Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar tematik siswa, yang disebabkan karena kurangnya media pembelajaran tematik untuk memfasilitasi siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun animasi dua dimensi, dan mendeskripsikan kualitas hasil validasi animasi dua dimensi. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah model ADDIE. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, pencatatan dokumen, observasi dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian (1) rancang bangun animasi dua dimensi pada pembelajaran tematik meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. (2) hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan oleh para ahli dan subyek uji coba produk menunjukkan bahwa animasi dua dimensi pada pembelajaran tematik valid berdasarkan: (a) hasil review ahli isi pembelajaran dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (94,5%), (b) hasil review ahli desain pembelajaran dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (95%), (c) hasil review ahli media pembelajaran dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (95%), (d) hasil uji coba perorangan dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (90,91%), (e) dan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dengan kualifikasi sangat baik (92,42%). Jadi, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa animasi dua dimensi berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik.

Abstract

Belum tersedianya media pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPA sebagai penunjang pembelajaran didalam kelas mengakibatkan rendahnya minat belajar siswa kelas VI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan multimedia interaktif untuk mata pelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas VI. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan dengan menggunakan model DDD-E. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu 3 pakar, 3 siswa perorangan, 6 siswa kelompok kecil. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner/angket (tertutup dan terbuka dengan isian singkat). Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu hasil review ahli isi mata pelajaran menunjukan kualifikasi sangat baik dengan persentase (95,50%), hasil review ahli desain pembelajaran menunjukan kualifikasi sangat baik dengan persentase (94,00%), hasil review ahli media menunjukkan kualifikasi sangat baik dengan persentase (91,00%), hasil uji perorangan menunjukan kualifikasi sangat baik dengan persentase (91,10%), hasil uji kelompok kecil menunjukan kualifikasi sangat baik dengan persentase (92,58%). Jadi multimedia interaktif layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan guru sebagai media yang membantu siswa dalam belajar.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dan tujuan penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan rancang bangun media video animasi pada pelajaran tema 5 cuaca untuk siswa kelas III semester ganjil di sekolah dasar dan mendeskripsikan validitas media video animasi pada pelajaran tema 5 cuaca untuk siswa kelas III semester ganjil di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaiatu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu satu ahli desain pembelajaran, satu ahli media pembelajaran, satu ahli isi pembelajaran, tiga orang siswa uji coba perorangan, dan sembilan orang siswa uji coba kelompok kecil. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pencatatan dokumentasi, metode wawancara, metode observasi, dan metode kuesioner. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pencatatan dokumen, lembar kuesioner, dan lembar wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pada tujuan penelitian yang pertama yaitu rancang bangun media video animasi dengan menggunakan tahap pengembangan ADDIE. Pada tujuan penelitian yang kedua dengan melihat hasil validitas menyimpulkan bahwa pada hasil oleh uji ahli desain pembelajaran dengan skor 88% dengan kualifikasi baik, uji ahli media pembelajaran dengan skor 95% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji ahli isi pembelajaran dengan skor 94% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji coba perorangan dengan skor 93,34% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, dan uji coba kelompok kecil dengan skor 92,94% deangan kualifikasi sangat baik.

Abstract

The learning process for science content is still teacher-centred; students tend to accept what the teacher explains, but it needs to provide opportunities for students to develop independently. So, if learning is left like that, student learning outcomes will stay the same. This research aims to develop e-module media with a contextual approach to class V elementary school science content. This research is development research using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research consisted of learning content experts, learning design experts, learning media experts, 3 individual trial students, 6 small group trial students and 37 field trial students. The data collection methods used were questionnaire, pre-test and post-test methods. Data analysis techniques use qualitative, quantitative analysis and inferential statistics. The research results show that the e-module developed is valid based on learning content experts, learning design experts, and learning media experts; the results obtained are in the very good category, and individual trials and small group tests are in the very good category. Testing the effectiveness of e-modules using a contextual approach, there was a significant difference in learning outcomes for science content before and after using e-module learning media with a contextual approach. The research conclusion is that the e-module is feasible and valid to use.

Abstract

Students with deaf-mute disabilities in inclusive elementary schools often face significant barriers in accessing verbal instruction, particularly in subjects that require abstract reasoning such as mathematics. This study aims to explore the difficulties in learning mathematics experienced by students with deaf-mute disabilities in inclusive elementary schools and analyze the need for the use of assistive technology to support their learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews and classroom observations. The research participants consisted of one teacher, two hearing impairment students, two parents, and one principal. Data analysis was carried out using the data triangulation method. The results of the study indicate that students with deaf-mute disabilities have difficulty in understanding mathematical concepts that are delivered verbally, especially in abstract terminology. The findings also reveal that visual and interactive assistive technology is needed to help students understand mathematics material better. Teachers, parents, and students expect technology that combines animation, video, interactive images, and physical devices that support direct interaction with learning materials. Based on these findings, VirtuMath, as an assistive technology that integrates visual and sensory representations, is proposed as a potential solution to support mathematics learning for hearing impairment students.

Abstract

Using e-learning in higher education has many important benefits and advantages in todays world of education. Therefore, this research aims to develop e-learning based on the introduction, connection, application, reflection, extend (ICARE) learning model for developing teaching materials courses in the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The Hannafin and Peck development model was adopted as a foundational method, and the digital content developed was subjected to formative evaluation methods, including i) expert validation, ii) individual assessment, and iii) small group evaluation. To ascertain the quality of the developed content, the research engaged 3 expert evaluators, each specializing in media, instructional design, and content. Concurrently, individual evaluation was carried out with 3 students, followed by a small group evaluation involving 9 additional students. Data collection techniques involved both observational measures and questionnaire-based inquiries. The expert assessment showed that the design, media, and content dimensions all fell within the "very good" category. Student reactions, as measured through both individual and small group evaluations, consistently aligned with the "very good" category. Therefore, the attractiveness and practicality of electronic learning (e-learning) fell under the "very good" classification, due to the implementation of the ICARE learning model as the foundational design principle.

Abstract

Online learning is a growing trend in education during the corona virus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the difficulties that online majors in non-English languages have when attempting to acquire English. The subject of this study involved using the questionnaire method for as many as 412 students and interviewing 15 students with a total of 17 questions. The results of this study indicate that there are several challenges faced by students during online learning; i) less familiarity with online learning as shown by 31% of students agreeing that online learning is a new learning method, ii) psychologically 30% of students choose strongly agree that they have limited opportunities to interact directly and freely with lecturers as well as with students, iii) limited facilities and infrastructure as much as 28% agree that the budget is limited to get quota or internet credit, and iv) limited internet access as many as 35% of students do not have good internet coverage to take online lectures. The findings of this study should be a reference for English lecturers to continue learning to innovate in providing online English learning by considering the existing challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the validity of sign language-based virtual manipulatives media for teaching mathematics to deaf-mute students in inclusive elementary schools. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. Validation was conducted by three categories of experts: media expert, inclusive instructional design expert, and mathematics content expert. The instrument used was a validation sheet featuring a Likert scale and a qualitative feedback column. The validation results showed that the media achieved an average score of 94.73%, placing it in the "very valid" category. These findings indicate that the developed media has met technical, pedagogical, and inclusive criteria and is feasible for use in the implementation stage of learning. This research contributes to the development of adaptive and accessible digital learning media for students with special needs, particularly those who are deaf-mute, and supports the implementation of quality inclusive education.
