Abstract

Aerobic endurance is an important element for a soccer player. Exercise brings changes and adaptations to the body, including increasing maximum oxygen capacity, including intermittent training. Football is a dynamic sport and is a big football sport that relies on excellent performance. The aim of this research is to test whether intermittent training has an effect on the maximum oxygen capacity of football players, namely Persela Lamongan FC players. The author uses experimental research. Intermittent training uses three posts (shuttle run, 2.4 km run, fartlek run) with a training frequency of 3 times a week face to face with progressive (gradual) intensity and load. The test instrument used by the author in this research is the Beep Test or MFT (Multi Fitness Stage). The significance value of the post-test results shows that there is an effect of intermittent training on the maximum oxygen capacity of Persela Lamongan FC players with >0.05 (sig=.076). The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of intermittent training on the maximum oxygen capacity of Persela Lamongan players. Abstract

Football can be defined as a high-speed game with running while carrying the ball or not and constant movement both for attack and defense. However, with high speed, power, and skill, the factor that can limit their performance is the consideration of the weight of the football player. Weight can affect an important role in the game if it hinders the player's running, speed of movement and when kicking the ball. Leg muscle explosive power is a very important variable in assessing the level of muscle power produced by the lower leg muscles. Therefore, leg muscle explosive power is often used as an important predictor of performance in football sports that require skills in kicking the ball. This study aims to determine the effect of body composition on leg muscle explosive power in Liga 1 Persija Jakarta soccer players. This study is an experimental type through a quantitative descriptive approach (based on numerical data). The research sample was 17 players. The test instruments used were anthropometric tests and power jump tests. Data analysis used SPSS IBM 25. The results of the post-test analysis obtained an average of 59.1271 with a significance of >0.05 (p = 0.031). In conclusion, there is an influence of body composition on the explosive power of the leg muscles of Persija Jakarta soccer players.

Abstract

Sports activities are carried out once a week without a structured concept and seem boring. With the rarity of volleyball games, students when doing lower passes still encounter some difficulties. This research methodology uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection using surveys, with the subjects in this study conducted on VII grade students of SMP Plus Al-Firdaus totaling 19 students. Research planning begins with the development of research instruments, namely observation sheets, rubrics for assessing lower passing techniques, and student motivation/enthusiasm questionnaires, as well as submitting a research permit application letter to the principal of SMP Plus Al-Firdaus. The steps in data collection are: 1) Students perform lower passes according to the teacher's instructions. 2) Each student is given the opportunity to do 10 times the lower pass. 3) Each trial is evaluated using an assessment rubric (aspects of technique, accuracy, and consistency). Data analysis using a quantitative descriptive approach, from the results of data analysis obtained the results of the volleyball lower passing skills test with an average score of 85 including Excellent with a total of 4 students, while those who obtained an average score of 77 in the good classification were 15 students. We can analyze that so far, the volleyball learning process, especially the basic lower passing techniques that have been given to students, is in the good category.
