with ? = 0.05. Based on the results of research can be concluded that there is effect of guided inquiry learning based blended learning to student learning outcomes on human digestive system

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the free inquiry learning model on scientific literacy skills of students on biodiversity material. This research was conducted in July to October 2019. The research method used true experimental with a population of all classes X SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya as many as 7 classes with a total of 248 students. The samples used were 2 classes taken by cluster random sampling, namely class X MIPA-5 as a control class and class X MIPA-6 as an experimental class. The research instrument was in the form of a scientific literacy skill test in the form of multiple choices on biodiversity material, amounting to 48 questions. The data analysis technique used is the parametric statistical test (t test). 2 Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an influence of the free inquiry learning model on the scientific literacy skills of students on biodiversity material in class X SMA Negeri 6 Tasikmalaya in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih pada materi sistem saraf manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2018 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2019 di SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih sebanyak 3 kelas. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tulis hasil belajar pada materi sistem saraf manusia yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran berlangsung. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ancova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem saraf manusia di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih.Abstract. This research was conducted from September 2018 until July 2019 at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih. The research used the true experiment method. The population in this study were all XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih as many as 3 classes. The sample used was 2 classes, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as the control class taken by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of tests of learning outcomes on the nervous system subject was conducted before and after learning process were taken place. The datas were analyzed by using the Ancova test. The results showed that there was the effect guided inquiry learning model toward learning outcomes of students on nervous system subject in XI MIPA classes at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' argumentation skills at MTs Idrisiyyah, Tasikmalaya Regency, in the context of Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI), which includes issues related to science and society based on the components of scientific argumentation from the Toulmin model. The study used a quantitative descriptive method; as many as 63 Grade VIII learners participated. The results of the analysis showed that the ability to claim was excellent (86%), but argumentation support such as data (64%), warrant (32%), qualifier (30%), and backing (27%) was still low. This finding indicates that although learners can convey claims well, they have difficulty supporting these claims with strong data and arguments. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for educators in designing more effective learning strategies related to the development of argumentation skills in the context of SSI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions in the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on two main dimensions: critical thinking and creativity, at SMKN Pancatengah. These dimensions are considered relevant in supporting the development of 21st-century skills, including analytical thinking, creativity, and adaptability to change. The study adopts a quantitative approach using experimental methods. Based on data analysis, the critical thinking dimension showed a high average score (67.63), indicating that students are capable of logical thinking and systematic problem-solving. Meanwhile, the creativity dimension also demonstrated high results with an average score of 69.43, suggesting that students possess the ability to develop new ideas and innovate. However, some aspects, such as the courage to innovate and social leadership, still need improvement.The study also examines 21st-century skills in the dimensions of character and citizenship, which showed more varied results, with the citizenship aspect requiring further reinforcement. These findings highlight the importance of effective character and citizenship education to foster individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also socially, emotionally, and morally competent. Therefore, improving the quality of learning in these two dimensions will support the formation of an excellent and productive generation in the 21st century. Dimensi-dimensi ini dianggap relevan dalam mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, yang meliputi kemampuan berpikir analitis, kreativitas, serta adaptasi terhadap perubahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen.Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh bahwa dimensi bernalar kritis menunjukkan skor rata-rata tinggi (67,63) dengan indikasi bahwa siswa mampu berpikir logis dan menyelesaikan masalah secara sistematis. Sementara itu, dimensi kreatif juga menunjukkan hasil tinggi dengan rata-rata skor 69,43, menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangkan ide-ide baru dan berinovasi. Meskipun demikian, beberapa aspek seperti keberanian berinovasi dan kepemimpinan sosial masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji keterampilan abad 21 dalam dimensi karakter dan kewarganegaraan, yang menunjukkan hasil yang lebih beragam, dengan aspek kewarganegaraan yang perlu penguatan lebih lanjut. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendidikan karakter dan kewarganegaraan yang efektif untuk menciptakan individu yang tidak hanya cerdas intelektual, tetapi juga sosial, emosional, dan moral. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di kedua dimensi ini akan mendukung pembentukan generasi yang unggul dan produktif di abad ke-21.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan profil sekolah Adiwiyata di MTs Cijangkar Kabupaten Tasikmalaya tentang peduli lingkungan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data mengacu pada model Miles & Huberman 2014 yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data penelitian adalah guru, siswa dan kepala sekolah. Dalam implementasi program Adiwiyata, sekolah melaksanakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang mencakup kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan, penerapan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan, kegiatan lingkungan yang melibatkan partisipasi, serta pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana. Keberhasilan program Adiwiyata di MTs Cijangkar juga didukung oleh sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, fasilitas yang tersedia meliputi tempat sampah berwarna untuk pemilahan sampah organik dan anorganik, tempat cuci tangan untuk mendukung kebiasaan hidup bersih, serta lahan khusus untuk apotek hidup dan kebun sekolah. Semua fasilitas ini dikelola secara efektif dan efisien, sesuai dengan prosedur pengelolaan lingkungan yang telah ditetapkan. Dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi diperoleh data bahwa program adiwiyata di MTs Cijangkar Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi serta tindak lanjut untuk meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan warga sekolah.

Abstract

A healthy ecosystem depends on good ecological literacy, but students' environmental awareness is still low. This study aims to analyze the ecological literacy profile of students in science learning at SMPN 1 Parigi. The method used is descriptive quantitative with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire that measures three indicators of ecological literacy, namely ecological participation, ecological awareness, and ecological skills. This study involved 32 class VIII students as a sample and was carried out in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The results showed that the ecological literacy of students was in a poor category with an average score of 38.23. In more detail, the ecological participation indicator obtained the highest score of 38.75, while the ecological skills indicator was the lowest with a score of 37.81. This low score is due to the lack of direct experience-based learning, lack of relevant learning resources, and the suboptimal integration of ecological issues in the science curriculum. The research results recommend the application of Problem-Based Learning based on local wisdom to link learning with surrounding environmental issues. In addition, the use of technology in ecological learning, such as interactive digital platforms, the use of IoT-based environmental sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI)-based simulations, can be an innovative strategy in increasing students' understanding. Technology enables real-time environmental data analysis and provides a deeper and evidence-based learning experience. Thus, the integration of technology in ecological education is expected to increase students' awareness and skills in facing environmental challenges more effectively. This effort is important to form a more environmentally conscious generation and contribute to sustainable ecological preservation. ABSTRAKEkosistem yang sehat bergantung pada literasi ekologi yang baik, namun kesadaran lingkungan peserta didik masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil literasi ekologi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMPN 1 Parigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner yang mengukur tiga indikator literasi ekologi, yaitu partisipasi ekologi, kesadaran ekologi, dan keterampilan ekologi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 32 peserta didik kelas VIII sebagai sampel dan dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi ekologi peserta didik berada pada kategori kurang baik dengan rata-rata skor 38,23. Secara lebih rinci, indikator partisipasi ekologi memperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 38,75, sedangkan indikator keterampilan ekologi menjadi yang terendah dengan skor 37,81. Rendahnya skor ini disebabkan oleh minimnya pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman langsung, kurangnya sumber belajar yang relevan, serta belum optimalnya integrasi isu ekologi dalam kurikulum IPA. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan penerapan Problem-Based Learning berbasis kearifan lokal untuk mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan isu lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran ekologi, seperti platform digital interaktif, penggunaan sensor lingkungan berbasis IoT, dan simulasi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI), dapat menjadi strategi inovatif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Teknologi memungkinkan analisis data lingkungan secara real-time dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam serta berbasis bukti. Dengan demikian, integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan ekologi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan lingkungan secara lebih efektif. Upaya ini penting untuk membentuk generasi yang lebih sadar lingkungan dan berkontribusi pada pelestarian ekologi secara berkelanjutan.
